A holding part of a cowl inner panel is disposed below a hood seal part of a cowl louver main body away therefrom by a predetermined distance, and the hood seal part is deformed by the impact force of a predetermined size or larger from the hood panel so as to reduce the deformation load on the hood panel. In the case impact force of a predetermined size or larger is applied on the hood panel, the impact force is transmitted to the hood seal part so that the hood seal part is deformed. Accordingly, the hood panel can be deformed drastically so that the impact to be applied from the hood panel onto the opposite party of the collision can be alleviated. Further, both end parts of a seal main body made from an elastic soft material, having a substantially U-shaped cross-section is fixed with a cowl louver and a flat plate part, respectively as well as the cowl louver and the flat plate part are fixed on the car body directly or indirectly. Since spread of the opening of the seal main body is limited, the restoration force can be realized by both effect of the shape and material in the case the seal main body is contacted with a hood with pressure. Therefore, even in the case heat deterioration is generated, a high sealing property can be maintained owing to the restoration force by the effect of the shape.

Assembly structure for cowl louver

A decorative tape adhesive molding in which a decorative tape are integrally fusion-bonded to a molding body. A molding body forming material is a non-polar TPE composition, the decorative tape is constituted by a transparent film layer, a backing layer, and a decorative portion layer interposed therebetween. The backing layer forming material is a resin composition containing the same kind of resin polymer as a hard phase-forming polymer of the non-polar TPE or containing a resin polymer having a melting point of not lower than 100&deg; C. and capable of being fusion-bonded to the hard phase-forming polymer of the non-polar TPE.

Decorative tape adhesive molding

A thermoplastic olefin elastomer molded article has a sealant contact portion coming into contact with a urethane sealant and is substantially made of thermoplastic olefin elastomer. At least the sealant contact surface of the sealant contact portion is made of a polyvinyl chloride layer or a thermoplastic polyurethane layer. At least the portion of the molded article adjoining the polyvinyl chloride layer or the thermoplastic polyurethane layer is made of a chlorinated thermoplastic olefin elastomer which is obtained by replacing part or the whole of the non-rigid phase of a thermoplastic olefin elastomer with chlorinated polyethylene and is capable of thermal fusion bonding to the polyvinyl chloride layer or the thermoplastic polyurethane layer.

Thermoplastic olefin elastomer molded article

A method of molding a hollow body to make the body nearly uniform in thickness around an internal opening thereof. A weir is provided in a central part of an opening portion of the mold cavity near an upstream side of the opening portion with respect to the direction of flow of a resin. Molten resin is injected into the cavity, and pressurized gas is thereafter injected into the molten resin in the cavity to make the internal opening in the resin. Since the weir is provided, the resin comes into uniform contact with the inner mold surface of the die at the opening portion as the resin flows into opening portion. The resin is uniformly cooled and solidified, starting with the inner surface and working inwardly, so that the hollow body is made nearly uniform in thickness around the internal opening.

Molded resin body and method for producing the same

In a radiator grill guard mounted on the front of a vehicle, a guard main body is a one-piece molded structure, shaped like a square ring, by using synthetic resin, for example, filler containing polypropylene. The guard main body is hollowed by a known blow molding method. A fog-lamp mounting part is provided at the middle of each of the vertically extending sections of the guard main body. A fog lamp is mounted on each fog-lamp mounting part with the aid of an L-shaped bracket. A plurality of, preferable two, plate-like ribs, that extend parallel to each other, are integrally formed within the inner apace of each vertically extending section, while also extending across that inner space. The plurality of plate-like ribs are longitudinally (vertically) extended between the upper and lower body mounting parts of each of the vertically extending sections. The plate-like ribs serve as reinforcing plates for reinforcing a portion of the vertically extending sections which include the body mounting parts and the fog-lamp mounting part.

Radiator grill guard for a vehicle

A ventilation system for ventilating the inside of a compartment such as the compartment of an automobile or the room of a building. The ventilation system prevents the contaminated outside air from flowing back into the inside of the compartment from an inside air outlet by magnetically attracting a mouth frame, which is composed of the inside air outlet and a peripheral edge, and a one-way valve for opening the inside air outlet only at the time of releasing the inside air of the compartment to the outside.

Ventilation system

An automotive spoiler includes a spoiler body, a spoiler stay and a stay cover, all of which are formed separately by injection molding. The stay includes at least one upright tubular spoiler body mounting portion having a closed upper end defining a mounting seat having a mounting hole and an open lower end integral with a vehicle-side mounting portion. The stay cover is secured and disposed between the spoiler body mounting portions and the spoiler body and has a skirt covering the stay.

Automotive spoiler

A ventilating apparatus includes a duct including an indoor air inlet port for taking in indoor air and an indoor air outlet port for discharging the indoor air to the outdoors, a one-way valve for opening the indoor air outlet port when discharging the indoor air to the outdoors, the one-way valve being disposed on the indoor air outlet port, and a filter for purifying contaminated outdoor air intruding from the outdoors by way of the indoor air outlet port. The indoor air can be discharged to the outdoors as smoothly as it is done with a conventional ventilating apparatus, and at the same time the contaminated outdoor air is filtered and thereafter introduced into a room as clean outdoor air. Hence, it is possible to prevent the inside of a room from being contaminated with contaminated outdoor air.

Ventilating apparatus

The air spoiler includes a blow molded air spoiler body with a plurality of recesses molded in its lower wall and spaced from one another across the back of the automobile body. The recesses each have rising laterally opposite walls and in each recess a securement device is located which is fixed to the spoiler body by molding of the lower wall of the spoiler body. Each securement device can have a screw-threaded fastener threaded into it for securing the spoiler on the rear of the automobile body.

Air spoiler

In an air spoiler of wing type made of plastics material to be installed on the rear of a vehicle body, an air spoiler body is molded integrally with a mounting assisting member formed between an upper surface and a lower surface of the air spoiler body and along the longitudinal direction thereof. A mounting member, constructed separately, has one end joined to the rear, i.e. inner, side of the upper surface of the air spoiler body and has its other end locked to the mounting assisting member. The air spoiler is tightened by bolts to the vehicle through the mounting member. Accordingly, sink marks, such as may appear with an integrally-formed mounting member are not produced on the upper surface of the air spoiler body during the molding process and strain such as such as would be evident by causing the appearance of wavy forms on the upper surface at the installation state is reduced.
