A remote control transmitting and receiving system for operating electric equipment with little operational misjudgment or malfunction. By setting a plurality of transmission codes of remote control signals of a plurality of remote control transmitters to different periods and by providing transmission order data in these transmission codes, even if transmission is carried out from a plurality of remote control transmitters completely simultaneously or with a slight time difference, it is possible to judge the transmission operation order accurately.

Remote control transmitter and transmitting-receiving system

A remote control transmitter includes a case having a surface, an operation switch provided in to the case, a door capable of opening and closing the surface of the case, a detection switch provided in the case, an elastic member provided in the door, a controller for generating a signal corresponding to operations of the operation switch and the detection switch, and a transmission section for transmitting the signal. The elastic member presses the detection switch to activate the detection switch when the door closes the surface of the case. The elastic member deactivates the detection switch when the door opens the surface of the case. This remote control transmitter allows the door to be opened and closed securely, hence remotely controlling a device securely.

Remote control transmitter

A remote controller includes (i) an operating part having at least a key, (ii) a transmitter for transmitting a remote-control signal, (iii) a receiver for a receiving search signal, (iv) an informer for generating at least one of sound and vibration, and (v) a controller connected to these parts. The controller operates the transmitter according to an operation at the operating part, detects that the remote controller is in an abnormal operation state other than normal operation state according to an operation at the operating part, and operates the informer responsive to the search signal received by the receiver at least in the case of abnormal operation.

Remote controller

The invention relates to a switching device and a remote control unit using the switching device to be used for operating a variety of electronic products. The invention aims to provide a device and unit which can be miniaturized and which can utilize a high-density components mounting technology. A switch () is disposed inside an inner periphery of the rotary operating part (), and a lever () of the switch () is engaged with a cam () formed at an inner boundary of the operating part (), constituting a switching device (). With this constitution, the switching device and the remote control unit using the device can be provided miniaturized using a high-density components mounting.

Switching device and remote control using the switching device

A display includes a case having an opening provided therein, a holding portion provided on the case and having a frame shape provided around the opening, a display device accommodated in the holding portion, a circuit board accommodated in the case, a connector for connecting the display device to the circuit board, and an elastic portion provided at the holding portion for urging the display device. The holding portion has a side directing towards an inside of the frame shape. The display device includes plural electrodes arranged in a predetermined direction. The display device has a side contacting the side of the holding portion. The side of the display device faces the side of the holding portion in the predetermined direction. The circuit board includes plural conductors arranged in the predetermined direction. The connector connects the electrodes of the display device to the conductors of the circuit board, respectively.

Display and remote controller including display

A switching device and a remote control transmitter using the switching device are provided. In the switching device, a driving body rotating in conjunction with an operation body is provided. This rotation of the driving body provides an electrical contact or separation of a switch. A rotation of the operation body causes a great number of electrical contacts and separations of the switch. The operation as described above provides fine detection of an operation angle of the operation body to provide detection of the operation position with a high accuracy.

Switching device and remote control transmitter using the switching device

A remote control signal transmitter. A movable contact section includes a plurality of movable contacts and has elasticity. A wiring substrate has a movable contact section thereon. A crystal oscillator is mounted on the wiring substrate. A control section transmits a remote control signal in accordance with an operation of the movable contact section. In this structure, the movable contact section has a holding section that is abutted with the crystal oscillator.

An EL element includes a) an outer connecting part, b) a substrate comprising a light-transmitting and insulating sheet, c) a light-transmitting electrode layer formed on the substrate wholly or except the outer connecting part in a specific pattern, d) a light emitting layer formed on the light-transmitting electrode layer in a specific pattern, e) a dielectric layer formed on the light emitting layer in a specific pattern, f) a backside electrode layer formed on the dielectric layer in a specific pattern, g) an insulating layer formed on the backside electrode layer and the light-transmitting electrode layer except the outer connecting part, and h) a shielding layer formed on the insulating layer in a specific pattern. The light-transmitting electrode layer or the backside electrode layer is coupled with the shielding layer. The EL element is thus arranged so that it can have its outer connecting part of a reduced size, and so that coupling with the electronic device becomes easy.

