This structure exhibits excellent scratch resistance without compromising on the optical performance thereof, such as the antireflection performance.

The producing method includes: (I) providing an active energy ray curable resin composition for mold surface release treatment between a mold having uneven microstructure on its surface and a substrate, and after curing the resin composition by irradiation with an active energy ray, peeling off the substrate together with a cured article of the active energy ray curable resin composition from the surface of the mold, thereby performing a release treatment to the surface of the mold; and (II), after step (I), providing an active energy ray curable resin composition for shaping between the substrate and the mold, the surface of which has been treated by the release treatment, and after curing the resin composition by an active energy ray, peeling off the substrate together with a cured article of the active energy ray curable resin composition for shaping from the surface of the mold.

A mold for the production of an optical article has, provided to a surface thereof, a plurality of convex portions at a cycle equal to or less than the wavelengths of visible light, and a plurality of concave portions formed between the adjacent convex portions. The mold has a surface provided with a transfer area having concave portions and convex portions that have a size and shape complementing the convex portions and the concave portions of the optical article. The mold can include, in the transfer area, marking portions. The height of the convex portions in the transfer area is less than the height of convex portions in sections other than the transfer area.

A method for producing a product having an uneven microstructure on a surface thereof includes: a step (I) which treats a surface of a roll mold () having an uneven microstructure thereon with an external release agent containing a fluorine and not containing a functional group (B) which reacts with a functional group (A) existing on the surface of the product; and a step (II) which obtains the product having the uneven microstructure on the surface thereof () by inserting an active energy ray curable resin composition () including an internal release agent between the roll mold () and a film (substrate) () after the step (I). Then, the composition is hardened by being irradiated with an active energy ray and a cured resin layer () having a surface, onto which the uneven microstructure is transferred, is formed on the surface of the film ().

The present invention relates to a production method for a product having a cured resin layer with a fine concave-convex structure formed on the surface of a substrate, the method including filling the space between a mold having a fine concave-convex structure composed of anodized alumina on the surface and a substrate with an active energy ray-curable resin composition, and curing the composition by irradiation with active energy rays, thereby forming a cured resin layer into which the fine concave-convex structure has been transferred on the surface of the substrate, wherein (A) the method includes treating the surface of the mold with a release agent, at least at transfer initiation, and (B) the active energy ray-curable resin composition includes a polymerizable compound, a polymerization initiator and a (poly)oxyethylene alkyl phosphate ester compound.

This invention relates to a copolymer prepared by polymerizing at least a vinyl compound (A) which gives a homopolymer with a refractive index of 1.50 or more, a fluoroalkyl (meth)acrylate (B) represented by the following formula (1) and methyl methacrylate (C), wherein a weight ratio of monomer (A) component/monomer (B) component ((A)/(B)) in the copolymer is within the range of 0.2 to 1; as well as a plastic optical fiber and a plastic optical fiber cable comprising a clad made of the copolymer. This invention can provide a plastic optical fiber and a plastic optical fiber cable exhibiting a reduced transmission loss, minimizing increase in a transmission loss even when being held as a bobbin-wound form, exhibiting a reduced bend loss and can transmit a wide-band data.  (In the above formula, X represents H or CH; and Rf represents fluoroalkyl having 7 to 14 carbon atoms both inclusive and 13 to 25 fluorine atoms both inclusive.).
