A relief valve that includes a tube; a valve configured to slide along an inner wall of the tube in an axial direction, and a spring that urges the valve, wherein the valve has a hydraulic pressure receiving surface on a first axial side that is one side in the axial direction, and a spring abutment against which the spring abuts, on a second axial side opposite to the first axial side, and the tube has a discharge oil passage having an opening in the inner wall and extending through the inner wall in a radial direction.

A hydraulic control device that controls a hydraulic pressure for a plurality of friction engagement elements included in an automatic transmission mounted on a vehicle to establish a plurality of shift speeds, including: a plurality of pressure regulation valves, a plurality of hydraulic switches, speed change control means, and abnormality determination means.

Hydraulic control device and abnormality determination method for the same

A spool valve that has a hollow portion formed with an input port, a first output port, and a second output port, and a spool capable of sliding within the hollow portion and having a plurality of lands, the spool valve being configured to distribute output for input to the input port to the first output port and the second output port in accordance with a proportion of distribution that matches a position of the spool. An opening of the second output port is formed in such a shape that a width of the opening becomes gradually smaller in a direction of movement of the spool in which distribution of the output to the first output port is increased.

Spool valve and lubricating oil supply device

A lubricating oil supply device that supplies hydraulic oil used to actuate a vehicle's transmission. The supply device configured with a pump that generates a hydraulic pressure, and a line pressure generation valve that discharges a part of the hydraulic pressure from the pump as a discharge pressure to generate a line pressure for actuating the transmission. A signal pressure output valve that outputs a signal pressure for actuating the line pressure generation valve in accordance with at least a throttle operation amount or torque input to the transmission. Furthermore, a switching valve that is actuated by the signal pressure from the signal pressure output valve and that supplies lubricating oil input to an input port to the object to be lubricated from an output port with a flow rate of the lubricating oil changed.

Lubricating oil supply device

A piston is slidably provided in a cylinder and partitions a first pump chamber, and a second pump chamber connected to an object to be operated. A first on-off valve is provided between the first pump chamber and the outside. A second on-off valve is provided in a connecting flow passage that connects the first pump chamber and the second pump chamber to each other. When the piston is moved forward by an electromagnetic force of a solenoid portion, a capacity of the first pump chamber decreases, and a capacity of the second pump chamber increases. When the piston is moved backward by a biasing force of a spring, the capacity of the first pump chamber increases, and the capacity of the second pump chamber decreases. A pressure receiving area of the front face of the piston is larger than that of the back face thereof.

Electromagnetic pump

A valve section that functions as a solenoid valve device that includes a pressure adjusting section that adjusts fluid pressure supplied from a fluid pressure source; a pump section that sucks and discharges working fluid in a reservoir; and a single solenoid section that drives the pressure adjusting section and the pump section.

Solenoid valve

A hydraulic control device includes a lock-up control valve that regulates a line pressure to generate a control pressure, and a lock-up relay valve that switches between paths through which a hydraulic pressure is supplied to and discharged from a torque converter. The lock-up relay valve is formed to be capable of switching between a path that connects between a control pressure oil passage to which the control pressure is output and a lock-up oil passage communicated with a lock-up oil chamber and that connects between a control pressure oil passage to which the control pressure is output and a circulation input oil passage communicated with a converter oil chamber, and a path that blocks connection between the control pressure oil passage and the lock-up oil passage and that blocks connection between the control pressure oil passage and the circulation input oil passage.

Hydraulic control device

A power transmission device that transmits power from a motor to a wheel via a hydraulically driven friction engagement element and that includes a mechanical pump driven by the motor to produce a hydraulic pressure that is regulated by a pressure regulating valve; an electric pump that produces a hydraulic pressure; a switching mechanism that either switches an output pressure of the regulating valve or an output pressure of the electric pump to a servo of the engagement element based upon a signal pressure; a passage to supply pressure from the mechanical pump to the hydraulic servo; a check valve in the passage that allows supply of the pressure from the mechanical pump to the hydraulic servo and prohibits supply of the pressure from the electric pump to the mechanical pump, and the switching mechanism either shuts off or allows communication through the passage based upon the signal pressure.