A lighted switch sheet of the invention has a structure, which comprises a sheet having a plurality of movable contacts of a hemispherical shape disposed in a plurality of fixing holes, and an EL element affixed on an upper surface of the sheet. The EL element has an optically transmitting substrate provided with an optically transmitting electrode layer, light-emitting layer and back electrode layer formed in an overlapping manner on an underside surface thereof, and through holes of a size slightly smaller than an outer diameter of the movable contacts formed above their respective movable contacts. The invention provides for the lighted switch sheet with a small number of structural components and a simple structure at low cost.

Lighted switch sheet and lighted switch unit using the same

An EL element includes a light-transmitting substrate, a light-transmitting electrode layer over a first surface of the substrate, a luminescent layer over the light-transmitting electrode layer, a back electrode layer over the luminescent layer, and a waterproof insulating layer covering the light-transmitting electrode layer, the luminescent layer, and the back electrode layer. The EL element and a lighting unit have excellent resistance against water. The light-transmitting electrode layer, the luminescent layer, and the back electrode layer end before an outer periphery of the substrate as well as before an end face of the substrate at each hole or notch in the substrate. This arrangement provides the EL element and the lighting unit with the excellent resistance against water.

An illumination type push button switch includes EL element mounted to a bottom surface of board below switch contact . Board has through-holes A and B near the contact. EL element , which is capable of lighting plural push buttons simultaneously by surface-light emission, emits light via through-holes A and B of board to light push buttons and . The illumination type push button switch thus lighting the push buttons clearly includes a small number of components and is inexpensive.

Illuminated button switch

An EL sheet is used as a back light of an operating section of various electronic apparatuses. The EL sheet generates a stable click feel and is easily processed. A switch employing the EL sheet is also provided. An EL element layer is not formed at a bent section or its vicinity around a root section of a diaphragm. Only conductive patterns, which are coupled to a light-transmissible electrode layer and a back electrode layer respectively, are formed there. Instead of the conductive patterns, insulating film can be exposed there.

An elecroluminescence (EL) element emits light from its both surfaces. The EL element is formed by printing front electrode layer, luminescent layer made of high dielectric resin with luminous powder dispersed therein, and rear electrode layer made of light-transmittable resin with conductive powder dispersed therein on at least one of surfaces of insulating film.

Electroluminescent element comprising reduced number of parts and lighting unit having the same

A printing sheet can be easily peeled from a base film. A printing sheet can be easily and efficiently mounted on an appliance. It includes a base film as a base material, an adhesive applied on the surface of the base material, and a main body film adhered to the base material through the adhesive. The main body film may be peeled from the adhesive and base material. The main body film has a plurality of printing sheets, and each printing sheet of the printing sheets has a half-cut portion cutting off only the printing sheet without cutting off the base material, so that each printing sheet may be peeled from the adhesive and base material. Preferably, the base film has a greater thickness than the main body film. The half-cut portion has an end portion in a state being lifted from the base material having the adhesive.

A panel switch for use in various kinds of electronic appliance comprises (1) a first wiring board having a switch contact formed on an upper surface thereof, a locating hole, and a screw hole, (2) a push button unit made of insulation resin having a frame connecting a movable key button for depressing the switch contact, and disposed on the first wiring board, and (3) a cover for covering the push button unit, having a locating hole and a threaded hole. The push button unit is provided with a locating boss on both of an upper surface and a lower surface of the frame. In assembling the panel switch, the first wiring board and the cover are aligned with respect to each other through the push button unit by inserting the locating bosses on the upper and lower surfaces of the frame into their respective locating holes in the cover and the first wiring board. The panel switch is mounted into an appliance by making a positioning alignment of the panel switch by inserting the locating boss of the frame of the push button unit protruding from the upper surface of the cover into a depression provided in an inner surface of the appliance.
