A first tubular portion forms a part of a fuel flow passage therein. A first joint surface is formed in one end surface of the first tubular portion. A first inner diameter enlarged portion is formed on a side opposite to the first joint surface. A second tubular portion forms a part of the fuel flow passage therein. A second joint surface is formed in one end surface of the second tubular portion and joined to the first joint surface. A second inner diameter enlarged portion is formed on a side opposite to the second joint surface. A welded portion is formed in an annular shape to extend radially inward from the radially outside of the first joint surface and the second joint surface by welding the first tubular portion and the second tubular portion.

Fuel flow passage member and fuel injection valve including the same

A solenoid valve includes an inner stator and an outer stator that are part of a magnetic circuit. An armature is attracted toward the inner stator when a coil is energized. A spring biases the armature in a direction away from the inner stator. A rod is integrally formed with the armature and integrally reciprocates with the armature. A guide guides reciprocation of the rod. A valve operates by following the rod to open and close a fuel/liquid passage. The spring and sliding portions between the rod and the guide are arranged within a recess portion formed in the inner stator and arranged in parallel to each other while overlapping in the axial direction.

Solenoid valve

A cylinder body includes a cylinder hole and a discharge flow passage. The cylinder hole receives a plunger and forms a pressurizing chamber in one axial end portion thereof. The discharge flow passage is connected to the pressurizing chamber and is adapted to guide and discharge the pressurized fuel from the pressurizing chamber to an outside of the housing. A connection opening of the discharge flow passage is formed in a hole wall of the cylinder hole. A pressure is applied to a predetermined prestressing subject area in the hole wall of the cylinder hole and a passage wall of the discharge flow passage through autofrettage to generate a residual compression stress in the predetermined prestressing subject area and thereby to form a prestressed area of a final product. The prestressing subject area includes an inner peripheral edge of the connection opening.

Fuel supply pump and manufacturing method of housing of the same

A leak recovery groove is formed in a slide clearance between a slidable surface of a cylinder body and a slidable surface of a plunger to recover leaked fuel, which is leaked from a pressurizing chamber. A leak recovery groove direct communication passage is branched from a supply passage, which supplies fuel to the pressurizing chamber, and is connected to the leak recovery groove without passing through the pressurizing chamber to supply the fuel from the supply passage to the leak recovery groove.

Fuel supply pump

In a sliding structure in which a shaft member is retained slidably in a guide hole, the lack of an oil film caused by the edge contact of the shaft member to which a pressing load in the axial direction is applied is prevented. With the fact being taken into account that end portionsand, which are always in slidable contact with a side surfaceof a guide hole, of a side surfaceof a shaft memberare the partial edge portion, a plurality of labyrinth groovesandare formed in the end portionsand, respectively, thereby it is possible for an oil film to cover the entire contact portion without increasing the groove width extremely. Because the groove width is not increased extremely, the length of the sliding portions can be ensured.

Sliding structure for shaft member with improved abrasion resistance and injector

A nozzle needle of a fuel injector is driven in a controlled manner by changing back pressure applied thereto. The back pressure is controlled by a pressure control valve driven by stacked piezoelectric elements. A valve body of the pressure control valve is disposed in a valve chamber having a drain port and a high pressure port which are selectively closed. A diameter D of a drain seat, a diameter D of a high pressure seat, and a diameter D of a piston portion connected to the valve body are set to satisfy a relation: D &gE;D &gE;D . In this manner, operation of the pressure control valve is stabilized, and thereby the fuel injector is smoothly and stably operated.
