According to one embodiment, there is provided a rotating electrical machine coil with a conductor and an insulation layer that is provided around the conductor to cover the conductor, the rotating electrical machine coil including a linear part of the coil and a coil end that is separable from and electrically connectable to the linear part of the coil.

A mica tape comprising a mica foil, a glass cloth, and an inorganic filler arranged on the glass cloth, wherein the mica tape is wound a plurality of times about an outer circumferential surface of a conductor portion of an electrical rotating machine coil so as to form an insulating layer for the coil, and the inorganic filler has a Mohs hardness falling within a range of 1 to 7 and exhibits a heat conductivity superior to those of the mica foil and the glass cloth, whereby, the inorganic filler is excellent in the heat conductivity and has a Mohs hardness not lower than that of the glass cloth contained in the mica tape, when used together with the inorganic filler.

The invention aims to provide a highly heat conductive tape member or sheet member and a method for easily producing a highly heat conductive tape member or sheet member. The mica tape member or mica sheet member of the invention includes a mica-containing layer and a lining material, and the mica-containing layer contains scaly particles, particles having a heat conductivity of 0.5 W/mK or higher and a size of 1 &#x3bc;m or smaller, and a binder.

An electromagnetic equipment such as dynamoelectric machine includes an electromagnetic coil formed by winding an insulated wire. The insulated wire is made of a bare conductor having, on its surface, two layers of an insulating coating composed of a varnish and a low-resistance conductive coating composed of a heat resisting varnish containing a conductive oxide. A coil formed of the insulated wire is applied to the whole electromagnetic coil or a coil part near a power supply terminal.
