A vehicle control system includes a plurality of zone ECUs and a central processing unit. Each zone ECU outputs a blinking timing signal for blinking a blinker installed in a vehicle on the basis of a blinking control signal received from the central processing unit. Furthermore, the zone ECUs are configured to be connected to each other via a local network, share blinking timing information of the blinker with another zone ECU via the local network, and adjust a blinking timing signal of the zone ECUs on the basis of the shared information.

Vehicle control system

An in-vehicle network system includes a central ECU, which generates a control signal for a plurality of devices, and a plurality of zone ECUs, which relay a control signal from the central ECU. The plurality of devices include a first specific device (power window device, etc.), which is a device unrelated to drive control or the like of a vehicle, and which includes a sub controller (third signal processing unit, etc.) capable of activating an actuator based on an ON signal from at least one or some of the sensors. The first specific device is configured to control the actuator by using the sub controller in occurrence of abnormality of communication between the central ECU and the first specific device.

In-vehicle network system

A design method for a vehicle control system includes constructing a daisy chain trunk network by a central processing unit and a plurality of zone ECUs, calculating a first activation time from when a network is sequentially activated from a predetermined zone ECU to when the central processing unit is activated, calculating a second activation time from when a network is sequentially activated from the central processing unit to when the zone ECU is activated, and determining a connection destination of an information acquisition unit and a connection destination of an in-vehicle device from the zone ECUs in a manner that a total time of the first activation time and the second activation time is less than a predetermined delay time.

Vehicle control system and vehicle control system design method

An in-vehicle power supply structure, in which a vehicle is divided into a plurality of zones and a power supply hub for connecting an electronic device is provided in each of the zones, includes a break detection wire routed along a power supply wire, for detecting damage to the power supply wire caused by an external force acting on the vehicle by its own damage. Both ends of the break detection wire are connected to power supply hubs placed adjacent to each other.

In-vehicle power supply structure

A vehicle control system includes a central ECU configured to calculate target outputs of actuators, and relay devices each disposed in a communication path between the central ECU and a corresponding actuator among the actuators. The plurality of relay devices includes a specific relay device configured transfer a control signal from the central ECU only to a fixed actuator that is an actuator not related to driving control, braking control, and steering control of a vehicle. The specific relay device is configured to output, to the fixed actuator coupled to the specific relay device, one of a signal for setting the fixed actuator in an operating state or a signal for setting the fixed actuator in a non-operating state, in response to detection of an abnormality in the central ECU. The specific relay device does not have a function of diagnosing an abnormality in the specific relay device.

A vehicle control system includes a central ECU configured to calculate target outputs of actuators, and relay devices each disposed in a communication path between the central ECU and a corresponding actuator among the actuators. The relay devices include a specific relay device capable of communicating with a specific actuator related to driving control, braking control, or steering control of a vehicle. The specific relay device among the relay devices includes a specific abnormality diagnosis unit configured to diagnose an abnormality in the specific relay device, and a backup calculation unit capable of calculating a control amount of the specific actuator coupled to the specific relay device. A relay device other than the specific relay device among the relay devices does not have a self-diagnosis function.

An on-vehicle network system includes, for each of a plurality of zones defined in a vehicle, a zone control unit, a power distributor connected to an on-board battery, and a plurality of electronic devices supplied with power from the power distributor via a common power supply line. Each of individual relays is interposed between one of the electronic devices and a body ground of the vehicle to individually turn on and off connection between the one of electronic device and the body ground based on a control signal from the zone control unit.

Onboard network system

The present disclosure includes device controllers that output control signals to in-vehicle devices based on a target motion set by a target motion setter based on input from the sensors, and a device failure diagnostic unit provided between the device controllers and the in-vehicle devices in a communication path of an arithmetic unit, in which the device failure diagnostic unit has a device diagnostic table in which the in-vehicle devices associated with each function are specified for each function of the vehicle, and diagnoses a failure of the in-vehicle devices based on output of the in-vehicle devices and the device diagnostic table.

Vehicle failure diagnostic device

Electronic devices include: a first electronic device capable of being always supplied with power; and a second electronic device capable of being supplied with the power through an operation by an occupant. Each of power supply hubs is located near the first electronic device, and connected to a battery or another one of the power supply hubs by one of main power supply lines. Each of the first and second electronic devices is connected to nearby one of the power supply hubs. Each of zone ECUs outputs a control signal to one of power supply ICs so as to distribute, to the first and second electronic devices, the power supplied to one of the power supply hubs by one of the main power supply lines.

Vehicle-mounted network system

A network hub device used for building a simple network configuration in an in-vehicle network system is provided. A network hub device () is provided in a vehicle body and is coupled to a trunk network through which a digital control signal is transmitted. A sub hub device () performs input/output of a signal to/from an in-vehicle device provided in a partial body assembled to the vehicle body via a movable portion. The sub hub device () is provided in the partial body and the digital control signal is transmitted/received between the sub hub device () and the network hub device () via a wire harness passing through the movable portion.

A network hub device used for building a simple network configuration in an in-vehicle network system is provided. A network hub device () is coupled to a trunk network and performs input/output of a signal to/from an in-vehicle device via a plurality of device side communication ports. A signal conversion section () configured to perform signal conversion between a digital control signal and an analog control signal is provided between a trunk side communication port and an analog port. A second signal conversion section () configured to perform signal conversion between a digital control signal and an analog control signal is provided between a digital port () and a predetermined in-vehicle device ().

Network hub device

A design method for a vehicle control system includes designing in such a manner that an allowable delay time that is allowed from when operation information is input to an information acquisition unit to when a control signal of an actuator to be operated is output is set in the actuator, and in a case where the allowable delay time is less than a predetermined reference time, an operation-signal generation unit of the actuator is provided in a zone ECU disposed in each predetermined zone of a vehicle and to which the actuator to be operated is connected.

Vehicle control system and design method for vehicle control system

A central control device and a plurality of relay devices constitute a backbone network. Each of the relay device includes: a backbone-side communication port connected to a backbone network; a plurality of device-side communication ports configured to input and output a signal to/from an onboard device; and a first interface conversion device configured to perform interface conversion between the backbone-side communication port and the device-side communication ports. The device-side communication ports include a plurality of general-purpose communication ports to which a common input circuit and/or output circuit is connected. A predetermined first onboard device is directly connected to the general-purpose communication ports, whereas a predetermined second onboard device is connected to the general-purpose communication ports via a predetermined first onboard device.

Vehicle onboard network system

An in-vehicle network system includes an upper device, a first intermediate device, and a first lower device. The first intermediate device includes a first communication unit and a second communication unit that are arranged redundantly and that have a communication function. The first intermediate device is configured to communicate with the upper device via a plurality of communication paths. The first lower device is connected to the first communication unit and the second communication unit of the first intermediate device.

An in-vehicle network system includes: an upper device; a first intermediate device that is connected to the upper device directly or via at least one device and is configured to communicate with the upper device using a first communication system; a second intermediate device that is connected to the upper device directly or via at least one device and is configured to communicate with the upper device using a second communication system; and a first lower device that is directly connected to the first intermediate device and is configured to communicate with the first intermediate device using the first communication system, and that is directly connected to the second intermediate device and is configured to communicate with the second intermediate device using the second communication system.
