Foreign objects that have entered inside an insertion body are suppressed from reaching a detector side. In a buckle device, when a tongue plate is attached, an ejector slides downwards inside a buckle body, opening a through hole in a partitioning wall of a lower cover at the upper side. A main body portion of a slider member of a buckle switch is inserted into the through hole, closing off a portion of the through hole that has been opened by the ejector. Hence it is suppressed that foreign objects discharged through an insertion through hole in the buckle body to outside the buckle body pass through the through hole and reach the buckle switch side further than the partitioning wall.

Buckle device

In the present pretensioner, press contact portions are formed further to a side of an open end of a packing housing section than central portions of opposing faces along a depth direction of the packing housing section. Accordingly, when a packing is being fitted into the packing housing section, no great resistance is imparted to a curved face side of the packing from a press contact wall of a housing section body and the opposing face, and the packing is fitted comparatively smoothly therein. Consequently, even when fitting the packing into the packing housing section, a packing main body is largely resilient-deformed, such that a large collapse in a through hole can be prevented, and the sealing ability of the seal due to deformation of the packing main body can be effectively enhanced.

Pretensioner

In the pretensioner, a guiding wall is provided in a generator-side passing portion of a gas passing portion, and an inner portion of the generator-side passing portion at a portion where the guard wall is set is located to a base end rather than a tip end of a wire protective cylinder. Further, a gas generator mounting hole and the generator-side passing portion is inclined to be directed the base end of the wire protective cylinder. For this reason, gas that is jetted from a gas generator is blown to the base end of the wire protective cylinder or a surrounding portion thereof. As a result, even though the thickness of the wire protective cylinder is not set to be large, it can be against pressure of the blown gas.

A switch device, comprising: a switch base plate that includes a sliding surface on one side thereof, a sliding member that is provided with a first claw portion and a second claw portion, the sliding member being latched by the first and second claw portions, and the sliding member also being supported by the switch base plate so as to be slidable in a sliding direction; a contact member that is disposed in a position opposing a sliding surface of the sliding member, the contact member being deformed by bending by a pressing force from the sliding surface, and the contact member is pressed against the sliding surface by a restorative force from the bending deformation; an extended portion that is formed at a leading end portion of the switch base plate; and a cut-out portion that is formed at the leading end portion of the switch base plate.

Switch device and assembly method thereof

A buckle device is provided with a lock plate that engages with a tongue plate that is inserted into the device body and that holds the tongue plate inside the device body, and a lock member that engages with the lock plate and prevents the lock plate from moving to a released position, and the lock member has a body portion and a shaft that supports the body portion within the device body. The body portion of the lock member is formed from a sintered metal, and the shaft is formed from a metal and is integrally press fit into the body portion. The strength of the shaft, which receives the load of the body portion, is secured and at the same time it is possible to achieve miniaturization and weight securement of the body portion.

A buckle device includes a buckle body that includes a bottom plate and a pair of side walls with a tongue plate being inserted and retained between the side walls, and a release button that includes an operation portion that is push-operated along the insertion direction to release the retention of the tongue plate. Elongated holes along the insertion direction of the tongue plate are formed in the pair of side walls of the buckle body. The release button also includes a pair of arm portions that extend in the insertion direction from both width-direction ends of the operation portion, a pair of extension portions that have a predetermined elasticity and extend from width-direction ends of the pair of arm portions toward the bottom plate, and pawl portions that protrude from ends of the pair of extension portions toward the side walls and movably fit into the elongated holes.

Buckle device and method for assembling the same

A buckle device including: a device main body into which is inserted a tongue plate provided at a webbing belt; a locking mechanism having a latch which is provided within the device main body so as to be engageable with the tongue plate when the tongue plate is inserted in the device main body, the locking mechanism restricting pulling-out of the tongue plate; a first detecting mechanism detecting the tongue plate which has been inserted in the device main body, and outputting a first detection signal; a second detecting mechanism detecting a position of the latch, and outputting a second detection signal; and a judging mechanism connected to the first detecting mechanism and the second detecting mechanism.

A plate spring urges a base of a buckle device toward an anchor insertion opening side with respect to an anchor plate. Provided that urging force of the plate spring exceeds urging force of a spiral spring, the base is held, by the urging force of the plate spring, at a position at which a rivet contacts an insertion direction side end portion of a long hole. However, when the urging force of the spiral spring exceeds the urging force of the plate spring due to, in order to attach a child seat, pulling out of a webbing belt more than at a time when a body is to be restrained, the base moves against the urging force of the plate spring, and the plate spring pushes a transfer rod. Due to this pushing force being detected by a semiconductor diffusion strain gauge, it can be detected that the child seat is attached on a seat.

Buckle apparatus for seat belt system

A seat belt buckle is provided which can prevent ejection of a tongue plate caused by so-called reverse G without increasing release force for releasing a lock state. The seat belt buckle comprises a latch including a latch swinging end portion, a lock member including a lock swinging end portion, which is made to swing between a lock position, at which at the time of latching, the lock swinging end portion swings on the latch swinging end portion and engage to stop the latch swinging end portion in a state of pressing the latch swinging end portion toward engagement holes of a tongue plate and a base while pressing the same in a tongue plate insertion direction, thereby locking the latching, and a lock release position, a lock operation end portion for releasing the locking and a weight portion formed at the side of the lock swinging end portion.

Seat belt buckle

A shoulder anchor position adjusting device is provided in which assembly of a position adjusting mechanism, which adjusts a position of a shoulder anchor, is easy. The shoulder anchor is fixed to a slider. The slider is slidably mounted to a slide rail by the position adjusting mechanism which has a lock pin and a release lever. The release lever is placed on the slider in which a stepped groove is formed. The release lever is swingably held due to engagement of an anchor plate of a cover case with a cut-out groove. A flange portion is formed at the lock pin, and is supported by a step forming portion of the stepped groove. Due to a coil spring, a shaft portion of the lock pin is inserted through an insertion hole of the slider and is fit into an engagement hole formed in the slide rail.

Shoulder anchor position adjusting device

A webbing for restraining a vehicle occupant, having a webbing length increasing device which is folded over and sewn together along a transverse direction of the webbing, and when a load applied between a vehicle occupant and the webbing length increasing device exceeds a sewing strength of the webbing length increasing device, stitching of the webbing length increasing device comes undone, the webbing length increasing device having at least a first sewn-together portion and a second sewn-together portion, the second sewn-together portion being provided at a webbing fold tip end side of the first sewn-together portion and having a sewing strength which is smaller than a sewing strength of the first sewn-together portion. Load applied between the vehicle occupant and the webbing, when a length of the webbing is increased at a time of sudden deceleration of a vehicle, is reduced gradually.
