A vehicle communication system includes a vehicle-mounted device and a portable device. In the vehicle communication system, a transmission unit transmits a first to third radio signals having intensities weaker in this order, a measurement unit measures an intensity of each of the radio signals, and a determination unit that determines whether an intensity difference between any two of the radio signals among the radio signals measured by the measurement unit is larger than a threshold value. Control of a target mounted on the vehicle is permitted if the intensity difference is larger than the threshold value.

Vehicle communication system, vehicle-mounted device, and portable device

A vehicle control apparatus includes: a vehicle-mounted transmitter which transmits a first response request signal; a vehicle-mounted receiver which receives, from a portable device, a response signal to the first response request signal; and a controller which allows an operation for welcoming a user carrying the portable device to a vehicle according to a reception state of the response signal. When intermittently transmitting the first response request signal at predetermined intervals via the vehicle-mounted transmitter, the controller determines whether condition set in advance is established. When the condition is established, the controller transmits a second response request signal different from the first response request signal. When the vehicle-mounted receiver receives a response signal which is transmitted from the portable device as a response to the second response request signal, the controller continues to transmit the second response request signal via the vehicle-mounted transmitter.

Vehicle control apparatus

A vehicle control system includes a vehicle control apparatus, a first portable device, and a second portable device. The first portable device transmits a first signal to the vehicle control apparatus based on the fact that a first operation by a user is performed on the second portable device. When the vehicle control apparatus receives the first signal from the first portable device, the vehicle control apparatus intermittently transmits a second signal to the first portable device. The first portable device measures a signal strength of the second signal received from the vehicle control apparatus, based on the fact that a second operation by the user is performed on the second portable device after the first operation. The vehicle control apparatus or the first portable device sets, as a distance threshold, a distance between the first portable device and the vehicle calculated from the measured signal strength.

Vehicle control system

A vehicle control system includes a vehicle control apparatus mounted on a vehicle for controlling the vehicle, an electronic key carried by a user for performing communication with the vehicle control apparatus, and a portable device carried by the user for performing communication with the electronic key. When detecting user's getting in or out of the vehicle, the vehicle control apparatus determines a location of the electronic key based on communication with the electronic key. When the location of the electronic key is in the vehicle and the user has no intention of getting out of the vehicle, communication between the electronic key and the portable device is brought into a connected state. When the location of the electronic key is outside the vehicle and the user has no intention of getting in the vehicle, communication between the electronic key and the portable device is brought into a disconnected state.

A vehicle control device includes a plurality of LF transmitters transmitting response request signals that reach an area around a vehicle and an interior of a vehicle chamber, and a UHF receiver receiving a signal transmitted from a portable machine. The portable machine includes an LF receiver receiving the response request signal and a UHF transmitter transmitting a response signal. The LF receiver in the portable machine has a reception region in which the response request signals transmitted from at least two of the LF transmitters are receivable when the portable machine approaches the vehicle. Door locking/unlocking is permitted if the LF receiver in the portable machine receives the response request signals transmitted from at least two of the LF transmitters within a predetermined time period. In contrast, door locking/unlocking is inhibited if the LF receiver receives the response request signal transmitted from one of the LF transmitters.

Vehicle wireless communication system, vehicle control device, and portable machine

A vehicle control apparatus includes: a vehicle-mounted transmitter which transmits a first response request signal; a vehicle-mounted receiver which receives, from a portable device, a response signal to the first response request signal; and a controller which allows an operation for welcoming a user carrying the portable device to a vehicle according to a reception state of the response signal. When intermittently transmitting the first response request signal at predetermined intervals via the vehicle-mounted transmitter, the controller determines whether condition set in advance is established. When the condition is established, the controller transmits a second response request signal different from the first response request signal. According to whether the vehicle-mounted receiver receives, from the portable device, a response signal to the second response request signal, the controller stops transmission of the second response request signal and then suppresses transmission of the first response request signal.

A control system includes a portable device transmitting to a proximity control signal controlling locking/unlocking of an opening/closing body of the vehicle from near the vehicle, and a remote control signal controlling an engine remotely, intensity of the remote control signal higher than the proximity control signal, and a control device receiving a signal transmitted by the portable device. The portable device transmits by a same transmission antenna the whole of the proximity control signal at a single center frequency, and all of divided signals obtained by dividing the whole of the remote control signal into plural pieces at plural center frequencies. The control device receives by a same reception antenna the whole of the proximity control signal at the single center frequency, and all of the divided signals at center frequencies corresponding to frequencies used upon transmission of the divided signals by the portable device.

Portable device and vehicle control system

An in-vehicle system has a control device that controls a vehicle, and a charging device provided in the vehicle, in which a portable terminal is chargeable. The charging device has a power supply part that supplies power to the portable terminal, and a communication part that communicates with the portable terminal when the portable terminal is installed on the charging device. The control device has an authentication part that authenticates first authentication information received by the communication part from the portable terminal, and a vehicle control part that controls whether to permit starting of the vehicle based on an authentication result of the first authentication information.

Provided according to the invention is a recording control apparatus capable of more accurately recording an image of a person carrying an article to which an RFID tag is attached. When a reader/writer receives position information on an RFID tag attached to an article, this information is stored in an article information storing section. When a position determining unit detects an article located out of a designated area, a monitoring camera control section starts controlling recording. The monitoring camera control section estimates the movement direction of the article based on the time-sequential record of the position information on the article, specifies any of monitoring cameras to be operated based on the movement direction and the current position of the article, and controls the recording operation of the specified monitoring camera.
