At a rim portion of a steering wheel, a shielding layer is disposed between a sensor electrode and a rim metal core portion. The shielding layer extends with respect to the sensor electrode. Therefore, generation of capacitive coupling between the sensor electrode and the rim metal core portion can be suppressed properly by the shielding layer, and parasitic capacitance that is generated at the sensor electrode can be reduced.

Steering body

At a present tongue, a vertical rib is provided between a first elastic piece and a second elastic piece of a cover. When a guide bar is displaced toward a vehicle rear side, and the guide bar abuts the first elastic piece and the second elastic piece, the guide bar abuts the vertical rib. Due thereto, imparting of load to the first elastic piece and the second elastic piece by the guide bar can be suppressed, and elastic deformation of the first elastic piece and the second elastic piece can be suppressed.

Tongue for seatbelt device

At a present buckle device, lateral slits are formed in lateral portions of a slider of a buckle switch. A tab is formed at a portion, which is further toward a device upper side than the lateral slit, of a lateral portion that is at a device left side. A portion, which is further toward a device lower side than the lateral slit, at the lateral portion is an elastic portion, and a magnet is held thereat. Therefore, even if the tab receives pushing force from an ejector and is deformed, deformation arising at the elastic portion can be suppressed, and holding of the magnet can be stabilized.

Buckle device

In a through anchor, it enables a piece to be moved to an attachment position of the piece in a metal core by moving the piece toward a vehicle front lower side in a state in which a lower end portion of a guide portion of a guide groove of the piece is abutted with a guide projection formed at a metal core lower portion of the metal core.

Anchor for seatbelt device

In a through anchor, a thinned portion is formed at a metal core lower portion of a metal core. This thereby enables an increase in body size of the through anchor to be prevented or suppressed even when a mold portion is made thick at the portion of the metal core where the thinned portion is formed.
