An actuator whose total length can be reduced is provided. An actuator () includes: a casing (); a hollow shaft () rotatably supported by the casing () via a bearing (), the hollow shaft () including a bottom portion (); a screw shaft () coupled to the bottom portion () of the hollow shaft (), the screw shaft () sharing a common center line with the hollow shaft (); and a nut () threadedly connected to the screw shaft (). The nut () is capable of moving in an axial direction of the screw shaft () to enter between the hollow shaft () and the screw shaft ().

Actuator or suspension

Provided is a ball screw device which enables easy production and assembly of a nut member and formation of an endless circulation path for balls in the nut member with high accuracy. The nut member includes a plurality of nut components arranged in a superposed manner along an axial direction of a screw shaft. At a boundary portion between the nut components which are adjacent to each other, a raceway path for balls extending around a periphery of the screw shaft is formed. A joining surface of each of the nut components used for joining with another one of the nut components includes: a raceway forming surface which is annularly formed around the through hole; and an abutment surface for joining which is formed on an outer side in a radial direction with respect to the raceway forming surface.

Ball screw device

A suspension is provided which can not only generate a damping force between sprung mass and unsprung mass but also steer a wheel. A suspension includes: a shaft coupled to sprung mass of a vehicle, the shaft having a screw groove and a spline groove formed thereon; a ball screw nut assembled to the shaft via a ball; a ball spline nut assembled to the shaft via a ball; a ball screw-specific motor connected to the ball screw nut; a ball spline-specific motor connected to the ball spline nut; and a case coupled to unsprung mass of the vehicle, the case being configured to hold the ball screw-specific motor and the ball spline-specific motor. The ball spline-specific motor rotates the ball spline nut and the shaft relative to the case.

Suspension

A lubricant supplying device has: a mounted member that is mounted to a moving member, which moves along a rail, and that is disposed with an interval between the mounted member and concave portions that are provided in the rail along a length direction of the rail; and a supply path unit that is removably attached to the mounted member, wherein the supply path unit has an introducing port into which a lubricant is supplied, supplying members that project out from the mounted member toward the concave portions and supply the lubricant to rolling surfaces of the concave portions on which rolling bodies that are provided at the moving member roll, and a tubular member that connects the introducing port and the supplying members, and the mounted member has an accommodating portion that is concave and accommodates the supply path unit from the length direction of the rail.

Lubricant supplying device and guiding device

A seal member for a ball screw device, which is fixed to an axial end surface of a nut member of the ball screw device and is configured to seal a gap between the nut member and the screw shaft, the seal member including: a plurality of base plates which each have a through hole having an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of the screw shaft; a spacer plate, which is sandwiched between two base plates adjacent to each other, and has a seal accommodation hole having an inner diameter larger than an inner diameter of a through hole of the base plates; and a seal plate, which has a shaft-fitting hole corresponding to a sectional shape of the screw shaft in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction, and is arranged in the seal accommodation hole of the spacer plates.

Seal member for ball screw device

Provided is a motion guide device load measuring system that can accurately measure loads acting on a motion guide device in use. The load measuring system includes a position detecting unit () for detecting the position of a sliding member () relative to a track member () in a direction of relative movement, and at least one sensor (--) for detecting the relative displacement of the sliding member () relative to the track member () in a radial direction and/or a horizontal direction. A calculating unit () calculates loads acting on the motion guide device (), in association with the position of the sliding member (), on the basis of position information detected by the position detecting unit () and displacement information detected by one or more of the sensors (--).

Motion guide device load measuring system and load measuring method, and motion guide device service life calculating method

A screw apparatus with a seal ring is provided which has a reduced number of components and is easy to be assembled. The screw apparatus includes a screw shaft, a nut that includes a through-hole penetrated by the screw shaft and threadedly engages with the screw shaft via a rolling element, seal rings that include holes fitting the shape of a cross-section of the screw shaft, the cross-section being perpendicular to an axis thereof, and prevent the entry of dust into the inside of the nut, and/or prevent the leaking of lubricant in the nut, and a cap attached to the nut, the cap including protrusions fitted into indentations of the seal rings to effect positioning of the seal rings in a circumferential direction, the cap including a step in contact with the seal rings to effect positioning of the seal rings in an axial direction.

Screw apparatus

This ball join includes a ball stud with a spherical ball section and a shaft-shaped shaft section and a holder that rotatably bolds the ball section, and has a machining surface subjected to cutting in a welded portion obtained by welding the ball section and the shaft section, and the machining surface has a curve-shaped first corner section. In addition, a method for manufacturing this ball joint includes a welding step of welding the ball section and the shaft section and a cutting step of forming the machining surface by subjecting the welded portion obtained by welding the ball section and the shaft section to cutting, and the cutting step executes processing including forming the curve-shaped first corner section on the machining surface. Consequently, a ball joint with a large oscillation angle can be obtained.

Ball joint and method for manufacturing ball joint

A disclosed screw device provides an allowance for the accuracy of a recess in an end surface of a nut. A nut has a communicating hole communicating in an axial direction, and is provided at an axial end surface of the nut with a recess communicating with the communicating hole. A circulation member including a turn-around path is placed in the recess. When the circulation member is placed in the recess, the turn-around path of the circulation member is linked to a loaded rolling element rolling groove and the communicating hole of the nut to form a circulation path of a rolling element. A clearance between the circulation member and a wall surface of the recess permits the circulation member to move. The circulation member placed in the recess is not fixed in the recess, and is covered with a lid member to be attached to the nut.

Ball joint

A ball joint is manufactured by molding a holder through casting by using a ball as a core and joining a shaft member to the ball after the casting through electric resistance welding. The ball joint includes: the ball; a resin sliding contact member including a first opening portion and a second opening portion that expose a spherical surface of the ball in opposite directions; the holder molded through the casting by using the ball and the resin sliding contact member as a core, the holder being obtained by integrally molding a closing portion that is held in contact with a part of the ball, which projects from the second opening portion of the resin sliding contact member; and the shaft member joined to another part of the ball, which is exposed from the first opening portion of the resin sliding contact member, through the electric resistance welding.

Ball joint and manufacturing method therefor

Provided is a method of manufacturing a spherical bearing having an inside member with a metal ball portion and an outside member having a ball support portion enclosing and supporting the ball portion of the inside member and connected to the inside member swingably or rotatably relative to each other, including the steps of performing injection molding in which the ball portion of the inside member is inserted as a core in a mold to mold a resin liner covering the ball portion, molding the outside member covering the resin liner by a casting in which the ball portion and the resin liner are inserted as a core in the mold, and after the completion of the casting, heating the resin liner covering the ball portion through the ball portion of the inside member.

Method of manufacturing a spherical bearing

Provided are a spherical bearing in which a ball portion () of an inside member () can be sealed inside an outside member () without employment of casting, and the outside member () and the inside member () are coupled to each other with high strength, and which can be downsized, and a manufacturing method for the same. The spherical bearing includes: an inside member () having a metal ball portion (); a resin liner () covering the ball portion () of the inside member () and held in sliding contact with the ball portion (); and an outside member () molded outside the resin liner () by a forging process and held in close contact with an entire of an outer peripheral surface of the resin liner () without being brought into contact with the inside member (), for undetachably enclosing and holding the resin liner ().
