Provided is a water treatment apparatus that can uniformly irradiate water to be treated with ultraviolet light in sufficient irradiation quantity and in which a cleaning device and the like can be mounted easily. A water treatment apparatus that subjects water to be treated to ultraviolet treatment using ultraviolet light, the water treatment apparatus comprises: a flow channel through which water to be treated flows; and an ultraviolet irradiation portion that is located on an opposite side of the flow channel from an inlet side, and irradiates the water to be treated flowing in the flow channel with ultraviolet light via a window portion toward the inlet side, the window portion being formed by a transparent member, wherein the flow channel includes a diameter increase portion, and the diameter increase portion is provided with at least one of: a cleaning device used to clean the window portion; and a sensor.

Water treatment apparatus

A light-emitting module includes: a package substrate that is provided with a recessed portion having an opening at an upper surface thereof; a light-emitting device that is housed in the recessed portion; a window member that is provided on the upper surface such that the window member covers the opening; and a sealing portion that bonds the package substrate and the window member. The window member includes a lens portion facing the light-emitting device and a flange portion that projects from the lens portion and bonds to the sealing portion. The lens portion and the flange portion are formed of the same glass material.

Light-emitting module and method of manufacturing light-emitting module

Provided is a flowing-water sterilization system that includes a flow channel for passing seawater to be sterilized, and a light source emitting ultraviolet light to irradiate the seawater passing through the flow channel, wherein the light source includes a light-emitting diode that emits light not including infrared light. The light-emitting diode may emit ultraviolet light that has a wavelength of not less than 250 nm and not more than 350 nm and does not include light with a wavelength of not more than 200 nm. The system may further include a cooling unit for cooling the light source.

Flowing-water sterilization system

A sterilization apparatus is provided with: a light source, which has a semiconductor light-emitting element that emits ultraviolet light; a housing, which forms a flow passage through which a fluid subject to sterilization passes; a light receiving unit, which receives a portion of the ultraviolet light emitted from the light source and detects the amount of ultraviolet light that has been received; and a control unit, which controls the output of the semiconductor light-emitting element based on information regarding the amount of ultraviolet light acquired from the light receiving unit. The housing has an incidence portion on which ultraviolet light becomes incident and a reflection portion, which reflects the ultraviolet light at the inner surface thereof. The light receiving unit is provided at a position where the light receiving unit can receive the portion of ultraviolet light that has been transmitted through the reflection portion.

Provided is an aquaculture system, including a water tank holding seawater and housing shellfish or fish to be cultivated, a water intake unit for introducing the seawater into the water tank, a draining unit for draining the seawater in the water tank, a first bubble generator that generates and supplies microbubbles with a diameter of not less than 10 &#x3bc;m and not more than 100 &#x3bc;m in the water tank, and a second bubble generator that generates and supplies nanobubbles with a diameter of not more than 10 &#x3bc;m in the water tank, wherein the seawater in the water tank is exchanged by simultaneously carrying out introduction of the seawater using the water intake unit and drainage of the seawater in the water tank using the draining unit.

Aquaculture system

A water treatment device includes: a dual-pipe structure unit including an outer pipe, an inner pipe provided in the outer pipe, and a prevention member provided between the outer pipe and the inner pipe; and a light source unit radiating ultraviolet light in the axial direction to irradiate water subject to treatment flowing in the inner pipe. The inner pipe includes an opposing end facing the light source unit across a gap and an inflow end positioned opposite to the opposing end. The outer pipe includes an outflow port provided on an outer circumferential surface of the outer pipe. The water subject to treatment flowing out of the inner pipe via the gap flows out from the outflow port.

Water treatment device and water treatment method

A fluid sterilization device includes: a treatment flow passage in which a fluid subject to sterilization flows; a light source chamber that stores a light source for irradiating the fluid in the treatment flow passage with ultraviolet light; a window member that is provided between the treatment flow passage and the light source chamber and transmits ultraviolet light; and a pressure adjustment mechanism that adjusts a pressure in the light source chamber so as to reduce a difference between a pressure in the treatment flow passage and the pressure in the light source chamber.

Fluid sterilization device

A fluid sterilization device includes: a straight tube that defines a processing flow passage; a light source that radiates ultraviolet light toward the processing flow passage in an axial direction of the straight tube; and a light receiving part that receives a portion of the ultraviolet light output from the light source. The straight tube is made of a fluororesin. The straight tube includes a recess formed in a part of an outer wall surface of the straight tube such that a thin part is partly provided in the straight tube. The thin part has a radial thickness from an inner wall surface of the straight tube that is smaller than a thickness in other parts. The light receiving part is provided in the recess to receive the ultraviolet light transmitted through the thin part.
