Provided is a piezoelectric element capable of reliably performing an electrical connection to an electrode layer. A piezoelectric element includes a piezoelectric layer, electrode layers formed on both sides of the piezoelectric layer, and a protective layer laminated on a surface of the electrode layer opposite to a surface on the polymer composite piezoelectric body side. The protective layer has a hole that penetrates from the surface to the electrode layer. The piezoelectric element further includes a filling member consisting of a conductive material, which is formed from the inside of the hole to a part of a surface of the protective layer and is electrically connected to the electrode layer, a conductive member which covers at least a part of the filling member and is electrically connected to the filling member, and a fixing member for fixing the conductive member.

Piezoelectric element

Provided are a laminated piezoelectric element and an electroacoustic transducer capable of obtaining high piezoelectric characteristics and easily ensuring an electric contact to an electrode layer. A plurality of layers of piezoelectric films, each of which is formed by laminating a first protective layer, a first electrode layer, a piezoelectric layer, a second electrode layer, and a second protective layer in this order, are laminated. Each of the piezoelectric layers is polarized in a thickness direction. In each of the piezoelectric films, the first electrode is disposed on an upstream side in a polarization direction of the piezoelectric layer, and the second electrode is disposed on a downstream side. Each of the plurality of piezoelectric films has a cemented portion which is cemented to an adjacent piezoelectric film and a protruding portion which is not cemented to the adjacent piezoelectric film and in which at least the first electrode layer and the first protective layer or the second electrode layer and the second protective layer protrude from the cemented portion toward the outside in a plane direction. At the protruding portion of each of the piezoelectric films, at least one of a first contact, to which the first electrode layers of the piezoelectric films are electrically connected to each other, or a second contact, to which the second electrode layers of the piezoelectric films are electrically connected to each other, is formed.

Laminated piezoelectric element and electroacoustic transducer

Provided is a piezoelectric element capable of preventing the occurrence of poor connection to an electrode layer. A piezoelectric element includes a piezoelectric layer, electrode layers formed on both sides of the piezoelectric layer, and a protective layer laminated on a surface of the electrode layer opposite to a surface on a piezoelectric layer side, in which the piezoelectric element includes a conductive foil laminated on a surface of the protective layer opposite to the electrode layer, the protective layer has a hole that penetrates from a surface to the electrode layer, the conductive foil includes an opening portion at a position that overlaps with the hole of the protective layer in a surface direction, the piezoelectric element includes a filling member consisting of a conductive material, which is formed on at least a part of a surface of the conductive foil from insides of the hole of the protective layer and an opening portion of the conductive foil and is electrically connected to the electrode layer and the conductive foil, and a covering member that covers the filling member and the conductive foil, the covering member has a through-hole at a position that does not overlap with the filling member in the surface direction, and the piezoelectric element includes a conductive member, which is inserted into the through-hole of the covering member and electrically connected to the conductive foil.

A head cleaning device includes: a wiper member formed in an elongate shape and having a wiper anchoring portion anchored so as not to move in a tape width direction; and a support member that includes a wiper entrainment portion about which the wiper member is entrained so as to double back, that causes the wiper entrainment portion to move in the tape width direction so that a surface of the wiper member at an opposite side of the wiper entrainment portion from the wiper anchoring portion wipes a head that performs at least one of writing information to, or reading information from, a recording tape.

Head cleaning device and drive device

A tape cleaning device includes a blade that, while touching a recording tape that is running, scrapes foreign bodies from the recording tape; a roller that touches the recording tape and rotates along with the running of the recording tape, the foreign bodies scraped off by the blade being transferred to the roller; and a removal mechanism that removes the foreign bodies that have been transferred to the roller from the roller.

Tape cleaning device and drive device

A reel is provided that may raise the rigidity of the hub, and suppress flange deformation that is caused by winding tension of recording tape. The reel is provided with: a cylindrical hub on which recording tape may be wound; a top flange extending integrally to the hub from a peripheral edge at one end portion of the hub; a bottom flange, including a bottom wall that has had a reel plate fixed thereto, the bottom flange being welded to a portion of the hub at the opposite end of the hub to the end of the top flange, the welding site being within the region where the reel plate is fixed.

