In a flame retardant composition containing (poly)phosphoric acid amine salts, the amine excess ratio (mol %) represented by formula (I) is 0.01-10 mol %. In the formula, n represents the number of types of amines in the (poly)phosphoric acid amine salt, and A-Arepresent the maximum number of dissociation steps of each amine. Here, the maximum number of dissociation steps is the maximum number of dissociation steps with a base dissociation constant pKb at 25&#xb0; C. in the 0-13 range. B-Brepresent the number of mol of the amine when an amine is assumed to be present alone in the (poly)phosphoric acid amine salt.

Flame retardant composition and flame-retardant synthetic resin composition containing same

Disclosed is a flame retardant composition having excellent flame retardancy and processability, providing a flame-retardant synthetic resin composition including this flame retardant composition and having excellent flame retardancy and processability. Specifically, the following components are used in combination: as component (A), 20 to 50 parts by mass of at least one type of melamine salt selected from the group consisting of melamine orthophosphate, melamine pyrophosphate, and melamine polyphosphate; as component (B), 50 to 80 parts by mass of at least one type of piperazine salt selected from the group consisting of piperazine orthophosphate, piperazine pyrophosphate, and piperazine polyphosphate (the total of component (A) and component (B) is 100 parts by mass); and as component (C), 0.01 to 20.0 parts by mass of a bicyclophosphoric ester compound represented by the following general formula (1). The present invention provides a method of producing 2,4,6-tris(hydroxyphenyl)-1,3,5-triazine compound in which no rapid solidification or the like occurs and generation of by-products is suppressed, thereby enabling to reduce decrease in the yield. Ultraviolet absorber composition with improved heat resistance and synthetic resin composition containing the same

The present invention provides piperazine pyrophosphate represented by chemical formula (I) which has a sodium content of 10 ppm or lower and a process of producing the same. The piperazine pyrophosphate has high purity and provides a flame retardant composition exhibiting excellent flame retardancy. The process includes dehydration condensation of piperazine diphosphate and is able to produce the piperazine pyrophosphate at low cost.
