A communication device includes a communication connector, a communication control circuit, and a common mode filter. The communication control circuit controls communication that is established by way of the communication connector. The common mode filter is connected to each of the communication control circuit and the communication connector to relay the communication. Letting a wavelength corresponding to a clock frequency of an electric signal sent out from the communication control circuit be denoted as λ, an electrical length of a signal path at which resonance is produced by a reflected wave resulting from reflection of the electric signal by the common mode filter is closer to an even multiple of λ/2 than to an odd multiple thereof.

Communication device

Disclosed is an electronic apparatus including a printed board, a plurality of connectors mounted on the printed board, a plurality of communication control circuits that is mounted on the printed board and that controls communication through corresponding ones of the plurality of connectors, and a shield member disposed to face the printed board, in which an annular ground pattern surrounding, without interruption, a shield area including the plurality of communication control circuits is formed on a front surface of the printed board, the plurality of connectors is all disposed outside the ground pattern surrounding the shield area, and the shield member covers the shield area and is fixed to the printed board such that a portion facing the ground pattern is electrically connected to the ground pattern.

Electronic apparatus

An electronic device includes a printed board, a frame for fixing the printed board, a connector fixed at a position along one side of a front surface of the printed board, and an electrically conductive member. An indented portion is formed at a position of the one side facing the connector. The electrically conductive member has a portion arranged in the indented portion, and is expanded and contracted in a direction along the one side and a thickness direction of the printed board by an external force. The electrically conductive member has an upper surface, a lower surface, and a side surface in contact, respectively, with a shell of the connector, one surface of the frame, at least one side-surface portion which is part of a portion forming the indented portion and extends along a direction crossing the one side. The electrically conductive member is electrically connected with a ground of the printed board via the side-surface portion.

Electronic device

Provided is an electronic apparatus including a printed board having on a front surface thereof a first region and a second region in each of which a circuit element is disposed, and a shield member formed by a single metal sheet and disposed such as to face the front surface of the printed board. The shield member has a first section that faces the first region and a second section that faces the second region, and at least a boundary section of the first section and the second section is electrically connected to a ground pattern of the printed board, the ground pattern being formed between the first region and the second region.

Electronic equipment includes a printed board having a front surface on which a ground pattern is formed and a shield member disposed opposed to the front surface of the printed board. The shield member has a strip-shaped region that is opposed to the ground pattern and protrudes toward the printed board, and is fastened to the printed board by screws that pass through a respective one of a plurality of screw holes made in the strip-shaped region. Either one of the shield member and the printed board has a protruding part that is formed projectingly toward the other and causes the strip-shaped region and the ground pattern to get contact with each other at a position sandwiched by adjacent two screw holes in the strip-shaped region in plan view.

Electronic equipment

A communication apparatus includes a signal line that connects an antenna and a wireless communication module to each other, the signal line having a portion where the signal line is divided in part into sections, with an adjacent portion adjacent to the divided portion of the signal line being greater in line width than a main body portion of the signal line; a first ground pattern disposed to face the main body portion; and a second ground pattern disposed to face the adjacent portion. The distance from the adjacent portion to the second ground pattern is longer than the distance from the main body portion to the first ground pattern. The antenna and the wireless communication module are connected to each other through the signal line and a solder adhered to the adjacent portion.

Communication apparatus

To provide an information communication device including an antenna that can singly transmit and receive both of vertically polarized waves and horizontally polarized waves with a sufficient strength. The information communication device includes a casing and the antenna disposed within the casing. The antenna includes a plate-shaped planar portion having a feeding point. The planar portion includes a conductive portion extending in a direction of obliquely intersecting a bottom surface of the casing, and a ground portion connected to one end of the conductive portion.

Disclosed herein is an electronic device including: a connector configured to connect to another electronic device via a wired communication link; and a reference member whose potential is maintained at a constant level, wherein the connector includes a housing which houses connection terminals therein, and an electrically conductive protrusion joined to at least a distal end portion of the housing, the electrically conductive protrusion including at least a portion which is elastic, and electrically connected to the reference member.

Provided is an information communication device, including an enclosure, and an antenna disposed in the enclosure so that at least one surface of a radiation plate is oblique with respect to a bottom surface of the enclosure, the antenna having a feeding point located on the surface that is oblique with respect to the bottom surface.

An adapter apparatus has a function of determining the type of a memory card, by communicating with the memory card at plural communication speeds and determining whether or not there is a response therefrom. A communication speed setting unit has a function of setting plural communication speeds for communication with the memory card, and a response determining unit determines whether or not there is a response to a type determination signal. A type determining unit determines the type of the memory card based on the communication speed set by the communication speed setting unit and whether or not there is a response to the type determination signal sent at the communication speed.

A technology for charging the battery of a terminal device with efficiency. In a wireless game controller, a charge control unit supplies electric power from an external power supply to a battery. A communication management unit receives a drive request signal to a vibrating motor. A motor control unit supplies a drive current to the vibrating motor in accordance with the drive request signal. The charge control unit performs charge control for the battery in a first mode when the communication management unit does not receive the drive request signal, and performs charge control for the battery in a second mode when the communication management unit does receive the drive request signal. The charge control unit performs the charge control for the battery in the first mode using a charging current higher than that in the second mode.