Reel

A recording tape cartridge includes a reel, a case where the reel is accommodated, an engagement gear that is provided in the reel, and a brake gear which is provided in the case side brake member and in which a mesh state with the engagement gear or a mesh release state with the engagement gear is switched by relative displacement of an axis line direction of the brake member with respect to the reel. In a piece taper tooth of the engagement gear, a mesh surface that is oriented in a winding rotation direction is approximately parallel to a reel axis line direction and an opposite mesh surface is inclined with respect to the reel axis line. A piece taper tooth of the brake gear is a taper tooth that is opposite to the piece taper tooth of the engagement gear.

Recording tape cartridge and rotation locking structure

A reel includes: a circular cylinder-shaped hub that includes an inner peripheral surface on which a protruding portion that protrudes in a radial direction is formed and an outer peripheral surface around which recording tape is wound; a first flange that is disposed on one end portion of the hub and includes a first extension portion that is welded to the protruding portion; and a second flange that is disposed on the other end portion of the hub and includes a second extension portion that is welded to the protruding portion. The rigidity of the hub can be improved, and the welding strength of the flanges with respect to the hub can also be improved.

Reel and manufacturing method thereof

A reel is provided including a cylindrical hub onto which a recording tape is wound; an upper flange that is integrally provided at the hub, and that extends from one end portion of the hub; and a lower flange that includes a bottom wall to which a reel plate is fixed, and that is welded to the other end portion of the hub, in order that deformations and surface runout of the flanges can be suppressed without increasing number of process and/or manufacturing costs.

A reel that includes: an upper flange and a lower flange that retain width direction edge portions of a recording tape; a lower circular cylinder portion disposed extending upward from an upper surface of the lower flange on the same circumference as the axial center of the lower flange; a hub that is fitted over the outside of the lower circular cylinder portion and around which the recording tape is wound; a rotational detent member that regulates movement of the hub in the circumferential direction with respect to the lower flange; and an upper circular cylinder portion that extends downward from an undersurface of the upper flange and is welded to an end surface of the lower circular cylinder portion such that the hub is interposed and held between the upper flange and the lower flange. Reel and recording tape cartridge

A cartridge case for a magnetic tape cartridge made up of two mating shell halves are provided with a retaining structure for retaining an in-cartridge memory tag at a given angle in the cartridge case. The retaining structure comprises supporting brace members in one mating shell halve which has an angled surface extending at an elevation angle equal to the given angle and holding brace members in the other mating shell halve which has an angled leading surface extending at a depression angle equal to the elevation angle of the angled surface of the support brace member and a angled trailing surge extending at a depression angle greater than the angled leading surface between which the in-cartridge memory tag is held tightly in position in the cartridge case when the two mating shell halves are temporarily or finally coupled to each other.

A reel includes a hub around which recording tape is wound and flanges that are disposed on both end portions of the hub and hold width direction end portions of the recording tape. The hub includes a cylindrical reinforcement ring, a resin ring integrally molded on the outer peripheral surface of the reinforcement ring, and a consecutive portion made of resin that covers one end portion of the reinforcement ring and is continuous with the resin ring. Exposure portions where the one end portion of the reinforcement ring is exposed are formed in the consecutive portion.

A tape cassette storing case comprises: a storing case main body, the storing case main body having first and second side surfaces that are opposite to each other; a recess region on the first side surface, the recess region being defined by a step from the first side surface; and a plurality of ribs on the second side surface, wherein when two of the storing case main bodies including first and second main bodies are stacked so that the first side surface in the first main body are superposed on the second side surface in the second main body, the a plurality of ribs in the second main body is regulated by the step of the recess region on the first main body, and the plurality of ribs in the second main body each has an inclined surface with respect to the second side surface in the second main body.
