An illumination lighting apparatus is configured to light a plurality of light-emitting elements connected in series to each other. The illumination lighting apparatus includes one photosensor and a detector. The one photosensor is configured to detect light emitted from the plurality of light-emitting elements. The detector is configured to perform detection of a light emission defect on the plurality of light-emitting elements based on the light detected by the one photosensor. Moreover, the detector performs the detection process at an initial stage of lighting of the plurality of light-emitting elements.

Illumination lighting apparatus, illumination device, and illumination fixture

An illumination lighting apparatus is configured to light a plurality of light-emitting elements connected in series to each other. The illumination lighting apparatus includes one photosensor and a detector. The one photosensor is configured to detect light emitted from the plurality of light-emitting elements. The detector is configured to perform detection of a light emission defect on the plurality of light-emitting elements based on the light detected by the one photosensor. Moreover, the detector performs the detection process when a quantity of light detected by the one photosensor decreases. The detector includes two or more switches and a processor. The two or more switches are connected in parallel to the plurality of light-emitting elements. When the processor turns on the two or more switches sequentially one-by-one, and the quantity of light detected by the one photosensor does not change, the processor detects a light-emitting element having the light emission defect from the plurality of light-emitting elements.

A visible light communication apparatus includes: an on/off switch connected in series to a load circuit including a light emitting diode; an impedance circuit connected in series to the on/off switch; a feedback circuit that feeds back an error between a voltage drop across the impedance circuit and a reference voltage potential to a voltage source as a feedback signal; a drive circuit that turns on and off the on/off switch in accordance with a communication signal which is a binary signal; an isolation circuit that transmits power while being electrically isolated; and an auxiliary power supply circuit that is connected between two output terminals of the voltage source, generates an auxiliary supply voltage, and supplies power based on the auxiliary supply voltage generated to the on/off switch and the drive circuit via the isolation circuit.

Visible light communication apparatus

A control device includes: a receiving unit that receives a first beacon request for performing registration processing from a communication terminal device; a detection unit that detects a control signal indicating a request for starting the registration processing; a registration control unit that starts the registration processing when the detection unit detects the control signal and executes the registration processing for a certain period; and a transmission control unit that: transmits the beacon signal when the receiving unit receives the first beacon request in a period during which the registration control unit is executing the registration processing; and avoids transmitting the beacon signal when the first beacon request is received in a period during which the registration control unit is not executing the registration processing.

Control device, communication system, and method for registering terminal devices and scanning for other control devices

An illumination light communication apparatus includes: a light source which emits illumination light; a power supply circuit for supplying constant current to the light source; a switch which is connected in series to the light source, and intermittently interrupts current which flows through the light source; a signal generating circuit which generates a binary communication signal which controls on and off of the switch to modulate the illumination light; and a current limiting circuit which is connected in series to the light source and the switch, and limits the current which flows through the light source to prevent the current from exceeding a current set value which is variable.

In a power supply device, a primary winding of a transformer is connected in series to a main switching element, and is connected in parallel to a series circuit of a resonance capacitor and a sub switching element. A secondary winding of the transformer is connected in series to a series circuit of a rectifying element and a resonance inductor. The capacitance of the resonance capacitor and the inductance of the resonance inductor are each set such that, when the sub switching element is in an on state, the waveform of the voltage that is generated between the first main terminal and the second main terminal of the main switching element takes a protruding curve shape, the voltage being generated due to a resonance phenomenon of at least the resonance capacitor and the resonance inductor.

A communication terminal device includes the following units. A detection unit detects a control signal instructing start of registration processing. A channel selection unit selects at random, from a plurality of frequency channels, the first frequency channel to be used in transmission of a beacon request when the control signal is detected. A scan control unit transmits the beacon request to the control devices by using the selected frequency channel. A receiving unit receives the beacon signal transmitted from each of the control devices. A list storage unit stores a predetermined parameter included in the beacon signal and the frequency channel in association with each other. A registration control unit transmits a registration request signal to the control device.

Communication terminal device, communication system, and method of controlling communication terminal device

A communication system comprises: a communication apparatus that is configured to transmit communication data, which includes a plurality of known synchronization symbols subjected to spread modulation with a spread code; and a communication apparatus that is configured to perform, when receiving the communication data, processing for detecting a synchronization timing, based on a correlation value between the received communication data and a reference signal. The communication apparatus comprises: a disturbing wave detection part configured to detect a period of a disturbing wave; a communication control part configured to set a transmission period of the synchronization symbol to be integer multiple of the period of the disturbing wave; and a transmission unit configured to transmit the communication data in which the transmission period of the synchronization symbol has been set by the communication control part.
