A filter device includes a dielectric substrate, first and second ground electrodes connected to a ground terminal, and resonators between the ground electrodes and electromagnetically coupled to each other. The ground electrodes are at different positions in a normal direction of the dielectric substrate. Each of the resonators includes a first capacitor electrode partially overlapping with the first ground electrode in plan view of the dielectric substrate, a second capacitor electrode partially overlapping with the second ground electrode in plan view of the dielectric substrate, and a via connecting the capacitor electrodes. The resonators include a first resonator connected to an input terminal, a second resonator connected to an output terminal, and a third resonator between the first and second resonators. Shunt electrodes are connected to the via and the ground terminal in the first and second resonators, respectively.

Filter device and radio-frequency front end circuit including the same

A band pass filter includes filter circuits, first and second intermediate circuits, and a first capacitor. The first intermediate circuit includes an inductor connected between second and third capacitors. The second intermediate circuit includes an inductor connected between third and fourth capacitors. Resonant circuits included in the filter circuit are connected to ground via a common capacitor. Resonant circuits included in the filter circuit are connected to the ground via a common capacitor. The first capacitor is connected between the first and second intermediate circuits.

Band pass filter

A band pass filter includes a first filter circuit, a second filter circuit, a first intermediate circuit, a second intermediate circuit, and a ninth capacitor. The first intermediate circuit includes a seventh inductor connected between a fifth capacitor and a sixth capacitor. The second intermediate circuit includes an eighth inductor connected between a seventh capacitor and an eighth capacitor. The ninth capacitor is connected between the first intermediate circuit and the second intermediate circuit.

A band pass filter is provided with a first filter circuit which includes a first resonant circuit including a first inductor and a second resonant circuit including a second inductor, a second filter circuit which includes a third resonant circuit including a third inductor and a fourth resonant circuit including a fourth inductor, and a fifth resonant circuit including a fifth inductor. The fifth inductor is electromagnetically coupled to each of the first inductor, the second inductor, the third inductor, and the fourth inductor.

In a band pass filter, a signal input into a first terminal is transmitted to a first LC resonator and a second LC resonator in this order and is then output from a second terminal. The band pass filter includes a third inductor and a third capacitor. A first end of the third inductor is electrically connected to the ground. The third capacitor is electrically connected between a second end of the third inductor and a node between the first LC resonator and the second LC resonator.

An LC resonator includes a laminate body including dielectric layers that are laminated in a lamination direction. The LC resonator includes a first capacitor, a second capacitor, and an inductor connected between the first capacitor and the second capacitor. A first end of the inductor is isolated in a direct current from a ground node by the first capacitor. A second end of the inductor is isolated in a direct current from the ground node by the second capacitor.

LC resonator and LC filter

An electronic component includes a first terminal, a second terminal, a first capacitor electrode, a second capacitor electrode, and a third capacitor electrode. The third capacitor electrode is connected to the first terminal. The first capacitor electrode defines a first capacitor along with the third capacitor electrode. The second capacitor electrode defines a second capacitor along with the third capacitor electrode. The second capacitor electrode is connected to the second terminal. A plurality of dielectric layers include a connection layer where a first portion of the first terminal and a second portion of the second terminal are disposed. An inductance of a path from the second capacitor electrode to the second portion is lower than an inductance of a path from the third capacitor electrode to the first portion.

Electronic component

A balun includes a first LC resonator, a second LC resonator, a third LC resonator, and a fourth LC resonator. The second LC resonator is magnetically coupled with the first LC resonator. The fourth LC resonator is magnetically coupled with the third LC resonator and electrically connected between a third terminal and a fourth terminal in parallel with the second LC resonator. Each of the first LC resonator and the second LC resonator has a resonant frequency that is a first resonant frequency. Each of the third LC resonator and the fourth LC resonator has a resonant frequency that is a second resonant frequency higher than the first resonant frequency.

Balun

A small-sized balance filter includes an unbalanced terminal and two pairs of balanced terminals and has a low signal insertion loss. An unbalanced terminal, a first balanced terminal including first and second terminals, and a second balanced terminal Rx including first and second terminals are provided. An unbalanced-side inductor is provided between the unbalanced terminal and the ground, first balanced-side inductors are provided between the first and second terminals of the first balanced terminal, second balanced-side inductors are provided between the first and second terminals of the second balanced terminal, and the unbalanced-side inductor is electromagnetic-field-coupled to each of the first and second balanced-side inductors.

Balance filter

A laminate defining a high-frequency laminated component includes a ground electrode on a bottom surface of a lowermost insulating layer. A second insulating layer includes an inner-layer ground electrode arranged over substantially the entire surface thereof. A portion from a third insulating layer to a fifth insulating layer is provided with a capacitor electrode defining a series capacitor of a ground impedance adjustment circuit and capacitor electrodes defining a first parallel capacitor and a second parallel capacitor. A sixth insulating layer has an inner-layer ground electrode provided over substantially the entire surface thereof. The inner-layer ground electrodes are arranged in electrical continuity with the ground electrode by via holes.

High-frequency laminated component and laminated high-frequency filter

An electronic component includes a spiral or substantially spiral first inductor extending along a stacking direction while turning around a ring-shaped or substantially ring-shaped path. The first inductor includes first inductor conductors and a first interlayer connecting conductor connected to each other. The first interlayer connecting conductor passes through some insulating layers. A second interlayer connecting conductor passes through some insulating layers, and is connected in series and is located within the ring-shaped path. A first capacitor conductor is disposed closer to one side of the stacking direction than the first inductor is. The first capacitor conductor is at least partially superposed on the ring-shaped path to define a first capacitor between the first capacitor conductor and the first inductor, and is superposed on a portion of a region surrounded by the ring-shaped path to be connected to the second interlayer connecting conductor.

A directional coupler includes a multilayer body including a plurality of stacked dielectric layers, a main line including a first main line portion and a second main line portion which are connected in series to each other in this order and that is provided in the multilayer body, and a sub-line including a first sub-line portion and a second sub-line portion which are connected in series to each other in this order, the first sub-line portion being electromagnetically coupled to the first main line portion, the second sub-line portion being electromagnetically coupled to the second main line portion, and the sub-line being provided on one side in a stacking direction with respect to the main line in the multilayer body. The second main line portion is provided on a dielectric layer that is different from a dielectric layer on which the first main line portion is provided and/or the second sub-line portion is provided on a dielectric layer that is different from a dielectric layer on which the first sub-line portion is provided.

Directional coupler

A variable-frequency resonance circuit includes first and second input/output terminals and a resonance circuit portion. The resonance circuit portion includes a first inductor and first and second LC series circuits. The resonance circuit portion is connected between a ground and a transmission line that connects the first and second input/output terminals. The first LC series circuit includes a second inductor and a variable capacitor connected in series with each other. The second LC series circuit includes a third inductor and a fixed capacitor connected in series with each other. The first and second LC series circuits are connected in parallel between the first inductor and a ground. The first and second inductors are configured such that positive-coupling mutual inductance is produced therebetween.

Variable-frequency resonance circuit and variable-frequency filter

A directional coupler includes a main line, a sub line, and a first parasitic element. The main line includes a first main line portion. The sub line includes a first sub line portion electromagnetically coupled with the first main line portion. The first parasitic element receives a first magnetic flux which is generated by the first main line portion when a current flows through the first main line portion and generates a second magnetic flux passing through the first sub line portion due to electromagnetic induction.
