A power supply device includes a first power supply circuit, a second power supply circuit, and a power supply-switching unit. The first power supply circuit includes a power storage device having a first capacity and supplies electricity of a first voltage to the electric motor. The second power supply circuit includes a power storage device having a second capacity smaller than the first capacity and supplies electricity of a second voltage higher than the first voltage to the electric motor. The power supply-switching unit supplies electricity from the second power supply circuit to the electric motor at the tune of starting an operation of the electric motor and thereafter supplies electricity from the first power supply circuit to the electric motor.

A power management system includes: a first power source that includes a first storage cell; a second power source that includes a second storage cell; a power load that is driven with first power output by the first power source and second power output by the second power source; and an integrated control device that controls the first power and the second power such that a first cell temperature of the first storage cell is substantially the same as a second cell temperature of the second storage cell.

Power management system

In a battery system of the invention, a BMS calculates a maximum charge rate representing a maximum value from present charge rates of plurality of secondary batteries constituting an assembled battery and a minimum charge rate. Then, the BMS generates a normal waveform signal in which the maximum charge rate is determined as a maximum peak and the minimum charge rate is determined as a minimum peak as a waveform signal which is displayed in a charge rate display range where a full charge rate in the case of a full charge state of the secondary battery is determined as an upper limit and an empty charge rate in the case of an empty charge state of the secondary battery is determined as a lower limit. Then, the BMS displays the normal waveform signal in the charge rate display range.

Battery system

A first estimated state of charge is output based on an estimated open voltage of a secondary battery. A second estimated state of charge is output based on the result obtained by integrating the measured current of the secondary battery and the upper limit of the error of the measured current and the capacity of the secondary battery. A third estimated state of charge is output based on the result obtained by integrating the measured current and the lower limit of the error of the measured current and the battery capacity. A fourth estimated state of charge is output based on the result obtained by integrating the measured current and the battery capacity. The fourth estimated state of charge is output as a state of charge within the period of the predetermined period.

State of charge computation system

The battery state-of-charge calculation device () is provided with a SOCV calculation unit () which outputs a first state of charge calculated based on voltage data, a SOCI calculation unit () which outputs a second state of charge calculated based on current data, an estimated impedance voltage calculation unit () which calculates an impedance voltage value based on an effective state of charge and the current data, a static determination unit () which determines that the impedance voltage value remains static for a predetermined time or longer in a range identified by a predetermined threshold value and outputs the determination result; and a SOC decision unit () which, based on the determination result, outputs the first state of charge as the effective state of charge where the impedance voltage value is static and outputs the second state of charge as the effective state of charge where the impedance voltage value is not static.

Battery state-of-charge calculation device

A voltage equalization device of a power storage device provided with battery packs in which a plurality of secondary cells are connected, power converters provided in association with the battery packs, and controllers that control the power converters, and in which the battery packs are connected in parallel via the individual power converters includes a decision portion and a voltage-adjusting portion. The decision portion obtains battery-pack information regarding the states of charge/discharge of the individual battery packs and decides, for each battery pack, whether or not to perform voltage adjustment on the basis of the battery-pack information. When the decision portion decides that the voltage adjustment is to be performed, the voltage-adjusting portion generates offset instructions for adjusting the states of charge/discharge and outputs the offset instructions to the controllers of the power converters associated with the battery packs.

Voltage equalization device, method, program, and power storage system

A secondary cell control system includes a plurality of cells; a charging circuit section and a discharging circuit section. The charging circuit section charges cells selected from among said plurality of cells, and the discharging circuit section discharges cells selected from among said plurality of cells.

It is an object to effectively output electrical energy of a storage battery to an electrical power system serving as a whole distributed power supply system by effectively utilizing the electrical energy within a charging ratio range that does not cause overcharging or overdischarging of the storage battery. In a hybrid distributed power supply system, the target supply electrical power is set based on the electrical power generation output of the electrical power generator and the charging state of the storage battery, and the target supply electrical power is restricted within a predetermined permissible supply electrical power range when the target supply electrical power deviates from the predetermined permissible supply electrical power range.

