A vehicle differential apparatus including a pair of side gears arranged side by side along an axial line, a set of pinion gears disposed on a radial outside of the side gears so as to engage with the side gears and engaged with each other, and a housing forming a housing space of the pinion gears to rotate integrally with the pinion gears. Each of the side gears includes an inner and outer side gears, the inner and outer side gears include a first and second splines extended along helical gears formed on an outer and inner circumferential surfaces of the inner and outer side gears, respectively, and engaging with each other, and the helical gear of the first spline is formed so as to be crowned along a tooth trace thereof.

Vehicle differential apparatus

Provided is a hydraulic power transmission device enabling to minimize a pressure loss in an oil passage downstream from a piston chamber of a hydraulic clutch, and to properly prevent reduction in transmission torque capacity in the hydraulic clutch. Left and right pressure regulating valves (L,R) regulating pressure of oil flowing out from piston chambers (L,R) of left and right clutch devices (L,R) are arranged adjacent to a downstream of the piston chamber (). This can shorten an oil passage from the piston chamber () to the pressure regulating valve () and minimize pressure loss in the oil passage. Due to better flexibility of arrangement of the pressing load receiving member () receiving a pressing force (thrust) of the piston member (), thrust efficiency of the hydraulic piston () improves to properly prevent reduction in transmission torque capacity in the hydraulic clutch ().

Hydraulic power transmission device

A drive force transmission device provided in a vehicle includes a rotating shaft, a gear chamber, a first clutch chamber, a hydraulic oil supplier, an oil reservoir, and an oil temperature sensor. The rotating shaft extends in an axial direction and is rotatable around the axial direction to transmit a drive force to left and right drive wheels of the vehicle. The gear chamber houses a gear via which the drive force is to be transmitted to the rotating shaft. The drive force transmission device has a first side and a second side opposite to the first side with respect to the gear chamber in the axial direction. The first clutch chamber is disposed on the first side and houses a clutch that is to distribute the drive force transmitted from the rotating shaft to the left or right drive wheels.

Drive force transmission device

In a power transmission system, a ring gear of a first speed reducer and a ring gear of a second speed reducer are coupled to each other and have the same rotational axis. An engagement portion between the ring gear and a planetary gear is formed such that, when a first motor generates a rotational torque in the forward direction, a force acts on the ring gear in a direction approaching the second speed reducer in the rotational axis direction. An engagement portion between the ring gear and a planetary gear is formed such that, when a second motor generates a rotational torque in the forward direction, a force acts on the ring gear of the second speed reducer in a direction of approaching the first speed reducer in the rotational axis direction.
