A case body containing instant photo films includes an exit slot for feeding out one instant photo film after another, and a claw path opening for allowing entry of a claw member ejecting the instant photo films. A pair of thrust preventing flaps is disposed inside the exit slot, for closing the lateral ends of the exit slot to prevent the instant photo film thrusting out. The claw path opening is closed by a light shielding plate and a light shielding skirt, which compose a light shielding member. The light shielding plate is moved to an open position by the claw member in the first advancing operation, and is moved to a full-open position in the second advancing operation.

Instant film pack

A cartridge is composed of a cartridge body and a shutter. A hologram recording disk is rotatably contained in a disk recess formed in the cartridge body. The shutter comprises upper and lower shutter plates between which the cartridge body is interposed. The shutter opens and closes openings formed in both surfaces of the cartridge body. When the shutter is kept in a closed position where the openings are closed, the edges of the shutter are inserted into slits formed around the opening. Further, a groove is formed at an end portion of the shutter. Into the groove, a ridge formed on the cartridge body is inserted.

Cartridge for photosensitive recording medium

An instant film pack includes a plurality of instant photo films. A case contains the instant photo films being stacked. An exit slot is formed in the case, for exiting the instant photo films to an outside of the case one after another. A claw path opening is formed in the case, for receiving insertion of an advancing claw mechanism for advancing the instant photo films by one photo film to move to the exit slot. A thrust preventing flap is disposed on an inside of the exit slot, for closing the exit slot at the middle, to prevent the instant photo films from coming through the exit slot. Furthermore, a light shielding sheet of aluminum foil closes the claw path opening in a light-tight manner, and is released to open the claw path opening upon advance of the advancing claw mechanism.

Instant photographic film pack

A cartridge shell includes a film take-up unit for containing a cassette shell with a rotatable spool and a film supply unit for containing a roll of photo filmstrip one end of which is secured to the spool. Inside the film supply unit, light shielding members are provided in order to prevent an unexposed photo film roll from being exposed. Each of the film take-up unit and the film supply unit has a bridge, and the both bridges are movably fitted into each other. When the photo film cartridge is not used, both of the bridges are completely overlapped each other so that the cartridge shell becomes small in size for convenience of portability.

Photo film cartridge and camera

A film pack is comprised of a case body and plural film units stacked inside the case body. An exposure opening is formed in the front wall of the film pack, and an ejection slit for advancing the film unit out of the film pack is formed in the upper wall. In the ejection slit, front and rear slit edges are confronted with each other. Engaging ridges are provided on the middle of the front slit edge. When external force is applied to the front wall, the engaging ridges press an engaged portion, which is provided in the middle of the rear slit edge. Then, the engaged portion is depressed and engaged with the engaging ridges. Thereby, it is possible to prevent further deformation of the front wall, which causes rupture of a processing fluid pod in the film unit.

Instant photo film pack

An instant photo film pack includes a pack case for containing a stack of ten self-processing photo film units. An outlet slit is formed in the pack case, for exiting an exposed one of the photo film units therethrough. A light-shielding flap has a substantially quadrilateral shape, for closing the outlet slit in a light-tight manner. The light-shielding flap has first, second and third predetermined adhering regions, at least which are coated with adhesive agent and attached to the pack case. The light-shielding flap has first and second longer side lines and first and second shorter side lines. The first adhering region has a linear shape and extends along the first longer side line. The second and third adhering regions have a dot shape, and are disposed respectively at the first and second shorter side lines. The outlet slit is disposed between the second and third adhering regions.

Instant photo film pack and instant camera

A photo film cassette has a spool about which photo film is wound in a roll form. A cassette shell contains the spool in a rotatable manner, and has first and second plastic shell halves joined together via a joining line. A first extended portion is disposed on the first shell half, to project from the joining line toward the second shell half. A first claw is disposed on an end of the first extended portion, to project inwards, and has a first engaging face confronted with the joining line. A securing cutout is formed in the second shell half and disposed close to the joining line, for receiving the first extended portion. A second extended portion is disposed on the second shell half, to project from an edge of the securing cutout, and is extended inwards, and covered by the first extended portion partially. A second claw is disposed on an end of the second extended portion, to project outwards, and retains the first claw to secure the first shell half to the second shell half. The second claw has a second engaging face, which is confronted with the edge of the securing cutout, is fitted on the first engaging face, and keeps the second claw engaged with the first claw. Two ridges project from the second engaging face, are extended in a direction of access of the first claw, and are pushed by the first engaging face. The ridges are deformed partially by the first engaging face, to tighten a contact between the first and second claws.