An object is to reliably conduct cell balancing operation while suppressing deterioration of batteries and maintaining operating efficiency. When the cell balance control by the cell balancing circuitis started, the system control devicesets an on/off device corresponding to the arm where the cell balance control is conducted to the open state; and when the cell balance control is completed, and the difference between the terminal voltage of a battery pack of the arm where the cell balance control has been conducted and the terminal voltages of the battery packs of the other arms falls within a preset allowable range, sets the on/off device, which has been in the open state, to the closed state.

An abnormality prediction system for secondary batteries according to the present invention includes: a parameter value detection portion that detects parameter values each corresponding to each of a plurality of secondary batteries to determine whether all the parameter values are normal or not; and a singular state determination portion that determines, if a difference between a reference value calculated by use of all the parameter values determined to be normal by the parameter value detection portion and at least one of the parameter values is not less than a threshold value, the secondary battery corresponding to the parameter value with the difference not less than the threshold value to be in a state different from those of the other secondary batteries out of the plurality of secondary batteries.

Abnormality prediction system for secondary batteries

A radio frequency power supply structure and a plasma CVD device comprising the same are provided in which reflection of radio frequency power at a connecting portion where an RF cable connects to an electrode is reduced so that incidence of the radio frequency power into the electrode increases. In the radio frequency power supply structure for use in a device generating plasma by charging a plate-like electrode with a radio frequency power, the radio frequency power supply structure supplying the electrode with the radio frequency power from an RF cable, the RF cable is positioned on an extended plane of a plane formed by the electrode to connect to the electrode at a connecting portion provided on an end peripheral portion of the electrode. The RF cable connects to the electrode substantially in the same plane as the plane formed by the electrode. Voltage acting after the connecting portion becomes symmetric relative to the plane formed by the electrode and the electric line of force also becomes symmetric. Thereby, change of impedance at the connecting portion is reduced, reflection of the radio frequency power at the connecting portion is reduced, incidence of the radio frequency power into the electrode increases and the efficiency of film forming and surface treatment is enhanced.

High-frequency power supply structure and plasma CVD device using the same

A motor driving system for driving an induction motor with a rotation frequency detector. The induction motor drives a load, and the rotation frequency detector detects a rotation frequency of the induction motor. The motor driving system includes a variable speed driving unit and an inverter control unit. The variable speed driving unit is connected to the induction motor and has a capacitance at output. The variable speed driving unit rectifies first 3-phase AC power to produce DC power, and converts the DC power into second 3-phase AC power with a frequency, and drives the induction motor with the second 3-phase AC power. The inverter control unit generates a frequency instruction and a temporary current instruction based on the detected rotation frequency and a rotation frequency instruction at least. Then, the inverter control unit corrects the temporary current instruction based on at least one of first correction depending on a value of the capacitance and second correction depending on a predetermined frequency component of the temporary current instruction to produce a current instruction, and controls the variable speed driving unit based on the frequency instruction and the current instruction.

Inverter control apparatus and motor driving system

The inverter device includes an inverse conversion circuit which converts a supplied direct-current electricity into a alternating-current electricity having a predetermined frequency, and is designed to drive a motor for a rotary machine, at various speeds, in which the switching control of the inverse conversion circuit is performed by a digital processor. In this inverter device, a timer interrupt process having an independent constant processing cycle which is not directly related to the processing cycle of the system control in the digital processor is assigned. In the timer interrupt process, whether or not switching of the inverse conversion circuit is required is determined, and the switching control is carried out on the basis of the determination.

Inverter device

An apparatus and method for treating exhaust gases. In this apparatus, a plurality of stages of reactor chambers (R , R , . . . R ) are connected in series in the direction of an exhaust gas flow. Further, high-voltage power supplies (V , V , . . . and V ) are connected to the reactor chambers (R , R , . . . and R ), respectively. Moreover, in each of these reactor chambers, a streamer discharger plasma is generated. Furthermore, the more downstream a reactor chamber of a stage is placed, the lower energy to be cast into the reactor chamber becomes. The density of electrons generated in a gas decomposition unit is high in a portion thereof on the upstream side of the exhaust gas flow and the electron density is low in a portion thereof on the downstream side. Additionally, the present invention further provides a pulse generator in which a high voltage, which is an output voltage of a D.C. charger (V ), is simultaneously applied to a plurality of distributed constant lines (or transmission lines) (1 , 1 , 2 , 2 , . . . , N and N ), which are connected in parallel with one another, by means of a signal shortcircuit switch (S ).
