A control device for a four-wheel steering vehicle including a steering wheel, a front wheel steering device, and a rear wheel steering device, and operating the front wheel steering device and the rear wheel steering device, wherein first steering and second steering are continuously performed, and when the rear wheels are steered in the direction opposite to the steering direction of the front wheels, the absolute value of the steered angle velocity of the front wheels to be steered is higher than the first threshold, and the absolute value of the steered angle velocity of the front wheels to be steered in response to the second steering is higher than the second threshold, the steering of the rear wheels corresponding to the second steering is restricted.

Control device for four-wheel steering vehicle

A steering system includes a controller configured to: execute a normal control to control a front-wheel steering device or a rear-wheel steering device based on a target steering angle when a steering-related frequency is determined to fall outside a resonance frequency band; and execute a limiting control when the steering-related frequency is determined to fall within the resonance frequency band. In the limiting control, the controller controls the front-wheel or rear-wheel steering device such that (i) an actual steering angle is constant at a predetermined value, (ii) an absolute value of the actual steering angle gradually decreases from a specific value, (iii) a frequency of the actual steering angle falls outside the resonance frequency band, or (iv) the absolute value of the actual steering angle is less than an absolute value of the latest value of a target extreme value that is an extreme value of the target steering angle.

Steering system

A steering control apparatus comprises an environment sensor for detecting a condition around a vehicle; and a controller for controlling turning of a front wheel and turning of a rear wheel, wherein the controller is configured to: calculate a total steering angle which is a steering angle required for causing the vehicle to travel along a target path, based on at least a detection result of the environment sensor; turn the front wheel based on a front wheel target steering angle; and turn the rear wheel based on a rear wheel target steering angle that is a subtraction value obtained by subtracting the front wheel target steering angle from the total steering angle.

Steering control apparatus

The steering control system of a steer-by-wire vehicle includes a turning angle calculation unit for calculating a target turning angle based on a steering angle of a steering wheel, and a reaction torque calculation unit for calculating a target reaction torque based on a state of the vehicle. When an alert request is issued, the reaction torque calculation unit calculates a basic reaction torque based on the steering angle, calculates an alert reaction torque for notifying a vehicle state, and calculates the target reaction torque obtained by summing the basic reaction torque and the alert reaction torque. In a process of calculating the target turning angle from the steering angle, the turning angle calculation unit calculates the target turning angle by excluding a steering angle or a turning angle corresponding to the alert reaction torque.

Steering control system

A vehicle running control system includes: a steering apparatus that includes a turning device being mechanically separated from a steering wheel; a vehicle drive unit; and a control device. The control device is configured to execute: a turning processing that controls the turning device such that an actual turning angle of the wheel approaches a target turning angle; a vehicle driving processing that determines a target vehicle driving force according to a required vehicle driving force based on a vehicle driving request and that controls the vehicle drive unit so as to cause an actual vehicle driving force to the target vehicle driving force determined; and where a turning angle difference is greater than a turning angle threshold value in a low vehicle speed condition, a driving force limiting processing that limits the target vehicle driving force so as to become smaller than the required vehicle driving force.

Vehicle running control system

In a controller for a steering device, the steering device includes a structure where motive power transmission between a steering unit and a turning unit is separated. The controller includes a control circuit configured to control operation of a steering-side motor that is provided in the steering unit to give steering reaction force that is force against the steering input into the steering unit. In a case where turning of the turning wheels to one direction is restricted, the control circuit is configured to calculate restriction reaction force for restricting steering that is to turn the turning wheels to the one direction. The control circuit is configured to calculate the restriction reaction force based on information on the steering unit.

Controller for steering device

A steer-by-wire system includes a steering reaction torque generation device mechanically separated from a turning device for turning wheels and configured to apply a reaction torque to a steering wheel. The steering reaction torque generation device has a duplex configuration including a first system and a second system, each system including a reaction torque motor. When both systems are normal, a control device generates the reaction torque having a normal characteristic by controlling an operation of the reaction torque motor of at least one system. In a case of single failure where one of the systems fails, the control device generates the reaction torque having a first characteristic by controlling an operation of the reaction torque motor of another of the systems. The reaction torque having the first characteristic is different from the reaction torque having the normal characteristic with respect to a same steering angle.

