An electric connector includes a fixing-side contact having a vertical portion of plate shape, a relay contact having a pair of front arms and a pair of rear arms, and an insulator having a relay contact insertion groove, the vertical portion of the fixing-side contact being sandwiched between the pair of rear arms so that the relay contact is held to be swingable with respect to the fixing-side contact and is electrically connected to the fixing-side contact, an opening width of an opening of the relay contact insertion groove of the insulator being shorter than an opening width at ends of the pair of front arms located on a forward side in a fitting direction.

Electric connector

A connector has a mounting portion of a plate-like shape and a cable fitting portion protruding from the mounting portion in a first direction. The mounting portion has a fixing portion disposed on a first flat surface faced to the first direction and adapted to be fixed to a board, and a flat portion disposed on a second flat surface faced to a second direction opposite to the first direction. The cable fitting portion has a receiving portion adapted to receive a cable, an opening portion formed at one end of the receiving portion and allowing the cable to be inserted therethrough, and a cable contact portion to be electrically connected to the cable.

Cable connector with plate-like mounting portion

A connector assembly includes a first connector and a second connector, the first connector having a first contact and a mounting portion together with a projecting portion which passes through a through-hole of a connector holding plate to project on a side of a second face of the connector holding plate along a fitting direction when the first connector is mounted on a first face of the connector holding plate through the mounting portion, the second connector having a second contact and a second contact holding portion which has a first connector receiving portion extending along the fitting direction and an abutment portion formed at an end of the second contact holding portion on a side of the first connector and configured to be abutted against the second face of the connector holding plate.

Connector assembly and connector assembly mounted structure

A connector is connectable with a conductive core of a cable which is inserted from a front of the connector along a front-rear direction. The connector comprises a shell and a spring member. The shell is made of a metal. The shell has an operation portion and a contact portion. The spring member is made of another metal which is harder than the metal of the shell. The spring member has an operated portion and a press portion. When the operation portion moves the operated portion, the press portion is moved away from the contact portion. The press portion presses the conductive core against the contact portion under a connection state where the conductive core is connected with the connector.

Connector

A connector has an insertion opening for a cable at a front end of thereof in a front-rear direction. The connector has a bottom portion, a first section and a second section. The bottom portion has opposite ends in a lateral direction perpendicular to the front-rear direction. The first section and the second section extend from the opposite ends, respectively, of the bottom portion. The first section and the second section overlap with each other so that the first section, the second section and the bottom portion form the insertion opening. The first section is formed with a first engagement portion. The second section is formed with a second engagement portion. The first engagement portion and the second engagement portion face each other in a perpendicular direction perpendicular to the front-rear direction. Even if at least one of the first section and the second section receives a force forcing the first section and the second section to be away from each other in the lateral direction, the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion are brought into abutment with each other in the perpendicular direction.

Connector and illuminating device

A receptacle connector includes a receptacle contact corresponding to a plug contact, a receptacle housing that holds the receptacle contact, and an assistant fitting attached to the receptacle housing, and is mounted on a connector mounting surface of a circuit board. The assistant fitting includes at least a held portion, a fixing portion, and a vertical displacement regulating portion. The held portion is a portion that is held by the receptacle housing. The fixing portion is a portion that is hooked to the plug housing to thereby fix the plug connector to the receptacle connector. The vertical displacement regulating portion is a portion that regulates a displacement of the fixing portion in a direction away from the connector mounting surface of the circuit board.

Wire-to-board connector

A semiconductor device package assembly which increases production efficiency of semiconductor devices by enabling the number of semiconductor device packages held by a carrier to be increased. A predetermined area of a first housing molded of white-colored resin, which holds a plurality of bent contacts, is covered by a second housing molded of black-colored resin, and a plurality of second housings are supported by a secondary molding carrier in high density. A linking portion of each contact and one or both of the first and second housings are integrated by insert molding.

Electrical connector

A connector assembly includes a receptacle mounted on a first connector mounting surface of a first substrate; a receptacle mounted on a second connector mounting surface of a second substrate; and a relay connector. The relay connector includes a plug to be mated with the receptacle in a direction parallel to the first connector mounting surface; a plug to be mated with the receptacle in a direction parallel to the second connector mounting surface; and a handle that couples the plug and the plug to each other. The relay connector is structured such that a first mating direction in which the plug is mated to the receptacle is substantially the same as a second mating direction (Q) in which the plug is mated to the receptacle.

Connector assembly

A plug side surface of a plug housing is provided with a claw portion. The claw portion includes a plug lock surface facing in a direction away from a connector mounting surface. Each assistant fitting of a receptacle connector includes a receptacle lock surface that faces in a direction approaching the connector mounting surface and is opposed to the plug lock surface in a mated state. The plug lock surface includes a lock maintaining surface and an unlocking surface. Further an angle formed between a reference plane and the lock maintaining surface is a lock maintaining angle and an angle formed between the reference plane and the unlocking surface is an unlocking angle, the lock maintaining angle is smaller than the unlocking angle.

A connector () is adapted to be connected to a circuit board () and has an insulating housing () adapted to be mounted to one end portion of the circuit board. The housing is provided with conductive contacts () each having a shape along the housing. The housing has first and second portions () that respectively face both surfaces of the circuit board when the housing is mounted to the circuit board, and a joining portion () joining the first and second portions together. The contacts are insulated from the circuit board in the joining portion and are exposed in the first portion so as to be capable of contacting the surface of the circuit board.

Connector and illumination device

A connector has a first member connectable to a first object and a second member connectable to a second object. The second member is arranged so as to restrict movement of the first member in a first horizontal direction. The connector also has a connection member configured to connect the first member and the second member to each other so that the first member is movable relative to the second member in a second horizontal direction perpendicular to the first horizontal direction.

Connector for backlight and having a member restricting movement of another member

A contact is formed of a single metal sheet. The contact includes an upper spring portion configured to press an upper surface of a plate-like connection target in a downward direction and a lower spring portion configured to press a lower surface of the plate-like connection target in an upward direction. The lower spring portion is deformable independently of the upper spring portion.
