Sealed compressor and refrigeration unit comprising sealed compressor

A sealed compressor of the present invention comprises an electric component (); a compression component (); a sealed container () which accommodates the electric component () and the compression component () and stores lubricating oil () therein; and a suction pipe () which is provided to penetrate a wall portion of the sealed container (), and through which a refrigerant gas suctioned into the sealed container () flows; wherein the compression component () includes a compression chamber () formed within a cylinder () and a suction muffler () through which the refrigerant gas flows; wherein the suction muffler () includes a muffling space (), an exit pipe (), an inlet pipe (), whose suction port () opens in a substantially horizontal direction in the interior of the sealed container (), a funnel-shaped refrigerant receiver section () provided to surround the suction port (); and wherein the suction port () is placed such that its center (A) is located above than a center (A) of the refrigerant receiver section ().

Sealed compressor

A hermetic compressor has a hermetic container storing oil, and a compressing element accommodated in the hermetic container and compressing a refrigerant gas. The compressing element has a compression chamber, a cylinder forming the compression chamber, a piston inserted into the cylinder for reciprocation, and a suction muffler whose one end communicates with the compression chamber. The suction muffler has a sound deadening space, a gas flow forming part forming a gas flow flowing in a constant direction in the sound deadening space, and an oil discharge opening provided in a downstream side of the gas flow in a lower part of the sound deadening space. By this construction, there is realized a hermetic compressor in which the oil does not readily remain in the suction muffler, whose noise is lower, and whose performance is stabilized.

Hermetic compressor

A hermetic electric compressor is capable of efficiently pumping up a necessary amount of lubricating oil even at low-speed rotation and has a simple constitution to provide an excellent workablity in assembling. The hermetic electric compressor includes an oil pump. The oil pump includes (i) a slanting channel formed in the lower portion of a main shaft and slanting from the lower portion to the upper portion thereof outwardly, (ii) a throttle formed at the bottom end of the main shaft and having an inlet port of diameter smaller than the section of the slanting channel at the center thereof, and (iii) a lower communicating passage for providing a communication between the bottom end of a spiral groove and the slanting channel. This constitution is capable of effectively lift the head of the lubricating oil.

Sealed type electrically driven compressor

The present invention provides a suction muffler comprising component portions formed by injection forming a thermoplastic synthetic resin and joined to each other by induction welding, and also provides a hermetic compressor including the suction muffler. The suction muffler having this configuration is superior to conventional suction mufflers having joint portions joined by ultrasonic welding and vibration welding in the uniformity of the welding strength at the whole joint portion thereof and in minimizing the occurrence of fins.
