A lever fitting-type connector includes a female connector, male connector and lever. The lever includes: a pair of side plates and arranged in parallel to each other, end parts of the side plates and being separated from each other having a distance therebetween; a connecting part for connecting opposite end parts of the side plates and; and fulcrum projections formed at the respective end parts of the side plates and. The lever further includes a flange part formed from an outer edge of the fulcrum projection in an outer peripheral direction. The flange part prevents the fulcrum projections from coming off from a fulcrum projection receiving part.

Lever fitting-type connector

The lever-fitting connector assembly includes a first connector. The first connector includes a first terminals arranged at intervals. The first connector includes a hood enclosing the first terminals. The assembly includes a second connector fitted to the hood. The second connector includes second terminals connected to the first terminals. The second connector includes connector components joined to each other, and having joint surfaces in a fitting direction, respectively. The assembly includes a lever rotatable on one of the first and second connectors to fit to the other one of the first and second connectors. The assembly includes a locking mechanism for locking the connector components with each other. The locking mechanism includes a resilient member contactably and separatably retaining the connector components within a clearance normal to the joint surfaces opposed to each other.

Lever-fitting connector assembly

A connector is provided with a connector housing including one or more terminal housing chambers each including a first open end and a second open end; and one or more terminals each comprising a contact portion at a distal end thereof for contacting the opposite terminal and a solder tail extended from a proximal end thereof. The terminals are respectively housed in the terminal housing chambers with setting the distal ends thereof directed to the first open ends. Each terminal has a length so that the proximal end thereof reaches the same level as or protrudes from the second open end when the terminal is completely housed in the respective terminal housing chamber.

Lever fitting type connector

This invention provides a substrate connector ( ) allowing mating terminals to be inserted into terminal accommodating chambers in the housing main body ( ) from one side or the other side and comprises an insertion guide portion ( ) provided around an installation opening ( ) in the housing main body ( ) and for guiding the mating terminals into the terminal accommodating chambers ( ) when inserting the mating terminals into the terminal accommodating chambers ( ) from the other side of the housing main body ( ).

Substrate connector

In a multi-pole connector formed by combining a plurality of connector housings together, a bolt and a bolt receiving tube are provided at first connector housing, and a frame portion is formed on the second connector housing. The connector housings are combined together, with the frame portion and the bolt receiving tube superimposed together coaxially with each other, so that a bolt guide, formed on a mating multi-pole connector for connection to the multi-pole connector, can be inserted into the frame portion and the bolt receiving tube.

Method of assembling multi-pole connector and multi-pole connector

A lever fitting type connector ( ) has a lever ( ) provided with a rotation fulcrum portion ( ), an application point portion ( ) and an operation portion ( ), which is interposed between a first connector ( ) and a second connector ( ). The rotation fulcrum portion ( ) of the lever ( ) is pivoted in a rotating manner to the first connector ( ). According to this invention, a lever plate has a front contact portion which comes into contact with a front face of a mounting object portion a front contact arm having elasticity and rear contact protrusions coming into contact with a rear face of the mounting object portion. Further, there is provided a centering tongue portion which determines the center in the vertical direction of the connector main body such that it presses an inner peripheral face of the mounting object hole when a connector is inserted into the mounting object hole

Connector supporting mechanism

The lever ( ) can be displaced to another side with respect to a fitting position in a fitting state between the male housing ( ) and the female housing ( ) in a normal state.

Lever type connector

A press-connecting connector ( ) includes a rear holder ( ). The rear holder ( ) is pivotally connected to a housing body ( ) through hinges ( ), and includes slide levers ( B). The slide levers ( B) are engageable in guide spaces ( ), formed in the housing body ( ) and extending in a forward/rearward direction of the connector ( ), and can move in accordance with the pivotal movement of the rear holder ( ).

Press-connecting connector

In a lever-actuated connector, on one end part of a side surface of a connector body ( ) is formed a protruding lever insertion rib ( ), into which an end ( C) of a lever ( ) is inserted, which allows the end ( C) of the lever ( ) to rock, and which extends upwardly and downwardly. An upper rib linking part ( A) that joins opposing walls that surround a lever insertion slit ( ) is formed larger than a lower rib linking part ( B), and an upper through hole ( ) communicates between the upper end surface of the upper rib linking part ( A) and the lever insertion slit ( ). By adopting this configuration, when the lever insertion slit ( ) is formed, die removal is done upwardly and downwardly, and it is not necessary to use a sliding die, thereby simplifying the die construction for the connector body ( ), reducing the cost, and also enabling smooth insertion and fitting together of connectors.

Lever-actuated connector and method for forming a connector body

A joining connector system comprises: one connector having an engaging piece protruded on a connector housing thereof; and another connector having an engaging groove to which the engaging piece fits and which is formed in a connector housing thereof, the joining connector system being joined by sliding the engaging groove and the engaging piece with each other in a sliding direction. In such a structure, a protrusion having a shape tapered toward the sliding direction is provided near an end portion in a side in which a join of the joining connector is finished in the sliding direction, in at least one of the engaging piece and the engaging groove.

Joining connector system

A joining structure of a connector is provided with one connector having a plurality of engaging portions and another connector having the same number of engaging portions as the number of a plurality of engaging portions in one connector, and a plurality of engaging portions in one connector and a plurality of engaging portions in another connector are mutually corresponded so as to form a plurality of engaging pairs. In this structure, a plurality of engaging portions in one connector and a plurality of engaging portions in another connector respectively have shapes so that the respective engaging portions can correspondingly engage with each other so as to form a plurality of engaging pairs in the case that one connector and another connector are joined in a proper direction, and at least one of pairs between a plurality of engaging portions in one connector and a plurality of engaging portions in another connector can not engage with each other in the case that one connector and another connector are joined in an improper direction.
