To provide a connector capable of appropriately attaching a retainer to a housing while reliably arranging a cable terminal at an appropriate position even when a clearance between members is reduced in order to reduce the size of the connector. A cable terminalhas a first stopped part. A retainerhas a positioning postpositioned in a rearward direction from the first stopped partof the cable terminaland restricting movement of the cable terminalin a rearward direction. The positioning postis elastically deformable to move in a forward-rearward direction.

Connector, connector assembly, and retainer

A first terminal includes a to-be-held portion configured to be inserted, in a vertical direction, into a terminal holding hole. The outer surface of the to-be-held portion and the inner surface of the terminal holding hole formed in the first housing include: a contact region where the outer surface of the to-be-held portion and the inner surface of the terminal holding hole are in contact with each other; and a gap region where a reservoir space is formed between the outer surface of the to-be-held portion and the inner surface of the terminal holding hole. The contact region includes a partial region located on an exposed portion's side.

Connector, connector assembly, and circuit device

The second housing has a side panel extending in the mating direction and at least three second connector lock portions protruding from the outer surface of the side panel, the second connectors each being arranged in the transverse direction of the second housing and separated by an interval, and the first housing has a side panel extending in the mounting direction, a locking arm portion formed in the side panel and covering at least a portion of the outer surface of the side panel of the second housing when the first housing and the second housing are mated, and at least three first connector locking portions each formed in the locking arm portion in the transverse direction of the first housing and separated by an interval, and each engaging a second connector locking portion when the first housing and the second housing are mated.

Wire-to-board connector assembly

The card holding member is able to hold a card including terminal members and is able to be inserted into a card connector, and comprises a frame portion opposing the side surfaces of the card, and a movable lock portion arranged in the frame portion which is able to engage and disengage from a lock portion of the card connector, the movable lock portion being a spring member made of a metal plate and including at least one corner portion, and the movable lock portion also being elastically deformable in the width direction of the card holding member.

Card holding member and card connector

A card holding member is provided which is able to hold a card having terminal members and which is able to be inserted into a card connector. The card holding member includes a frame portion, side frame portions, and a movable lock portion. The frame portion includes a front frame portion positioned forward in the insertion direction of the card holding member into the card connector. The side frame portions are connected at both ends to the front frame portion. The movable lock portion is positioned on a side frame portion and is able to engage and disengage from a lock portion on the card connector. The movable lock portion receives force from the lock portion of the card connector forward in the insertion direction when engaging the lock portion of the card connector.

The card holding member is able to hold a card having terminal members and is able to be inserted into a card connector, and includes a frame portion opposing the side surfaces of the card. The frame portion includes a first metal portion composed of a metal plate, a second metal portion composed of a metal plate being a separate component from the first metal portion, and a resin portion surrounding and covering at least a portion of the first metal portion and the second metal portion.

The assisting tool for a connector includes a mounting member able to be mounted in a first housing having a first connector able to mate with a second connector in a second housing, and an operating member able to rotate with respect to the mounting member. Here, the operating member has a lever portion, the operating member is mounted in the first housing, and the lever portion contacts the second housing and applies pressure to the second housing in the direction releasing the mated first connector and second connector when the operating member is rotated while the first connector is mated with the second connector.

Assisting tool for connector

A multiple contact connector comprises a plurality of terminal pieces arranged linearly in the lengthwise direction, and an insulating provided with a plurality of dividing walls extending between the terminal pieces for supporting the terminal pieces and for insulating between adjacent terminal pieces, having the insulating pieces inserted into terminal supporting spaces between the separating walls.
