It is aimed to satisfactorily correct the position of a lock arm. A connector () is provided with a first housing (), female terminal fittings () to be inserted into the first housing () from behind, a second housing () to be connected to the first housing (), a lock arm () provided at the first housing () and displaceable to a lock position where the first and second housings () are locked in a connected state by the lock arm locking the second housing () and a lock releasing position where separation of the first and second housings () is enabled by releasing the locking, and a correcting portion () arranged to face a surface on an unlocking direction side of the lock arm () in the connected state.

It is aimed to achieve a height reduction. A connector (F) is provided with a female terminal fitting () and a housing (). The female terminal fitting () includes a tab inserting portion (), into which a tab () of a male terminal fitting () is inserted, and a first resilient contact piece () exposed on an outer surface of the tab inserting portion () and configured to resiliently contact the tab (). The housing () includes a terminal accommodation chamber () for accommodating the tab inserting portion (). A deflection allowance space () for allowing a resilient displacement of the resilient contact piece () is formed within a thickness range of an upper wall portion () defining the terminal accommodation chamber (), out of the housing ().

Connector

A card edge connector is provided with a housing, a receptacle to be mounted on an end part of a circuit board and fit to the housing, a connection terminal including a resilient contact piece to be brought into contact with a surface of the circuit board and a pressure receiving portion, and a pressure holding member to be mounted into the housing and including a pressing portion for pressing the pressure receiving portion. The receptacle includes an inclined portion, along which the pressure holding member is displaced to increase a pressing stroke of the pressing portion for the pressure receiving portion as the housing is further fit into the receptacle. The resilient contact piece is displaced toward a board accommodating portion for accommodating the circuit board and contacts the surface of the circuit board while pressing the surface of the circuit board as the pressing stroke increases.

It is aimed to prevent a reduction in connection reliability. A terminal fitting is to be mounted into a housing having a board accommodation space and is provided with a connection terminal including a resilient contact piece to be brought into contact with a circuit board inserted into the board accommodation space and a protection terminal separate from the connection terminal and attached to the connection terminal. The connection terminal is movable with respect to the protection terminal between a protection position where the resilient contact piece is accommodated in the protection terminal and a connection position where the resilient contact piece is exposed to outside of the protection terminal to be contactable with the circuit board.

Terminal fitting

A circuit board () is arranged in a receptacle (). A housing () having an accommodation space () is fit into the receptacle (). A protecting member () is arranged movably to an initial position and a connection position in the housing (). A terminal fitting () includes a contact point portion () facing the accommodation space (). The protecting member () includes a body portion () to be located on an opening side of the accommodation space () at the initial position and retracted from the opening side of the accommodation space () at the connection position, and a hooked portion () connected to an end part of the body (). The receptacle () includes a hooking portion () on an inner surface for moving the protecting member () from the connection position to the initial position by hooking the hooked portion ().

Card edge connector

A connector device is provided with a first connector to be mounted on a first circuit board and a second connector to be mounted on a second circuit board. The first connector includes a plurality of first terminal unit each formed such that a first inner conductor is surrounded by a first outer conductor. The second connector includes a plurality of second terminal units facing the plurality of first terminal units and a plurality of movable terminal units. The second terminal unit is formed such that a second inner conductor is surrounded by a second outer conductor. The movable terminal unit is swingable with the second terminal unit as a fulcrum. A tip part of the movable terminal unit is connectable to the first terminal unit. The plurality of movable terminal units are coupled to swing integrally by an alignment member.

Connector device

A connector is provided with a connecting member including a contact point portion, a housing for holding the connecting member and a protecting member displaceable with respect to the connecting member to a protection position for protecting the contact point portion and a connection position for bringing the contact point portion into contact with a circuit board. The housing includes a lock portion for holding the protecting member at the protection position.

