Radial sealing system

A device and a method for its manufacture, for magnetic-inductive measurement of the quantity of mixture flowing through a pipeline into which the device has been incorporated. The device includes a housing having a measuring tube with an electrically insulating lining therein. The lining substantially consists of wear-resistant, insulating ceramic material in the form of tiles applied on a layer of plastic material having a thickness between 3 and 10 mm. The joints between the tiles are filled with plastic material. The housing contains magnetic coils. A pair of electrodes are mounted in the measuring tube and extend through the wall of the measuring tube and are insulated in relation to it. Within the housing, the electrodes are connected to lines leading to measuring members for measuring the voltage difference generated in the flowing medium by the magnetic field of the magnetic coils.

Shaft seal consisting of an annular body of elastic material, comprising a fastening flange (1;12), a substantially axially extending flexible hinge portion (6;13) and a sealing lip (7;14). The fastening flange, hinge portion and sealing ring (5) form a single piece, and the sealing ring (7;14) has a cylindrical contact surface with the shaft extending over substantially the entire length of the sealing ring. Sealed bearing

The invention relates to an axial bearing comprising a shaft 1 with a disc 2, said disc having grooves 7 and cooperates with a stationary disc 5,6 made from elastomeric material the bearing being based upon the principle that the flank 8 or flanks 8,9 of the groove 7 under all circumstances from stand still to motion at full speed deform the smooth surface of elastomeric material and form a lubricating wedge.

Axial bearing

The invention relates to a method of manufacturing large diameter axial sealing rings from hard-metal blocks which are placed in an annular groove said blocks being secured within said groove by filling said groove with liquid solder and circumferentially pressing the radial end faces of the blocks within said liquid solder filled groove against each other by means of radially acting clamp bolts.

The present invention relates to a seal of a shaft being rotatable relative to a stationary housing, said shaft being provided with a groove (3, 13), said groove being spiraled such that during rotation of the shaft the groove will pump fluid from the high-pressure side towards the low-pressure side. The shaft portion provided with the helical groove coacts with an abutting flexible sleeve (6) so that the amount of fluid which is allowed to escape in a controlled manner can be determined.
