A work vehicle includes a vehicle body, a seat section and a load-carrying platform disposed rearwardly of the seat section. A storage space is disposed rearwardly of the seat section and downwardly of the load-carrying platform, the storage space extending in a lateral width direction of the vehicle body, and the storage space opening toward a lateral side of the vehicle body.

Work vehicle

A work vehicle includes a vehicle body, a seat section including a forward driver's seat and a rear seat, a rear seat posture changing mechanism for changing the rear seat in its position between a first posture where the rear seat is in a non-use condition and a second posture where the rear seat is in a use condition, a load-carrying platform disposed rearwardly of the seat section, and a partitioning member for partitioning the seat section from a space behind the seat section. The load-carrying platform includes a forward platform and a rearward platform and is switchable in its state between an extended state where a fore/aft length of the load-carrying platform is increased after the forward platform is moved forward, and a contracted state where the fore/aft length of the load-carrying platform is decreased after the forward platform is moved rearward.

A work vehicle includes a vehicle body frame extending in the fore/aft direction, the vehicle body frame including a front frame and a rear frame disposed rearwardly of the front frame, a passenger's section provided on the vehicle body frame, a driver's seat disposed on the front side of the passenger's section, and a drive unit including an engine, the drive unit being disposed downwardly of the rear frame. A rear portion of a rear seat disposing space provided rearwardly of the driver's seat is overlapped with an upper side of the rear frame. A rear seat disposed in the rear seat disposing space is selectable in its posture between a first posture where the upper side of the rear frame is opened up to allow visual inspection of the drive unit and a second posture where the rear seat is positioned on the upper side of the rear frame to cover the drive unit.

A pick-up style work vehicle includes a rollover protection structure (ROPS), a seat section including a forward driver's seat and a rear seat, and a rear seat posture changing mechanism for changing the rear seat in its position between a first posture where the rear seat is in a non-use condition and a second posture where the rear seat is in a use condition. A fore/aft length of the rear seat in the first posture is shorter than the fore/aft length of the rear seat in the second posture. The work vehicle also includes a partitioning member for partitioning the seat section from a space behind the seat section with the partitioning member being supported by the ROPS. The partitioning member is movable with being supported by the ROPS between a rearwardly displaced position immediately behind the rear seat and a forwardly displaced position moved forward from the rearwardly displaced position.

A pickup-style work vehicle comprises a driver's section, a loading floor that is located rearwardly of the driver's section and that can be moved to a dumping position, a loading floor size changeover mechanism that changes a size of the loading floor between a first state in which a front wall portion and a front bottom portion of the loading floor are moved forwardly in a fore-and-aft direction of a vehicle and a second state in which the front wall portion and the front bottom portion of the loading floor are moved rearwardly in the fore-and-aft direction, a fixing member connected to the vehicle, and partition member position change mechanism for changing the position of the partition member in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle between a forward position and a rearward position. The partition member when placed at the forward position is located immediately forwardly of the loading floor in the first state while the partition member when placed at the rearward position is located immediately forwardly of the loading floor in the second state.

Pickup-style work vehicle

A pickup-style work vehicle comprises a front driver's seat, a backseat, a loading floor that is located rearwardly of the backseat and that can be moved to a dumping position, a loading floor size changeover mechanism, and a backseat posture change mechanism. The loading floor size changeover mechanism changes the size of the loading floor between a first state in which a front wall portion and a front bottom portion of the loading floor are moved forwardly in a fore-and-aft direction and a second state in which the front wall portion and the front bottom portion of the loading floor are moved rearwardly in a fore-and-aft direction. The backseat posture change mechanism changes a posture of the backseat between a first posture which is a non-use state and a second posture which is a use state. The fore-and-aft dimension of the backseat in the first posture is less than a fore-and-aft dimension of the backseat in the second posture. the backseat in the first posture is located immediately forwardly of the loading floor in the first state and the backseat in the second posture is located immediately forwardly of the loading floor in the second state.

A lawn mower comprises: a plurality of wheels; a vehicle body supported by the wheels; a mower unit supported by said vehicle body; a driver's seat supported by said vehicle body; an engine supported by said vehicle body rearwardly of said driver's seat; a radiator disposed between said engine and said driver's seat; a hood for covering said engine; and a dust filtering case disposed at a forward portion of said hood for allowing ambient cooling air to be drawn into said radiator, the dust filtering case surrounding at least a part of the radiator and having a net portion on at least one side thereof, the net portion extending rearwardly beyond a front surface of said radiator.

