A method for a dual-bearing reel includes detecting a rotational speed of a spool rotatably mounted to a reel unit, a fishing line to be wound about the spool, controlling a spool brake to brake the spool with a first braking force when a detected tension that acts on the fishing line is equal to a reference tension controlling the spool brake to brake the spool with a braking force obtained by correcting the first braking force based on a second braking force when the detected tension and the reference tension are different from each other, the second braking force positively or negatively correcting the first braking force by increasing or decreasing the first braking force, and performing a decrease processing of decreasing the second braking force with the elapse of time when the second braking force has been determined to fluctuate with a predetermined amplitude or greater.

Spool brake device for dual-bearing reel

A bicycle electrical system diagnostic device is provided for a bicycle electrical system in which several electric devices are connected. The diagnostic device includes a connecting section and an electric device recognizing section. The connecting section is configured to be connected to and disconnected from the electrical system. The electric device recognizing section is configured to communicate with the electrical system and recognize any of the electric devices while the connecting section is electrically connected to anyone of the electric devices.

Socket for light-emitting diode lamp

A lamp socket receives an LED lamp provided with an L-shaped pin having a contact piece and an extension piece extending from a tip of the contact piece. The lamp socket includes a socket body having an insertion hole at its front surface and a conductive plate. The conductive plate has one surface facing an axis of the insertion hole and a first space is formed between the other surface of the conductive plate and an inner surface of the socket body. A second space is formed between a bottom surface of the socket body and the conductive plate. A third space, or rotation space, is formed between the first space and the bottom surface. When the pin is inserted via the insertion hole and the LED lamp is rotated, the contact piece comes in contact with the conductive plate and the extension piece passes through the rotation space.

Lamp socket

A bicycle communication adapter is provided with a voltage converting component, a signal converting component and a superimposing component. The voltage converting component is configured to convert a received voltage supplied from a bicycle electrical management system to a converted voltage suitable for at least one of a plurality of electric devices of a bicycle electrical system. The signal converting component is configured to convert a received signal outputted from a bicycle electrical management system into a converted signal compliant with a standard for power line communication. The superimposing component is configured to superimpose the converted signal converted by the signal converting component onto the converted voltage converted by the voltage converting component.

Bicycle communication adapter

A waterproof socket includes a socket body having an insertion hole to which a lamp pin protruding from an end cap of a straight tube lamp is inserted, a first internal sleeve making contact with the socket body, and a second internal sleeve. The socket body includes a body-side rotation restraint portion engaging with a sleeve-side rotation restraint portion formed in the first internal sleeve to restrain the first internal sleeve from rotating about a center axis of the straight tube lamp. The first internal sleeve includes a first position restraint portion and the second internal sleeve includes a second position restraint portion engaging with the first position restraint portion to restrain the second internal sleeve from rotating about the center axis while allowing the second internal sleeve to move in an axial direction of the straight tube lamp.

In a gas discharge display apparatus, a dielectric layer overlies the row electrode pairs provided between the opposing front and back glass substrates placed across the discharge space. A protective layer for the dielectric layer includes a crystalline MgO layer that has a property causing a cathode-luminescence emission having a peak within a wavelength range of 200 nm to 300 nm upon excitation by electron beams. A red phosphor layer generating visible light by being excited by vacuum ultraviolet light includes a mixed phosphor of a first phosphor of (Y, Gd)BO:Eu or the like which is a borate-system red phosphor and a second phosphor of Y(V, P)O:Eu which is a phos-vana system red phosphor.

Gas discharge display apparatus

A plasma display panel includes a pair of substrates disposed to face each other, with a discharge space sandwiched therebetween; plural surface-discharge electrode pairs comprising scanning electrodes and common electrodes formed at an inner surface of the front substrate (one of the pair of substrates); and a dielectric layer covering the surface-discharge electrode pairs with respect to the discharge space. Extraction electrode portions of the scanning electrodes are led to an end portion of one side of the front substrate. Extraction electrode portions of the common electrodes are led to an end portion of the other side of the front substrate. An island-shaped assembly electrode terminal portion that commonly connects the extraction electrode portions of the common electrodes is disposed. Plural micro openings are defined in the assembly electrode terminal portion to form a mesh.

Position alignment structure for plasma display panel

A plurality of select electrodes and a plurality of address electrodes are provided in matrix. A pixel is provided at each intersection of the select electrode and the address electrode. A mechanical electrostatic switch is provided for connecting the pixel with the select electrode and the address electrode. The electrostatic switch is provided to be operated by electrostatic charge stored between a part of the select electrode and a part of the address electrode.
