A diaphragm linkage device for interchangeable lenses wherein more than three column-shaped guide members with a groove consisting of plastic material with a small friction coefficient are provided around the optical axis of the barrel for the interchangeable lens. A diaphragm linkage ring is adapted in the grooves in such a manner that by means of the guide members the diaphragm linkage ring is carried in the direction of thrust and in the radial direction.

A camera body is molded out of plastic, and a metal block is incorporated into the camera body as it is molded. The metal block has an aperture for determining the size of picture and a rail face for guiding the film. Mounted on the camera body, which is capable of being equipped with the film feeding mechanism, is a front plate unit presenting a mounting seat for the reflex mirror. The front plate is mounted directly on the metal block.

The present invention relates to a plastic molding having satin finish type metallic luster. More particularly, it provides a molding of high accuracy and good appearance. The plastic molding of the present invention is produced by first applying satin finishing to the surface of the molding, providing a conductive coating thereon, applying polishing treatment on the surface of the coating, and forming a metal film thereon by metal plating.
