The present invention aims to provide tires which provide improved overall performance in terms of fuel economy, life performance, wet grip performance, and handling stability. The present invention relates to a tire including a tread, the tread containing a rubber component, a silica having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 200 m/g or more, and a softener, the tread satisfying the following relationship (A):0.25≤total silica content(parts by mass)/(total softener content(parts by mass)×main groove depth(mm))≤0.60.

The tire of the present invention is a tire having an inner liner composed of a rubber composition for an inner liner which is excellent in steering stability, fuel efficiency and a balance of physical properties while maintaining air permeation resistance and durability. The present invention provides a rubber composition that can enhance the fuel economy, wet-grip performance, and abrasion resistance in a balanced manner, and a pneumatic tire using this rubber composition. The invention aims to provide a tire rubber composition that is excellent in the low heat build-up property (fuel economy), wet grip performance, and abrasion resistance, and can be suitably used for a tread (cap tread); and a tire rubber composition that is excellent in the low heat build-up property and breaking properties, and can be suitably used for a base tread or sidewall. Tire rubber composition and pneumatic tire

There are provided a rubber composition for coating a steel cord, containing 100 parts by mass of diene-based rubber; 0.5 to 5 parts by mass of a metal salt of an organic acid; and 30 to 100 parts by mass of a filler, wherein the filler contains 3 to 30 parts by mass of glass beads having a particle diameter of 10 to 100 &#x3bc;m, relative to 100 parts by mass of the diene-based rubber, and a tire reinforcement belt and a pneumatic tire using the rubber composition. The rubber composition reduces heat generation and improves adhesiveness with a steel cord. A pneumatic tire having a tire reinforcement belt using the rubber composition has excellent steering stability and rolling resistance.

The present invention provides a rubber composition for coating a textile cord, and a tire using the rubber composition, wherein rolling resistance is lowered, and processability and rubber strength are excellent, as compared with a rubber composition for coating a textile cord comprising raw materials derived from petroleum resources as a main component, and a tire using the rubber composition, while considering environments and providing for the future decrease in petroleum resources supply. The rubber composition for coating a textile cord comprises 25 to 80 parts by mass of silica and 1 to 15 parts by mass of a silane coupling agent on the basis of 100 parts by mass of a diene rubber, wherein a nitrogen adsorbing-specific surface area of said silica is 70 to 150 m/g.

The present invention provides a rubber composition for covering a carcass cord, which makes it possible to consider an effect on environment, prepare for decrease in supply quantity of petroleum resources in future, reduce rolling resistance and improve rubber strength and processability, and a tire prepared by using the rubber composition.
