There is provided a leg massager that massages a user's leg by a position-adjustable massaging system for selectively massaging massage target areas of the leg. The leg massager includes: a lower massaging system that massages a massage target area of the user's leg L including at least user's foot F; an upper massaging system that massages an upper massage target area located above the massage target area which is massaged by the lower massaging system; a driving mechanism that drives the upper massaging system and the lower massaging system; and a rockably supporting portion that supports the upper massaging system for rocking motion about its horizontal axis.

Leg massager

There is provided a massage device for performing a grabbing massage such as to grab a to-be-massaged area. The massage device () comprises: a kneading massage member () having a kneading massager () at its front end; and a grabbing massage member () having a grabbing massager () at its front end, which is disposed on the base end side of the kneading massage member (), and, the grabbing massage member () is designed to perform a grabbing massage by moving the grabbing massager of the grabbing massage member () close to and away from the kneading massager ().

Massage device

A massaging apparatus has two massaging systems arranged proximate to each other for performing more elaborate massage on target body areas. The massaging apparatus includes a first massaging member pair for massaging target areas; a second massaging member pair, provided independently of the first massaging member pair, for massaging target areas; a rotation shaft rotatably driven; a paired first conversion mechanisms, each disposed on a corresponding one of the first massaging members, for converting rotation of the rotation shaft into mutually approaching and separating movements of the first massaging members; and a second conversion mechanism for converting rotation of the rotation shaft into mutually approaching and separating movements of the paired second massaging members. The second massaging member pair is disposed between the paired first massaging members, and the second conversion mechanism is disposed between the paired first conversion mechanisms.

Massaging apparatus

Provided is a massage machine enabling an effective massage treatment by a pair of left and right massage members even for users having various sizes or thicknesses of treatment regions. A massage machine according to the present invention includes: a pair of left and right massage members provided so as to hold a treatment region; a rotating shaft provided so as to laterally penetrate the left and right massage members; a drive unit for rotationally driving the rotating shaft; and a conversion part for converting a rotating force of the rotating shaft to a massage operation by the massage members, and in this massage machine, there is provided a horizontal movement mechanism for causing at least one of the pair of left and right massage members to move in a horizontal direction along the rotating shaft by rotating the rotating shaft to thereby make an interval between the pair of left and right massage members variable.

Lower-leg massage device

There is provided a chair-type massage apparatus which, while having a low-height backrest, affords an adequate massage effect without forcing a user to take an uncomfortable position. The chair-type massage apparatuscomprises: the seat; the base framefor supporting the seaton a floor; the backrestdisposed at the rear of the seatfor the support of user's back; and the massage sectionincorporated in the backrest, for performing a massage on a user sitting on the seat, and further includes the up-and-down meansfor switchably changing the height of the backrestvertically within a range between the housing position where the lower part of the backrestis stored under the seatand the protruding position where the lower part of the backrestis raised to an upper location.

Chair-type massage apparatus

The chair-type massage apparatus is characterized in that, when placed with its back facing a room wall, it can be located near the wall and, when its seat is made movable back-and-forth, the leg kneading device mounted at the front of the seat can be used without being obstructed by the back-and-forth movement. The chair-type massage apparatuscomprises the seat, the base frame, and the backrestreclinably mounted at the rear of the seat. During reclining, the upper end of the backrest moves vertically along one vertical line. The leg kneading device is mounted at the front of the seat. The base frame has the seat moving mechanismfor moving the seat at least in the front-rear direction, and the seat has the position changing mechanismfor effecting positional change of the leg kneading device relative to the seat while maintaining the relative distance.
