A frequency control apparatus including a shielding board that is provided with a window for exposing some or all of a plurality of electrodes disposed on a piezoelectric substrate, and a shutter for opening and closing the window. An aperture pattern board is provided between the shielding board and a piezoelectric resonator. On the aperture pattern board, combinations of apertures are provided which correspond to the A electrodes exposed through the window on the shielding board at one time. After measuring the frequencies for respective elements and measuring the variations from the target frequency, the suitable pattern of apertures is selected from the aperture pattern board according to the amount of variations, and then the frequency control is carried out only on the elements selected through the apertures.

Method and apparatus for frequency control of piezoelectric components

The method of manufacturing electronic parts comprises the steps of: preparing a mother board; mounting element parts on the mother board; providing a thermosetting resin on a surface of the mother board surface on which the element parts are mounted; semi-curing the thermosetting resin so as to be in a range of a stage B condition of the thermosetting resin; splitting the mother board with the thermosetting resin into individual electronic parts each having a divided mother board, at least one element part and the thermosetting resin thereon; and heating the individual electronic parts so that the thermosetting resin in the stage B condition melts first and is then cured permanently.

Method for manufacturing electronic parts

A piezoelectric transformer includes a piezoelectric transforming element supported at its vibrational node region N on a base plate through a resilient adhesive member. Input electrodes of the piezoelectric transforming element are electrically connected to input electrode connecting lands of the base plate through a conductive adhesive which is adapted to be freely deformed according to the vibration of the piezoelectric transforming element. An output electrode of the piezoelectric transforming element is electrically connected to an output electrode connecting land of the base plate through a lead wire or a conductive adhesive.

Piezoelectric transformer including resilient adhesive support

A vibrating gyroscope includes a columnar vibrator, a driver and a detector. The columnar vibrator includes first and second piezoelectric substrates polarized in mutually opposite directions along the thickness directions thereof and stacked with each other. Two divided electrodes are formed on one main surface of the first piezoelectric substrate and spaced in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the first piezoelectric substrate, and a common electrode is formed on one main surface of the second piezoelectric substrate. The driver drives the vibrator in the thickness direction of the first and second piezoelectric substrates and is connected between the divided electrodes and the common electrode. The detector detects a displacement caused by bending vibration of the vibrator, and is connected to the divided electrodes. The vibrator has substantially the same resonant frequency in the two diagonal directions which diagonally connect four edges elongating in the longitudinal direction of the vibrator.

Vibrating gyroscope and adjusting method therefor

An electronic component suppresses stray capacitance and exhibits a high electromagnetic shielding effect, and eliminates flowing of a conductive agent into inappropriate areas and occurrence of a poor electrical connection. Electronic-component devices are mounted on an insulating substrate having input and output electrodes and a ground electrode. Then, a metallic cap is bonded and sealed onto the substrate via an insulating layer having holes formed therein so as to cover the electronic-component devices. A conductive layer connected to the ground electrode is disposed on part of the cap-mounting portion of the substrate and positioned at a level higher than the insulating layer so that the metallic cap is electrically connected via the conductive layer to the ground electrode.

Electronic component

Electronic-component devices are mounted on an insulating substrate having input and output electrodes and a ground electrode. Then, a metallic cap is bonded and sealed onto the substrate via an insulating layer to cover the electronic-component devices. A conductive layer connected to the ground electrode is disposed on part of the cap-mounting portion of the substrate and positioned at a level higher than the insulating layer so that the metallic cap is electrically connected via the conductive layer to the ground electrode.

A variable capacitor includes a generally cylindrical insulating case made of synthetic resin, with a stator terminal, which has springiness at its contact portion, insert-molded therein. A dielectric body, having a stator electrode formed thereon, is nonrotatably housed in the insulating case along with a rotatable metal rotor having a rotor electrode, and a non-rotatable rotor terminal. The rotor terminal has springiness at its contact portion and is formed with an aperture through which the metallic rotor may be rotated for adjustment.

Variable capacitor

A variable capacitor includes a container-like cylindrical casing in which a dielectric plate is rigidly placed on the bottom of the casing. A surface of the dielectric plate which is in contact with the bottom of the casing is laminated with a film of conductive material which is in turn connected to a terminal leg extending outwards from a cylindrical wall of the casing. A disc shaped rotator member is rotatably accommodated inside the casing and is enclosed by a cap member applied to the open end of the casing. A spring is provided between the rotator member and the cap member for urging the rotator member towards the dielectric plate. Another terminal leg extends from the cap member for the external connection.