Board connecting connector

A card edge connector includes: a housing including a board accommodation space and a connection terminal including a resilient contact piece configured to contact a circuit board inserted into the board accommodation space, the connection terminal being mounted into the housing. The connection terminal is movable between a connection position where the resilient contact piece is in contact with a surface of the circuit board and a retraction position where the resilient contact piece is separated from the circuit board. A first interference preventing portion and a second interference preventing portion are formed between a moving path of the resilient contact piece and the board accommodation space. The first interference preventing portion and the second interference preventing portion restrict the interference of the resilient contact piece and an inserting end part of the circuit board inserted into the board accommodation space in a moving process of the connection terminal.

Card edge connector preventing a reduction in connection reliability

It is aimed to reduce connection resistance between a female housing and a male housing without causing the settling of a resilient contact piece of a female terminal fitting. A female connector (F) includes a female housing () configured to accommodate female terminal fittings () and to be connected to a male housing (), and a movable portion () displaceable between a terminal deforming position where resilient contact pieces () are resiliently deformed away from male terminal fittings () and a releasing position where the movable portion is disengaged from the resilient contact pieces (). As the connection of the female housing () and the male housing () proceeds, a retainer-side slide-contact portion () slides in contact with male-side slide-contact portions () and the movable portion () is displaced from the releasing position to the terminal deforming position.

Connector having a movable member

It is aimed to realize space saving. A female connector includes female terminal fittings to be connected to male terminal fittings, a female housing for accommodating the female terminal fittings and a retainer displaceable between a terminal deformation position where the female terminal fittings are deformed and a release position where the retainer is separated from the female terminal fittings. The female terminal fitting includes a resilient contact piece for resiliently contacting the male terminal fitting. The retainer resiliently deforms the resilient contact pieces away from the male terminal fittings at the terminal deformation position.

Female connector and connector

It is aimed to reduce cost. A female connector (F) includes a female housing () to be connected to a male housing (), a lock functioning portion () provided on the female housing () and configured to lock the female housing () and the male housing () in a connected state by being locked to the male housing (), and a releasing member () attachable to and detachable to the female housing (), the releasing member being a component separate from the female housing (). The releasing member () can displace the lock functioning portion () to disengage the lock functioning portion () from the male housing () while being mounted on the female housing ().

It is aimed to prevent the damage and deformation of a terminal fitting. A connector is provided with a housing including a terminal accommodation chamber, and a terminal fitting including a tube portion and a resilient contact piece accommodated in the tube portion, the terminal fitting being inserted into the terminal accommodation chamber. A front wall portion of the housing is formed with a tab insertion hole into which a tab (T) of a mating terminal is inserted to enter the tube portion from front and contact the resilient contact piece. A left front plate portion is formed forward of the resilient contact piece in the terminal fitting. The front wall portion of the housing is formed with a detection hole open separately from the tab insertion hole. The detection hole is disposed at a position facing the left front plate portion in the front wall portion.

It is aimed to improve a holding force for holding a retainer on a housing. A female connector (F) includes a female housing (), female terminal fittings () to be inserted into the female housing () from behind, and a retainer () mounted on the female housing (). The retainer () is movable in a direction intersecting an inserting direction of the female terminal fittings () between a partial locking position where insertion of the female terminal fittings () into the female housing () is allowed and a full locking position where the female terminal fittings () inserted into the female housing () are retained. The female housing () is formed with displacement restricting portions (). The retainer () is formed with hooking portions () capable of coming into contact with the displacement restricting portions () from front when the retainer () is at the full locking position.

It is aimed to prevent the interference of an external matter with an operating portion of a lock arm. A female connector () includes a female housing (), female terminal fittings () to be inserted into the female housing () from behind, and a retainer () to be mounted into the female housing (). The female housing () includes a lock arm () having a rear end part serving as an operating portion () for unlocking, and the retainer () is formed with a covering portion () for covering at least a part of the operating portion ().

It is aimed to provide a connector capable of properly exhibiting functions of a detection piece. A connector is provided with a housing () including a cavity (), a terminal fitting () to be inserted into the cavity () from behind and including a tubular box portion () having open front and rear surfaces, a tab () of a mating terminal fitting () being inserted into the box portion () from front, and a retainer () to be mounted into the housing () and including a detection piece () capable of coming into contact with a rear end of the box portion (). The detection piece () includes a recess () for avoiding interference with the tab () passed through the box portion ().
