A dual chamber combined container-syringe includes: an outer casing having a bypass portion; a hub lure lock; a front stopper; a middle stopper that seals a pharmaceutical preparation together with the front stopper; an end stopper that seals a liquid medicine together with the middle stopper; a finger grip; and a plunger rod that is connected to the end stopper from the rear end side, wherein a female screw portion twisted around an axis is formed on an inner peripheral surface of the finger grip, and a first male screw portion, a tip of which comes into contact with a rear end of the female screw portion and can be screwed into the female portion, and a first guide plate are formed on an outer peripheral surface of the plunger rod when a part of the middle stopper enters the bypass portion.

Behind a slidable end sealing member 3c, there is provided a liquid-absorbing element M which has a liquid-holding function so as to absorb and hold a liquid L flowing out from the end sealing member 3c when the end sealing member passes over a bypass portion 6. As this liquid-absorbent element M, such as a disk-like element D and a cylindrical element R, are typically impregnated with a water-holding and liquid-absorbing accelerator to enhance a leak preventing effect and with an antimicrobial active agent to enhance hygiene.

An air and liquid-tight container is capable of storing different substances in different compartments sealingly separated by a front gasket having two separate parts that are independently slidable. A rear gasket is connectable to a push rod so as to function as a plunger, the front gasket being slidable in response to sliding of the rear gasket, thereby enabling the substance in the rear compartment to be introduced into the front compartment through a bypass. The front and rear gaskets are encased in the tubular body at a compressibility C (%) of 2% to 10%, with the product of the compressibility and the contact area (mm.sup.2) of the gaskets with the inside wall of the tubular wall falling within the range of 150 to 400.
