An electromagnetic-wave shielding and light transmitting platecomprising an antireflection film, an electromagnetic-wave shielding film, a transparent substrate, and a near-infrared ray blocking film, wherein they are laminated and united by using intermediate adhesive layersA,B and a pressure-sensitive adhesiveC, and the peripheries thereof are covered by a conductive sticky tape. The electromagnetic-wave shielding filmhas a conductive foilformed by pattern etching on a substrate film, is processed to have antireflection function by forming a light absorbing layeron the conductive foil, and is subjected to a matting process to form small irregularities by roughening the surface of the light absorbing layer. A display panel is manufactured by bonding this electromagnetic-wave shielding filmto the front surface of a plasma display panel body. Accordingly, an electromagnetic-wave shielding and light transmitting plate and a display panel can be obtained which not only have excellent electromagnetic-wave shielding function but also provide high antireflection effect and have high level of transparency and high level of visibility, thereby providing distinct images.

A heat- and/or photo-curing adhesive composition to be used in production of a display unit integral with a touch panel by bonding the touch panel to the display unit, the adhesive composition comprising as a main component of one or more than one kind of copolymer selected from (1) ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer; (2) copolymer of ethylene, vinyl acetate, and acrylate and/or methacrylate monomer; (3) copolymer of ethylene, vinyl acetate, and maleic acid and/or maleic anhydride; and (4) copolymer of ethylene, acrylate and/or methacrylate monomer, and maleic acid and/or maleic anhydride.

Disclosed is an anisotropic conductive film which exhibits a conductivity in the thickness direction thereof by pressurizing the film in the thickness direction, the film including: an adhesive; and conductive particles dispersed in the adhesive; wherein the adhesive is a thermosetting or photosetting adhesive containing as a main component at least one kind selected from a group consisting of (a) a polymer obtained by acetalation of a polyvinyl alcohol, (b) a compound containing an allyl group, (c) a monomer containing an acryloxy group or methacryloxy group, and (d) a polymer obtained by polymerization of one or more selected from a group consisting of an acrylic monomer and a methacrylic monomer.
