The in-vehicle camera comprises a lens barrel; a circuit board on which an image processing circuit is mounted, the image processing circuit performing image processing to recognize a subject from video signals; and a housing which includes an intake vent and an exhaust vent and accommodates therein the circuit board such that the image processing circuit and the lens barrel are away from each other in the left-right direction. The in-vehicle camera is configured such that a ventilation passage connecting the intake vent and an exhaust vent is formed between an inner face on a side of the installation face of the housing and the circuit board in a path that is away from the lens barrel and passes through a region in which the image processing circuit is disposed.

In-vehicle camera

A camera and a bracket are configured to form: a snap-fit joint mechanism that establishes a snap-fit joint therebetween; a pressing mechanism that performs pressing, by way of a snap-fit claw, in a direction in which an interval between a mounting face and an opposite face is increased; and a holding mechanism that holds the interval between the opposite face and the mounting face against that pressing; wherein, on the snap-fit claw, a sub engagement face is created which has an inclination with respect to an insertion direction that is less than that of a main engagement face and serves to convert a part of a force at the pressing to a force in the insertion direction.

A power control apparatus for an in-vehicle camera includes a temperature sensor which measures the temperature in a camera unit; a temperature data acquisition section which acquires periodically measured temperature data; a predicted temperature calculation section which calculates a temperature gradient from the acquired temperature data group and, based on the temperature gradient, calculates a future predicted camera unit temperature; a power supply section which supplies power to an image processing section; a temperature determination section which determines whether predicted temperature is within an operation guarantee temperature of camera unit component parts; and a power supply control section which, based on a determination result, issues a control command to start or stop power supply to the component parts from the power supply section, the power supply being started or stopped with appropriate timing using the predicted temperature, thereby enabling expeditious protection of the component parts when at high temperature.

The radiation-direction changing and maintaining portion includes: a linear-movement generator, which is provided on a surface of a wave energy radiating portion opposite to a surface of the wave energy radiating portion from which the wave energy is radiated, and is configured to generate power required to change the direction of radiation of the wave energy radiating portion linearly along the wave energy radiating portion; a direction changer, which is provided so as to face the linear-movement generator, and is configured to change a direction of the power generated by the linear-movement generator toward the wave energy radiating portion to turn the wave energy radiating portion; and a force applying member configured to apply a force to the wave energy radiating portion in a direction against the turning of the wave energy radiating portion, which is caused by the power.

Wave energy radiating apparatus

Provided is a wave energy radiating apparatus capable of downsizing with a simple structure. The wave energy radiating apparatus includes a radiation-direction changing and maintaining unit including a linear-movement generator () where wave energy is radiated, and is configured to generate power required to change a direction of radiation of the wave energy radiating unit () linearly along the wave energy radiating unit (), a direction changer () configured to change a direction of the power generated by the linear-movement generator () toward the wave energy radiating unit () to turn the wave energy radiating unit (), and a force applying member () configured to apply a force to the wave energy radiating unit () in a direction against the turning of the wave energy radiating unit (), which is caused by the power.

An ultrasonic sensor, which can prevent a breakdown caused by the infiltration of water from the outside occurring due to the jet of high-pressure wash water or the like without the deterioration of the sensitivity of an ultrasonic transducer within the range of the fixing-clamping caused by an elastic member, is obtained. The ultrasonic sensor includes a cylindrical sensor case, an ultrasonic transducer that is disposed close to an opening face in the sensor case and includes a vibration surface, and an elastic member that is provided between the ultrasonic transducer and the sensor case and covers a side surface and a bottom of the ultrasonic transducer. An exposed surface end of the elastic member close to the opening face is formed to be thinner than a portion of the elastic member that covers the side surface of the ultrasonic transducer.

Ultrasonic sensor

Provided is an electronic device capable of preventing stress from being generated in each of joining portions of electronic circuit components joined to a printed circuit board, thereby preventing breakage in each of the joining portions. The electronic device includes a printed circuit board (), and a housing having the printed circuit board () received therein. A rubber packing (), which is interposed between a case main body () and a cover (), is elastically compressed due to a fastening force of case-and-cover fastening screws () so that a packing main body () hermetically seals an inside of the housing. Packing projecting portions () of the rubber packing () press circuit-board protruding portions (), to thereby hold the printed circuit board () inside the housing.

Electronic device

Openings are formed by removing part of a ground conductor, and a differential signal line including signal line conductors is configured with some of the openings. In addition, a metal block is mounted thereon to cover the opening to thus configure a waveguide using the metal block and ground conductor as wall surfaces. A planar circuit to waveguide transition according to the above can achieve traveling wave conversions from a waveguide mode to a slot mode, and from the slot mode to a differential mode without utilizing resonance, which makes it possible to align a dominant direction of an electric field by the three ones; thus, a wider bandwidth can be expected. Thus, the wider bandwidth can be achieved with a simple layer structure.
