The invention relates to a cladding resin composition curable by heat, ultraviolet radiation, an electron beam or the like. The composition comprises a polyoxyalkylene polyol phosphate ester (hydroxyl value: 10&#x2013;2,000 mg KOH/g) and a polymerizable or reactive functional group-containing compound. This composition is highly conductive as it is and, without incorporation of the conventional conductive additives, can be used successfully in the field of coatings and protective films where electric conductivity is a requisite.

Cladding resin composition

The invention relates to a cladding resin composition curable by heat, ultraviolet radiation, an electron beam or the like. The composition comprises a polyoxyalkylene polyol phosphate ester (hydroxyl value: 10-2,000 mg KOH/g) and a polymerizable or reactive functional group-containing compound. This composition is highly conductive as it is and, without incorporation of the conventional conductive additives, can be used successfully in the field of coatings and protective films where electric conductivity is a requisite.

The object is to provide a powdered metal injection compacting composition adapted to give compacts free from deformation, cracking or blistering without being compromised in compactability or debinder characteristic and without the aid of a special jig. The invention provides a method of improving the electrical conductivity of a resin article and a method of coating the article, with high productivity and. without using an inorganic conductive substance-containing primer. The technology comprises coating the substrate with a coating composition essentially consisting of a film-forming component, a nitrogen-containing compound of general formula (1), and a solvent and subjecting the coated surface to corona discharge treatment. The resultant film with improved electrical conductivity is then electrostatically coated.

A nitrogen-containing compound of the following general formula (1) is kneaded into a resin molding material, the kneaded mixture is molded and the surface of the resulting article is subjected to corona discharge treatment. Further, a coating material having electrostatic charges is sprayed and deposited on the article after the corona discharge treatment. This can provide a shaped resin article with remarkably improved electrical conductivity from a less electrically conductive resin, without substantially deteriorating the physical properties and the color of the article. Further, electrostatic coating excellent in coating efficiency, surface appearance, productivity or the like is possible. ##STR1## where R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group or alkenyl group of 5 to 21 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 represents --H or --CH.sub.3, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 may be the same or different and each represents an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, A represents --(CH.sub.2).sub.n -- or ##STR2## and n is 1 to 5.

Method of improving the electrical conductivity of a shaped resin

A nitrogen-containing compound of the following general formula (1) is kneaded into a resin molding material, the kneaded mixture is molded, and the surface of the resulting article is subjected to corona discharge treatment. Then, an electrostatically charged coating is sprayed on the article. ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group of 6-22 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 may be the same or different and each represents an alkyl group of 1-4 carbon atoms; n represents 2-3. In accordance with this invention, a shaped resin article with remarkably improved electrical conductivity can be obtained from a resin of low electrical conductivity substantially without affecting the physical properties and color of the resin and with high productivity. Furthermore, a resin article with high surface resistivity can be electrostatically coated with high coating efficiency and improved results in appearance and productivity substantially without affecting the physical properties of the resin.

Method of improving the electrical conductivity of shaped resin articles

The present invention provides a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet which can form a clear image having a sufficiently high density and excellent in various types of fastness, particularly durability such as light fastness, fingerprint resistance and which is plasticizer resistance according to a thermal transfer printing process wherein use is made of a heat migratable dye. The thermal transfer image-receiving sheet includes a substrate sheet and a dye-receiving layer formed on at least one surface of the substrate sheet, wherein the dye-receiving layer includes a product of a reaction of a polyoxyalkylene polyol with an organic polyisocyanate.

A photosensitive member suitable for use in an electrophotographic apparatus is constituted by an electroconductive support, and an intermediate layer and a photosensitive layer disposed in this order on the support. Electrophotographic photosensitive member and apparatus using same

An electrophotographic photosensitive member is constituted by an electroconductive support, and an intermediate layer and a photosensitive layer disposed in this order on the support. The intermediate layer comprises a reaction product of a mixture including a polyol compound [I], a polyol compound [II] having an OH equivalent different from that of the polyol compound [I] and a polyisocyanate compound. The polyol compound [I] is a polyether polyol compound having an OH equivalent of at least 500 and 2-60 OH groups per molecule; and the polyol compound [II] is a polyol compound having an OH equivalent of at most 300. The photosensitive member shows stable electrophotographic performances over wide environmental conditions from low temperature--low humidity to high temperature high humidity due to the intermediate layer.

Electrophotographic photosensitive member with polyether

An electrophotographic photosensitive member is constituted by an electroconductive support, and an intermediate layer and a photosensitive layer disposed in this order on the support. The intermediate layer comprises a reaction product of a mixture including a polyol compound [A] and a polyisocyanate compound[B] satisfying at least one of the following conditions (i) and (ii): (i) the polyol compound [A] is a high-molecular weight polyol compound, and (ii) the polyisocyanate compound is a polyoxyalkylene segmentcontaining polyisocyanate compound. The photosensitive member shows stable electrophotographic performances over wide environmental conditions from low temperature - low humidity to high temperature - high humidity due to the intermediate layer.

The invention relates to a polyurethane type curable coating composition. This coating composition comprises an organic compound having a number average molecular weight of 300 to 20,000, which is represented by formula (1), and a polyisocyanate compound.
