A method for dusting-preventive treatment of a dusting material using a dust-preventive treatment agent including a PTFE aqueous dispersion having lower potential for environmental concerns, which method is as effective as a known method and further has a lower possibility of environmental concerns, and the dust-preventive treated material obtained by treating the dusting material by the method. The method involves mixing a dust preventing treatment composition composed of an aqueous dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene containing 50 ppm or less of a fluorine-containing emulsifier with the dusting material and then forming fibrils of polytetrafluoroethylene by applying a compression/shear force to the mixture above at a temperature of about 20&#xb0; C. to 200&#xb0; C.

Method for dust-preventive treatment of material having dusting property

The primary object of the invention is to provide a method of producing novel phosphate and potash (PK) containing compound fertilizers in the form of powders showing good handle-ability by which method the phosphate components contained in an incinerated ash residue of chicken droppings is improved in solubility and thus rendered effective or available and, at the same time, the free CaO-derived alkali is neutralized, as well as such novel phosphate and potash(PK) containing compound fertilizers. A method of dusting-preventive treatment in which a powder having dusting property is treated with fibril-forming PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) to impart non-dusting property thereto and the non-dusting property of the powder, after having been reduced during transportation, are economically and advantageously recovered or improved through a relatively simple step. The present invention provides a dusting-inhibited cement composition, which hardly forms dust and further capable of improving strength of concrete or mortar obtained therefrom. Dust-control treatment of dusty powder, which mainly passes through a 100 mesh sieve, such as pigment and fertilizer, is achieved by, firstly blending the dusty powder with fibrillatable polytetrafluoroethylene and a pair of materials capable of initiating an exothermic reaction upon contact, and then subjecting the blended material to compression-shear under the exothermic reaction and raising the temperature of the blended material to 50.degree.-300.degree.
