[Problem] To reduce imbalance among all movable components of a scroll compressor including a drive shaft and components fixed or connected to the drive shaft. In a scroll compressor, a shaft balancerintegrated with a drive shaftincludes a first weightdisposed on the opposite side from an eccentric pinwith respect to a center line CLof the drive shaft, and a bushing balancerintegrated with an eccentric bushincludes a second weightdisposed on the radially outer side of the eccentric bushand on the opposite side from a center line CLof the eccentric pinwith respect to a center line CLof the eccentric bush. In a view from the axial direction of the drive shaft, the second weightis symmetric with respect to a virtual line passing through the center of the drive shaftand the center of the eccentric bush, and the first weightis asymmetric with respect to the virtual line.

Scroll compressor

A spiral orbiting wrap of an orbiting scroll is meshed with a spiral fixed wrap of a fixed scroll. A first compression chamber is formed by an inner wall surface of the orbiting wrap and an outer wall surface of a fixed wrap. A second compression chamber is formed by an inner wall surface of the fixed wrap and an outer wall surface of the orbiting wrap. The orbiting base plate of the orbiting scroll includes a first through hole capable of communicating the first compression chamber with the back pressure chamber and a second through hole capable of communicating the second compression chamber with the back pressure chamber. The first compression chamber communicates with the back pressure chamber via the first through hole prior to the communication of the second compression chamber with the back pressure chamber via the second through hole.

Scroll compressor with suppressed reduction of rotational moment

[Problem] A scroll compressor is provided which has improved workability when a back pressure chamber and a compression chamber are communicated with each other. [Solution] A scroll compressorincludes a back pressure chamberformed in a back surface of a mirror plateof a movable scrollin the scroll compressor, and a communication holewhich is formed in the mirror plateof the movable scrolland communicates the back pressure chamberand a compression chamberwith each other. The communication holeis constituted of a large-diameter hole sectionlocated on the back pressure chamberside of the mirror plateof the movable scroll, and a small-diameter hole sectionwhich continues from the large-diameter hole sectionto reach the compression chamber

[Problem] A scroll compressor is provided which is capable of effectively reducing a pressure loss in a pathway extending from a discharge space to a discharge port. [Solution] The scroll compressor includes a discharge spaceformed in a compressing mechanism coverof a housing, a discharge holewhich is formed in a fixed scrolland discharges a compressed refrigerant to the discharge space, a discharge portwhich discharges the refrigerant to the outside of the housing, a relief passagewhich communicates the discharge space and the discharge port with each other, and a differential pressure valvewhich is provided in the relief passage and opens in accordance with a pressure difference between the discharge space and the discharge port. The relief passage opens in the discharge space above the discharge hole.

[Problem] A scroll compressor is provided which effectively suppresses the occurrence of localized contact caused by deformation of a fixed scroll or a movable scroll due to the influence of a compressive reaction force or thermal expansion and shortens a break-in time. [Solution] Lapsandof a fixed scrolland a movable scrollare constituted to have a plurality of step portions between a winding end portion at an outermost periphery and a winding start portion at an innermost periphery and decrease stepwise in height toward the winding start portion from the winding end portion. The position and height of each step portion are set so that when the spiral lapsandare expanded on a predetermined plane, a base point of each step portion is placed on a predetermined arc drawn on the plane.