Lawn mower having an engine disposed rearwardly of a driver's seat

A working vehicle propelled by independently driven right and left running units comprising a body frame with an engine mounted thereon; a front wheel unit for supporting the body frame in cooperation with the right and left running units; a left HST for receiving torque input from the engine; a right HST for receiving torque input from the engine; a left reduction mechanism for decelerating and transmitting torque output from the left HST to the left running unit; a right reduction mechanism for decelerating and transmitting torque output from the right HST to the right running unit; a left base block supported by the body frame, this base block forming a housing base for the left HST and a housing base for the left reduction mechanism; a right base block attached to the body frame, this base block forming a housing base for the right HST and a housing base for the right reduction mechanism. The base blocks are formed as port blocks for the HSTs, and define hydraulic ports in the housing bases for the HSTs.

Working vehicle propelled by independently driven right and left running units

A mid-mount mower including a body frame supported above the ground by front wheels and rear wheels, and a mower unit vertically movably suspended from the body frame between the front wheels and rear wheels. The mower unit includes a mower deck having a top board, and a front wall, side walls and a rear wall depending from the top board. The mower deck has a rearwardly opening recess formed in a sideways middle region at a rear end thereof. A mower input shaft is disposed on the top board for transmitting power to the rotary blades juxtaposed inside the mower deck to be rotatable about three vertical axes arranged sideways. The mower input shaft extends longitudinally of the body frame and has a rear connecting end. A PTO shaft is provided in a rear transmission mechanism that drives the rear wheels. The PTO shaft extends longitudinally of the body frame and has a forward connecting end. A relay transmission shaft has one end thereof connected to the connecting end of the mower input shaft through a front universal joint, and the other end connected to the PTO shaft through a rear universal joint. The recess is recessed longitudinally of the body frame to an extent forwardly of the rear universal joint to receive the rear universal joint when the mower unit is raised.

Mid-mount mower

A mower unit attachable to a vehicle body includes a mower deck. The mower deck defines a grass discharge opening at an opposite side of one side wall, and has a plurality of rotary blades juxtaposed inside the mower deck to be rotatable about vertical axes. All of the rotary blades are rotatable in the same direction so that a front half, with respect to a traveling direction, of a track of rotation of each rotary blade points toward the side having the grass discharge opening. A rear baffle depends from a top board of the mower deck for enclosing the rotary blades in combination with a front wall, and surrounds, in form of a concentric part circle, a rear portion of the track of rotation of each rotary blade. A front baffle and a mulching baffle are provided to be selectively attached to the mower deck to be located forwardly of the tracks of rotation of the rotary blades. The front baffle includes curved segments each for surrounding, in form of a concentric part circle, a front portion of the track of rotation of one rotary blade, and counter curved segments for connecting the curved segments. The mulching baffle, in combination with the rear baffle, defines a mulching chamber surrounding the track of rotation of each rotary blade.

Mower unit attachable to a vehicle body

A mid-mount type lawn tractor having idle wheels disposed at one end in a fore and aft direction of a vehicle body, drive wheels disposed at the other end in the fore and aft direction of the vehicle body, a mower unit connected to the vehicle body between the idle wheels and drive wheels. The lawn tractor includes a wheel support frame supporting the idle wheels and pivotably connected to the vehicle body. A pivotal movement of the wheel support frame relative to the vehicle body displaces the idle wheels relative to the vehicle body, to produce a running posture or a jack-up posture lifting at least part of the vehicle body. The pivotal movement of the wheel support frame is caused by a jack device.

Lawn tractor with jack-up mechanism

A riding mower includes a pair of right and left propelling wheels, an engine disposed rearwardly of axles of the propelling wheels, a pair of right and left transmission cases corresponding to the propelling wheels and supporting the propelling wheels, respectively, a pair of right and left HSTs coupled to the transmission cases for outputting power thereto, respectively, a center case housing a power distributor for transmitting power from the engine to the pair of right and left HSTs, and a mower unit disposed forwardly of the propelling wheels. The center case is disposed forwardly of the axles of the propelling wheels.

Riding mower

A four wheel drive working vehicle such as a front mower has a dual one-way clutch mechanism interlocked to right and left dirigible wheels. When the vehicle makes a turn in forward or backward running, the clutch mechanism breaks drive transmission only to an outer one of the dirigible wheels.

Four wheel drive working vehicle

A reel-type cutting unit including a reel blade for cutting grass in cooperation with a fixed blade. The reel blade is rotatable about a horizontal axis extending transversely of a vehicle body, to move from front to rear relative to the fixed blade with respect to a forward traveling direction of the vehicle body. The cutting unit has a main case surrounding the reel blade to define a space for carrying grass clippings in a rotating direction of the reel blade to a top level of the reel blade. A guide member is connected to the main case for receiving the grass clippings carried to the top level. The guide member defines a grass receiving space having a grass discharge opening. The grass discharge opening is connected to a grass catcher through a duct.
