A fuel cell vehicle is equipped with a fuel cell system including a gas liquid separation unit for separating gas and liquid and discharging the separated liquid. The fuel cell vehicle includes an acceleration sensor for detecting information regarding acceleration, and a control unit for estimating the discharge state of the liquid from the gas liquid separation unit based on the information regarding acceleration. Based on acceleration applied to the liquid in the gas liquid separation unit, the control unit can estimate whether the liquid is discharged from the gas liquid separation unit or the liquid is not discharged and remains as the remaining liquid in the gas liquid separation unit.

Fuel cell vehicle and liquid state estimation method

A fuel cell system includes a gas liquid separator and a valve device. The gas liquid separator separates water from a fuel off gas discharged from a fuel cell stack. The valve device is provided in a discharge channel for discharging water separated from the gas liquid separator. The valve device includes a fluid inlet for guiding fluid at least containing water in the gas liquid separator toward the valve main body. A heating device is provided at an inner hole of the fluid inlet.

Fuel cell system

A valve is disposed in a reactant gas system apparatus of a fuel cell system. The valve includes a housing having an internal channel as a passage of water, and heaters in the form of rods inserted into the housing. An orifice having a small channel cross sectional area is provided at a predetermined position of the channel. The heaters are inclined from a solenoid of the valve in an axial direction of the housing, and front ends of the heaters are positioned close to the orifice.

Valve

In a fuel cell system and a method of controlling the fuel cell system, correlation temperature correlated to temperature of a fuel cell stack is obtained. Further, temperature of a heating unit provided at the bottom of a water storage area of a gas liquid separator is estimated. The presence/absence of water in the gas liquid separator is determined based on the correlation temperature of the fuel cell stack and the temperature of the heating unit.

Fuel cell system and method of controlling fuel cell system

A fuel gas injection device of a fuel cell system includes an ejector having a nozzle that generates a negative pressure by discharging a fuel gas injected respectively from a plurality of injectors so as to draw-in a fuel exhaust gas discharged from a fuel cell stack and mix the fuel exhaust gas with the fuel gas. A total orifice equivalent diameter obtained by adding together orifice equivalent diameters of respective injection holes of the plurality of injectors and an orifice equivalent diameter of an injection hole of the nozzle are set such that S&#x3c;S.

Fuel gas injection device and fuel cell system

A gas-liquid separator includes a casing in which there are formed an inlet port to which a gas-liquid two-phase flow is supplied, and an outlet port through which a gas flow is discharged after the gas-liquid two-phase flow has been separated into a gas and a liquid. A gas-liquid separation chamber is formed in the casing by a partition wall. The inlet port opens on a surface of the partition wall in the gas-liquid separation chamber. The gas-liquid separator further includes a deflection member configured to change a flow direction of the gas-liquid two-phase flow that flows in from the inlet port, and a clearance is formed between the deflection member and an inner wall of the casing.

Gas-liquid separator

In a fuel gas circulation apparatus, a diffuser is accommodated in an attachment hole of a body. An injector is provided upstream of the diffuser through an attachment. A vibration absorption member made of elastic material is provided between a proximal end of a large diameter portion of this diffuser and a distal end of a main body in the attachment, and a ring member is provided adjacent to the vibration absorption member.

Fuel gas circulation apparatus

A fuel cell vehicle includes a fuel cell stack, a fuel tank, a body-side mounting portion, a main fuel pipe, a securing mechanism, and an elastic pipe. The fuel cell stack is disposed in a front section of the fuel cell vehicle. The fuel tank is disposed in a rear section of the fuel cell vehicle. The main fuel pipe connects the fuel tank and the body-side mounting portion. The elastic pipe is connected to the fuel cell stack at a first end of the elastic pipe and connected, via the securing mechanism, to the body-side mounting portion at a second end of the elastic pipe opposite to the first end such that the second end of the elastic pipe is disengaged from the body-side mounting portion when a load larger than a predetermined threshold load is applied to the securing mechanism.

Fuel cell vehicle

A hydrogen injection apparatus has an injector attached to an attachment hole of a body. The injector can inject hydrogen. A mounting member made of metal is provided on the outer circumferential side of the injector. An annular elastic member is provided in contact with a base of the mounting member. At the time of mounting the injector to the attachment hole, an elastic member and the mounting member are assembled in a manner that the elastic member and the mounting member are accommodated in a support base of an attachment provided at an opening of the attachment hole.

Hydrogen injection apparatus

A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell, a fuel-gas supply path, a fuel-gas circulation path, a first flow adjuster, an ejector, a bypass flow path, and a second flow adjuster. The fuel cell has a fuel-gas flow path and an oxidant-gas flow path. The bypass flow path connects an upstream section of the fuel-gas supply path located upstream of the first flow adjuster to a downstream section of the fuel-gas supply path located downstream of the ejector so as to cause fuel gas to bypass the first flow adjuster and the ejector. The second flow adjuster is provided in the bypass flow path to adjust a flow rate of the fuel gas by intermittently ejecting the fuel gas at a larger flow rate than the first flow adjuster.