Steer-by-wire system

A steering control system includes a steering-motor for turning wheels, a reaction-force-motor for applying a reaction torque to a steering of the vehicle, and a controller. The controller calculates a turning angle based on a first-characteristic representing a relationship of the turning angle to a steering angle, and calculates a reaction torque based on a second-characteristic representing a relationship of a reaction torque to the steering angle. The controller changes the first-characteristic from a characteristic corresponding to a first-state to a characteristic corresponding to a second-state in response to a change in the state of the vehicle from the first-state to the second-state. The controller maintains the second-characteristic at the characteristic corresponding to the first-state when the state of the vehicle changes from the first-state to the second-state in the case where the steering angle is steered to a steering limit corresponding to an upper limit of the turning angle.

A controller includes a control circuit configured to calculate a target corresponding steered angle that is a target value of a corresponding steered angle based on the transmission ratio associated with the vehicle speed. The corresponding steered angle is a rotation angle of a rotation shaft, which is convertible to the steered angle whose magnitude is changed relative to a value indicating the steering angle. The control circuit is configured to control the actuation of the motor so that an actual corresponding steered angle is a final target corresponding steered angle that is based on the target corresponding steered angle. The control circuit is configured to calculate the target corresponding steered angle by adjusting the transmission ratio based on a value indicating acceleration or deceleration of a vehicle.

Controller for steering system and method for controlling steering system

In a motor temperature estimating device including: a polyphase motorhaving a first phase coil, a second phase coil and a third phase coil; current sensors; a determination section that determines whether or not the polyphase motor is rotating; and a transformation section that transforms a first phase output signal from the first phase current sensor, a second phase output signal from the second phase current sensor, and a third phase output signal from the third phase current sensor to output a post-transformation output signal, the post-transformation output signal is inputted to a first temperature estimation section that estimates the temperature of the polyphase motor during rotation, and the first phase output signal, the second phase output signal and the third phase output signal are inputted to a second temperature estimation section that estimates the temperature of the polyphase motor during stop.

Motor temperature estimating device

Left and right stabilizer bars are provided between left and right wheels of a vehicle. A control unit controls an actuator to control a rotation angle of the right stabilizer bar with respect to the left stabilizer bar. The control unit determines whether the vehicle is moving, whether a vehicle speed is less than a first threshold value, and whether a vehicle state is in transition from a moving state to a stopped state. A detection unit detects a control amount of the actuator. When the vehicle is moving, the vehicle speed is less than the first threshold value, the vehicle state is in transition from the moving state to the stopped state, and the control amount of the actuator is greater than zero, the control unit decreases the control amount of the actuator such that the control amount of the actuator becomes zero before the vehicle speed becomes zero.

Stabilizer control device

A device for controlling a steering transmission ratio variable device, which is provided with: a motor, which is able to apply a driving force that promotes relative rotation between a steering output shaft coupled to wheels to be turned and a steering input shaft that applies a steering input to the steering output shaft to one of either the steering output shaft or the steering input shaft; a motor driving device that drives the motor; and a locking device that is able to restrict the relative rotation, has a setting device that prescribes a drive voltage the motor and sets a damping gain, which acts in a direction that reduces a rotating speed of the motor, to a value that is larger than a reference value corresponding to an unlocked state during a locking control period in which a state of the steering transmission ratio variable device switches from an unlocked state in which the relative rotation is not restricted to a locked state in which the relative rotation is restricted.

Control device for steering transmission ratio variable device

A fuel injection valve 15 is disposed in an intake passage 9 of an engine body 1. A combustion chamber 5 communicates with the intake passage 9 for introducing fuel injected from the fuel injection valve 15 at predetermined intake timings. A plurality of sensors are provided in the engine body 1 or fuel intake system for detecting various engine operational conditions including properties of fuel. A control unit 30 calculates a fuel quantity-of-state in the combustion chamber 5 in accordance with the engine operational conditions detected by the sensors, using an atomized fuel behavioral model representing behavior of fuel injected from the fuel injection valve 15, an intake passage fuel behavioral model representing fuel behavior in the intake passage 9 and a combustion chamber fuel behavioral model representing fuel behavior in the combustion chamber 5. Furthermore, the control unit 30 calculates a fuel injection amount required to adjust an actual gaseous air-fuel ratio in the combustion chamber 5 to a desired value in accordance with the fuel quantity-of-state thus calculated. The control unit 30 uses a cranking model as the combustion chamber fuel behavioral model before an initial explosion is detected and uses a firing model after the initial explosion is detected. The fuel injection valve 15 is opened or closed on the basis of the fuel injection amount thus calculated.
