A liquid jet head has a jetting portion with nozzles for jetting a liquid that is contained in a liquid container. A liquid storing portion is disposed in a conduit that interconnects the liquid storing portion and the jetting portion and that supplies the liquid in a liquid container to the jetting portion through operation of a pump. The liquid storing portion is configured to dampen fluctuations in the pressure in the conduit. A pressure sensor is disposed in the conduit for measuring a pressure in the conduit. The operation of the pump for supplying the liquid in the liquid container to the jetting portion is controlled based on a value of the pressure measured by the pressure measuring means so that the pressure of the liquid supplied from the conduit to the jetting portion is within a predetermined pressure range.

Liquid ejection head, carriage unit, pressure control method, and liquid ejection recording apparatus

A liquid jet head has an actuator with grooves arranged on a surface of a substrate. The actuator is configured to discharge liquid from nozzles communicating with respective ones of the grooves. A flow path member supplies the liquid to the grooves of the actuator. A damper member is provided between the actuator and the flow path member for coupling the actuator and the flow path member to each other. The damper member is bonded with an adhesive to each of the actuator and the flow path member.

Liquid jet head and liquid jet apparatus

To print an excellent image formed without distortion or image failure by mitigating irregularities, inclination, or the like of an installation floor surface. In an ink jet recording apparatus including an ink jet recording apparatus main body and a leg portion, a deformation absorbing member is interposed in a joint portion between the ink jet recording apparatus main body and the leg portion. Therefore, even if there are the irregularities, the inclination, or the like on a floor surface to which the ink jet recording apparatus is installed, it is possible to ensure leveling of a print surface in the ink jet recording apparatus main body, thereby being capable of obtaining the excellent image without the distortion or the image failure.

Ink jet recording apparatus

A liquid jet recording apparatus adjusts the pressure of liquid jetted from a jetting portion toward a recording medium. The liquid jet recording apparatus has a pressure sensor provided in a tube between a liquid storing portion and a roller tube pump. The pressure of the liquid which flows through the tube is measured, and a pressure value is sent to a control portion. The pressure value is compared with lower limit values and upper limit values stored in a definition file stored in the control portion, and a corresponding drive signal is sent to a drive portion to drive the roller tube pump in a forward or a reverse direction to adjust the pressure of the liquid in the jetting portion.

Liquid jet recording apparatus, liquid jet head unit, and liquid jet recording method

A liquid jet recording apparatus includes a liquid container that contains liquid, a jetting portion disposed at a lower level than the surface of the liquid contained in the liquid container for jetting the liquid, and a conduit for communicating the jetting portion with the liquid container. An on-off valve opens or closes the conduit to permit or block the flow of the liquid in the conduit. A liquid storing portion damps pressure fluctuations of the liquid which flows in the conduit and is disposed in the conduit between the on-off valve and the jetting portion. A pressure sensor measures the pressure of the liquid in the conduit, and a control portion controls the on-off valve to be opened or closed based on a pressure value measured by the pressure sensor.

Liquid jet recording apparatus and liquid jet recording method

A rolled body holder includes a center shaft member serving as a lead screw connected to a handle, a cam member screwed to the center shaft member, and a plurality of segments which form a cylindrical body covering the center shaft member and the cam member. The cam member includes a plurality of rails, and each of the rails includes a cam surface with a radially varying height. Each of the segments includes a follower part fitted to the rail and relatively slidable along the cam surface and an outer surface part on which multiple projections are formed. When the cylindrical body is inserted into a paper tube of a rolled body and the handle is rotated, the center shaft member is rotated to move the cam member in the longitudinal direction. Then, a portion of the cam surface, which is higher in the radial direction, is brought into contact with the follower part, and each of the segments extends in the radial direction so that the projections bite into an inner surface of the paper tube. As a result, the rolled body can be easily and securely held with a simple structure.

Rolled body holder and recording apparatus

A planar metal platen opposes an ink jet recording head for ejecting solvent-based ink and is secured through supporting members formed of polyphenylene sulfide containing glass fibers to a metal frame under a state not touching the frame directly. The platen is fixed with a heater for drying ink on a recording medium on the platen quickly. Each supporting member is secured to the frame by means of a bolt penetrating an elongated hole, and a relative position of the supporting member and the platen supported by the member, and the frame and the ink jet recording head supported by the frame, can be adjusted by shifting the position of the bolt in the elongated hole. Consequently, transmission of heat from the heater to the platen is suppressed and good recording is ensured by suppressing partial temperature difference of the platen.

Ink jet recorder

An image forming apparatus that can perform stable sheet conveying for a medium that has low tear-resistance, easily sticks to something and is difficult to convey. Therefore, sheet conveying means is controlled, so that during a sheet conveying operation for each path, after a sheet has been conveyed, reverse feeding is performed to release sticking, and sheet feeding is thereafter completed.

Image forming apparatus

A cleaning roller system, which is preferable for use in a printer having a printing head, is disclosed. The cleaning roller system comprises an adhesive roller which is provided on a recording material feeding side relative to a print head, the adhesive roller has adhesive property, and is in contact with a surface of said recording material, and rotates in a direction of transporting said recording material.
