A method of manufacturing an adhesive member includes providing, for a substrate, a resin composition having a viscosity of about 5 cP to about 50 cP, as measured according to JISK2283 method, at about 25° C. The resin composition is exposed to a first light to form a preliminary adhesive member having a curing rate of about 80% to about 98%. The preliminary adhesive member is exposed to a second light having a light integral/dose that is more than that of the first light to form an adhesive member. The preliminary adhesive member may have a loss tangent (tan δ) of about 0.2 to about 0.6 and may have a glass transition temperature of about −70° C. to −30° C. Accordingly, the preliminary adhesive member and adhesive member formed by the method of manufacturing an adhesive member may exhibit increased reliability.

Method of manufacturing adhesive member, method of manufacturing display device including the same, and display device manufactured by the method of manufacturing display device

A resin composition includes a first (meth)acrylic resin having a weight average molecular weight of about 500 or less, a second (meth)acrylic resin having a weight average molecular weight of about 6,000 or more, a radical polymerization initiator, and a polyrotaxane compound, where the resin composition has a viscosity in a range of about 1.0 mPa·s to about 100 mPa·s at 25° C.

Resin composition, adhesive member, and display device including the same

A resin composition including at least one of a monofunctional (meth)acrylate having an imide ring structure or a monomer having a 2-pyrrolidone skeleton and a radical curable group in an amount of about 0.1 weight percent to about 5 weight percent based on the total weight of the resin composition, wherein the resin composition has a viscosity of about 5 millipascal seconds to less than about 50 millipascal seconds at 25° C., and wherein a glass transition temperature of the resin composition after being cured satisfies a value of about −50° C. to less than about 0°C.

A resin composition may include a (meth)acrylate (A) comprising a hydroxy group and having a molecular weight of about 500 or less, and a polymer (B) comprising polyisoprene or polybutadiene as a main skeleton, having at least one radical reactive group in one molecule, and having a molecular weight in a range of about 2,000 to about 35,000, wherein the resin composition has a glass transition temperature in a range of about −50° C. to about 0° C. after the resin composition is cured, and the resin composition has a viscosity in a range of about 5 mPa·s to about 50 mPa·s at a temperature in a range of about 30° C. to about 50° C.

An adhesive member includes a polymer derived from a resin composition. The resin composition includes at least one (meth)acrylate monomer, at least one urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer, and at least one photoinitiator. The adhesive member has a glass transition temperature in a range of about −70° C. to about −30° C., a 180° peel force of about 800 gf/25 mm or greater at a temperature of 25° C., and a deformation recovery rate in a range of about 75% to about 100% at temperatures of −20° C. and 60° C. The deformation recovery rate satisfies the following equation: X=[1−(X/25)]×100%, where Xdenotes a shear strain measured 600 seconds after removing a shear stress applied in a way such that the adhesive member has a shear strain of 25% at the temperatures of −20° C. and 60° C., and Xdenotes the deformation recovery rate.

Adhesive member and display device including the same

A suspension has a load beam and a flexure having a tongue portion to which a slider is attached. The load beam has a pin insertion hole formed between a proximal portion of the load beam and the slider and an opening formed between a distal portion of the load beam and the slider. A first locating pin is inserted into the pin insertion hole, and a second locating pin into the opening. An extending portion is formed on a distal portion of the flexure. The flexure has a first locating hole in which the first locating pin is inserted and a second locating hole in which the second locating pin is inserted. The second locating hole is formed in the extending portion.

Suspension for disc drive apparatus

In a suspension comprising a base portion, beam portion, and a hinge member connecting the base portion and the beam portion to each other, a hole for lowering the stiffness of a region of the beam portion near the hinge member is formed in that region. A cover portion closes the opening of the hole.

Suspension with cover portion comprising part of flexure for disc drive

A suspension for disc drive having a micro actuator mechanism comprises a base plate, a connecting plate having a hinge portion thinner than the base plate, a load beam provided with a flexure, a pair of actuator elements such as PZT, etc. The micro actuator mechanism includes a pivot portion formed between a pair of slits and support walls formed on the connecting plate. The actuator elements are provided individually on the opposite sides of the pivot portion. Each support wall is a bent portion that is formed by raising an edge portion of the connecting plate in the thickness direction of the main portion of the connecting plate.

Suspension for disc drive

A suspension comprises a load beam fitted with a flexure, an actuator base including a base plate, a hinge member thinner than the base plate, and a pair of piezoelectric ceramic elements. The piezoelectric ceramic elements displace the distal end portion of the load beam in a sway direction when supplied with voltage. Each piezoelectric ceramic element is stored in an opening portion in the actuator base. An electrical insulating cover film is pasted on each piezoelectric ceramic element. The cover film covers the opposite side faces of each piezoelectric ceramic element. The opposite end faces of each piezoelectric ceramic element are covered with an adhesive agent that fixes the element to the actuator base.

A suspension for disk drive, comprising a load beam having a proximal end portion fitted with a base plate, a distal end portion fitted with a flexure, and bent edges formed individually on the opposite sides thereof, the load beam being gradually tapered from the proximal end portion toward the distal end portion, a support projection interposed between the load beam and the flexure, and a flexible portion of the load beam defined in a region between the support projection and the base plate. Openings are formed in an inner portion of a second region between the center of gravity of the flexible portion and the base plate, inside the bent edges, so that K.sub.Lb /K.sub.SP is 2 or more, where K.sub.Lb is a spring constant for a first region between the center of gravity of the flexible portion and the support projection and K.sub.SP is a spring constant for the second region, the area of the openings accounting for 25% or more of the area of the inner portion.

Suspension for disk drive

A head supporting apparatus comprises an arm driven by a positioning motor of a disk drive and a suspension adhered to a suspension attachment portion of the arm via a base plate. The suspension includes a load beam, a head, and so on. A coarse surface is provided on a surface of the base plate which is brought into contact with the adhesive. The coarse surface has a function of rendering adhesion of the adhesive to the base plate greater than adhesion of the adhesive to the arm. The coarse surface is obtained by forming a number of minute cavities on the base plate by a press process.
