A fluorescent labeling reagent of the present invention includes an inorganic fluorescent particle and a material (A) having a material (B) of biological origin adsorbed or bound thereto. The inorganic fluorescent particle is integrated with the material (A) so as to form the reagent of the present invention. The inorganic fluorescent particle used in the present invention is capable of emitting light with a wavelength of 650 nm to 1600 nm in the infrared region or the near-infrared region which can be detected by means of Si&#x2014;CCD or InGaAs&#x2014;PD and can penetrate an HO rich sample when excited by light with a wavelength of 650 nm or longer which has the shortest transparent wavelength of AlInGaP-LD including oxygen adsorption type hemoglobin used for DVDs etc.

Fluorescent labeling reagent

There is provided composite nano-particles comprising nano-crystal particles dispersed stably and individually in suspension in high concentration without mutual aggregation of the nano-particles. A determined amount of pure water or deionized water is poured into a reactor, into which is introduced nitrogen gas at rate of 300 cm/min for a given time while agitating with a stirrer to remove dissolved oxygen in the pure water, allowing to stand in an atmosphere of nitrogen. Next, the inside of the reactor is maintained in an atmosphere of nitrogen and sodium citrate as a dispersion-stabilizing agent, an aqueous solution of MPS as a surface-modifying agent, an anion aqueous solution for co-precipitation as a nano-crystal and a cation aqueous solution are added, in that order. Then, an aqueous solution of sodium silicate is added to the reactor, which is then allowed to stand in the dark place in an atmosphere of nitrogen after agitation. At that time, a vitrification-inhibiting agent may be added in order to inhibit the growth of glass layer.

Composite nano-particle and method for preparing the same

The object of the present invention is to provide a phosphor which is excellent in transparency, light transmittance, luminescence efficiency and luminescent intensity and at the same time, processes for producing the phosphor. Preferred embodiments of the invention include a phosphor characterized in that phosphor particles represented by the general formula [(L)(M)(N)O:Y] are covered with an organic compound bearing at least one functional group at a terminal or side chain, wherein L is a metallic element such as Zn; M is a metallic element such as Al; N is Si or Ge; O is oxygen; Y is at least one activating agent such as Mn, Eu, Cuor Yb; and a, b, c and d are each a value satisfying the relationships 0&#x3c;a&#x2266;2, 0&#x2266;b&#x2266;2, 0&#x2266;c&#x2266;2 and 2a+3b+4c=2d.

Phosphor and production process for the same

The present invention provides a method of synthesizing hydroxy apatite comprising the steps of preparing a mixed material slurry by dispersing calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH) ) powder into a phosphoric acid (H PO ) solution; conducting a mechanochemical milling treatment in which shearing force and compressive force based on a centrifugal force of a mechanical rotating body are imparted to the mixed material slurry, and reacting the calcium hydrate component with the phosphoric acid component under normal temperature and pressure thereby to prepare hydroxy apatite (HAp) powder having fine crystals. According to the structure described above, there can be provided a method of synthesizing hydroxy apatite having fine and uniform particle size which can be directly synthesized under normal temperature and pressure in a short time through simple and single process.

Method for synthesis of hydroxyapatite, and hydroxyapatite complex and method for preparing the same

The present invention provides a method of manufacturing calcium phosphate powder comprising the steps of preparing a mixed material by mixing calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH) ) powder and calcium hydrogenphosphate powder so that a molar ratio (Ca/P) of calcium to phosphor is set to a range of 1.45-1.72; conducting a mixing/milling treatment to the mixed material to cause a soft-mechanochemical compositing reaction thereby to prepare a calcium phosphate precursor; and conducting a heat treatment to thus obtained precursor at a temperature of 600&deg; C. or more thereby to prepare calcium phosphate powder. According to the present invention, the manufacturing process is simple and the manufacturing cost can be remarkably reduced. In addition, fine calcium phosphate powder excellent in characteristics can be easily manufactured in a short time.

Method for producing calcium phosphate powder

A manufacturing method for a nanocrystal light emission substance having a nano structure crystal, doped with an activator and cured with ultraviolet light. The nanocrystal light emission substance is synthesized by a liquid phase co-precipitation process. During the liquid phase reaction, an organic acid, such as acrylic acid or methacrylic acid, is added. Alternatively, a high molecular organic acid, such as polyacrylic or polymethacrylic acid, polystyrene, is added after the liquid phase reaction. The resulting substance is then cured with ultraviolet light.

Method for producing light-emitting substance

An organic acid salt is deposited on the surface of a solder powder containing Sn and Zn. Alternatively, 0.5 to 10 wt. % of a nonionic surfactant is added to a flux. By a method comprising such a procedure, provided are a lead-free solder powder and solder paste having good soldering characteristics wherein the reaction of an activating component with an alloy component in a flux is suppressed.