Power transmission device

A hydraulic pressure control device including a pump driven to generate hydraulic pressure; a first pressure regulation valve that regulates hydraulic pressure in a first passage coupled to a pump along with discharge of oil; a second pressure regulation valve that receives the hydraulic pressure in the first passage and regulates the hydraulic pressure to an engagement pressure to engage a lock-up clutch according to a first signal pressure to output the engagement pressure to a second passage that supplies the oil to an engagement chamber; and a third pressure regulation valve that receives the hydraulic pressure in the first passage or the engagement pressure output to the second passage and regulates the received pressure according to the first signal pressure or a second signal pressure that synchronizes with the first signal pressure to output the resulting pressure to a third passage that supplies the oil to the disengagement chamber.

Hydraulic pressure control device

A power transmission device that transmits power from a motor to a wheel via a hydraulically driven friction engagement element and that includes a mechanical pump driven by the motor to produce a hydraulic pressure that is regulated by a pressure regulating valve; an electric pump that produces a hydraulic pressure; a switching mechanism that either switches an output pressure of the regulating valve or an output pressure of the electric pump to a servo of the engagement element based upon a signal pressure, and a drain valve that opens to drain oil when a hydraulic pressure of a preset pressure or more is applied, and the switching mechanism connects to the drain valve to allow communication between the electric pump and the drain valve in the first state, and shut off communication between the electric pump and the drain valve.

A fluid pressure control device for an automatic transmission that transfers power from a motor via a friction engagement element, including: a first pump actuated by the power from the motor; a pressure regulator that regulates pressure of a working fluid pumped from the first pump; a first flow passage connected to an output port of the pressure regulator; a second flow passage connected to a fluid pressure chamber of the friction engagement element; a switcher that establishes and blocks connection between the first flow passage and the second flow passage; a second pump actuated by supply of electric power and capable of supplying the working fluid to the second flow passage with connection between the first flow passage and the second flow passage blocked by the switcher; and a pressure accumulator that accumulates pressure of the working fluid. The pressure accumulator is connected to the first flow passage.

Fluid pressure control device for automatic transmission

A hydraulic control apparatus for an automatic transmission has a circulating oil supply passage that supplies circulating oil to a starting apparatus, a circulating oil discharge passage that discharges circulating oil from the starting apparatus, and a speed change mechanism oil supply passage that supplies oil to a speed change mechanism. The oil discharged from an oil pump is supplied to the starting apparatus and the speed change mechanism. A first flow rate changing device that can change the flow rate of the circulating oil is arranged in the circulating oil discharge passage. A first flow rate instructing portion output a command to the flow rate changing device to change the flow rate when the amount of oil discharged from the oil pump is low, and reduces the flow rate to the starting apparatus, which enables the hydraulic pressure necessary for shifting to be obtained in the speed change mechanism.

Hydraulic control apparatus for automatic transmission

A control device for an automatic transmission that outputs a command signal to an actuator to control the automatic transmission. The control device configured with a main control section that receives a state of the automatic transmission, that determines an abnormality in the automatic transmission on the basis of the input state of the automatic transmission, and that outputs to the actuator a main control section command signal for controlling the automatic transmission so as to establish a predetermined shift speed when it is determined that an abnormality is occurring in the automatic transmission; and a monitoring section that determines an abnormality in the main control section and that outputs to the actuator a monitoring section command signal for causing the automatic transmission to establish a neutral state irrespective of the main control section command signal when it is determined that an abnormality is occurring in the main control section.

Control device for automatic transmission

A hydraulic pressure controller, which controls hydraulic pressure supplied to a torque converter including a lock-up clutch that is engageable using a hydraulic pressure from a mechanical pump, including a first pressure regulation valve that regulates pressure in a first passage connected to the pump while discharging oil in the first passage to a discharge passage; a bypass passage branched from the first passage bypassing the first pressure regulation valve; a first switching valve selectively switchable between a first state in which the bypass passage and a second passage are connected to each other and a second state in which the discharge passage and the second passage are connected to each other; and a second pressure regulation valve that regulates a hydraulic pressure in the second passage. The first switching valve is switchable into the first state to engage the clutch and into the second state to disengage the clutch.

An automatic transmission including an input shaft connected to a drive source; an output shaft connected to a driving wheel; a one-way clutch; friction engagement elements which establish speeds by changing a transmission path between the input shaft and the output shaft based on the application state of the friction engagement elements and application of the one-way clutch, one of the friction engagement elements being a brake that is applied when coasting in a take-off speed. The automatic transmission also includes a controller that determines whether it is possible to initially establish the take-off speed using the one-way clutch based on a predetermined condition, and, if not possible, then the controller establishes the take-off speed by applying the brake.
