A composition for use in the oral cavity comprising a monophosphate represented by the following general formula (1), ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl group with 6 to 20 carbon atoms, and may have a substituted fluorine atom; one of X.sup.1 or X.sup.2 is a basic amino acid residual group, while the other is a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, an ammonium, an alkyl amine, an alkanol amine, or a basic amino acid residual group; and n is an integer from 0 to 4. The composition exhibits a superior action in protecting the tooth surface, is stable, and has a pleasant taste.

Phosphate activators for cyclohexenone herbicides

The biocidal effect of a biocide can be enhanced with the use of an effective amount of the auxiliary compound having the formula (I). ##STR1## wherein at least one of R.sup.1, R.sup.2, and R.sup.3 represents a straight-chain or branched alkyl or alkenyl group having 8 to 30 carbon atoms while other(s) represent a group or a combination selected from among ##STR2## wherein n ranges from 1 to 5; R.sup.4 represents a --CH.sub.3 or --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.3 group; and

A quaternary ammonium salt of the general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 represent each ##STR2## or an alkyl group having one to four carbon atoms provided that at least of them is ##STR3## wherein R.sub.5 represents an alkyl or alkenyl group having four to 22 carbon atoms, and R.sub.6 represents an alkyl or alkenyl group having two to 20 carbon atoms; R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 represent each an alkyl group having one to four carbon atoms or --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 OH; and X.sup..crclbar. represents a counter anion: is an effective miticide and causes no chemical damage to fruit trees and vegetables.

Miticide

Disclosed is an agricultural chemical composition in the form of an aqueous suspension, which comprises fine particles of a water-insoluble physiologically active substance having a melting point of 15.degree. to 70.degree. C., which are stably dispersed in water by a water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer comprising at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of unsaturated carboxylic acids and derivatives thereof as the indispensable component, as a dispersant, and a phthalic acid ester as an agent for preventing precipitation of crystals. In this agricultural chemical composition, the phthalic acid ester bleeds on the surface of the physiologically active substance to modify the surface, and the storage stability of the composition in the form of a suspension is highly improved.