Photo film cassette and cassette containing case for the same

A photographic film cassette has a rotatable spool on which photographic film is wound. A leader of the photographic film is advanced outward through a passage port by rotation of the spool in an unwinding direction. A shutter rod is arranged in the passage port, and is rotated between closed and open positions. When assuming the closed position, the shutter rod blocks the passage port to shield the ambient light. When the shutter rod assumes the open position, the photographic film is allowed to pass. An externally operable locking lever regulates rotation of the shutter rod, and is swingable with resilience between a locking position, where the shutter rod is locked in the closed position, and an unlocking position, where the shutter rod is unlocked. When the spool is rotated, the lever rotates the shutter rod to the open position. An exposure status indicating device is arranged on an end face of a cassette shell, and has a pointer, which points a plurality of indicative areas and indicates the present status of the photographic film.

Photographic film cassette

A photo film cassette has a cassette shell including first and second shell halves. A spool is rotatable between the shell halves. A trailer of the photo film is retained to the spool. The photo film is wound thereabout in a roll form. A photo film passageway is formed between the shell halves, for passage of the photo film. A shutter is disposed in the photo film passageway in rotatable fashion between open and closed positions to open/close the photo film passageway. A spool lock lever, when the shutter has the closed position, stops the spool from rotating. An indicator plate is secured to one axial end of the spool, for indicating information externally through indicator windows. A partition, disposed inside the cassette shell, defines a photo film chamber and an indicator chamber into which the cassette shell is split. The indicator chamber contains the spool lock lever and the indicator plate in rotatable fashion. A regulating projection is disposed to project on the first shell half and from an inside of the indicator chamber, and prevents the spool lock lever from being inclined toward the indicator plate in the indicator chamber.

Photo film cassette having regulating portion for preventing inclination

A photographic film cassette has a cassette shell which is constituted of a pair of resin molded shell halves joined together to enclose a roll of photographic filmstrip therein. A film passage slot is formed along an axial joint between the shell halves for allowing the photographic filmstrip to advance to the outside of the cassette shell. Two fasteners are disposed on opposite sides of the film passage port for fastening the axial joint. Each fastener is constituted of a hook and a retaining portion which are formed integrally with one and the other shell halves, respectively. The hook is resiliently engaged with the retaining portion, and secured to the retaining portion by ultrasonic welding. In the welded position, the hook presses the retaining portion in a direction to secure the shell halves to each other.

Photo film cassette

A cassette for containing photographic film has a spool which is provided with retaining claws for retaining a trailer of the photographic film. A cassette port communicates the spool chamber to the outside. To load the photographic film into a cassette, a loading apparatus picks up the trailer with an inserter jig. The inserter jig is passed through the passage port, and is brought to the spool so as to insert the trailer into the cassette shell. The trailer is retained on the spool with the retaining claws. The inserter jig is then drawn out of the cassette shell. Then the spool is rotated in order to wind the photographic film around the spool, fully into the cassette shell. To remove exposed photographic film from such a cassette, the photographic film is drawn and unwound. A separator jig, as passed through the passage port, is brought to the spool. The trailer is released from retention on the retaining claws by use of the separator jig. Then the photographic film is drawn out so as to separate the trailer from the spool.

A photographic film cassette comprises a locking member pivotally movable into engagement with a spool to inhibit rotation of the spool. The locking member is moved by a light-shielding door member through a cam. A cam follower surface of the locking member is brought into contact with the cam in the closed position of the light-shielding door member, such that force biasing the light-shielding door member toward the closed position is applied from the locking member to the light-shielding door member in the closed position. The locking member is provided with a hook for engagement with a recessed portion formed in an inner wall of a cassette shell. The hook is engaged with the recessed portion when the locking member is placed in an initial assembled position. Thereafter, the locking member is rotated about the hook from the initial assembled position into a final assembled position where a smaller clearance is provided between the hook and the recessed portion compared with the initial assemble position.
