Connecting structure for terminal fitting and substrate

A board connector includes: a connector body housing a terminal fitting and connected to a contact arranged on a circuit board; and a connector receiving member attached to the circuit board and engagingly locking a tip end surface of the connector body in a state where the tip end surface is butted against a surface of the circuit board. The connector body includes: an inner housing which engagingly locks the terminal fitting so that a tip end surface of the terminal fitting is projected from the tip end surface of the connector body; an outer housing which supports the inner housing so that the inner housing is slidable in a fitting direction; and a housing urging spring which urges the inner housing. The tip end surface of the terminal fitting is pressingly contacted with the contact, thereby causing the terminal fitting to be electrically connected to the contact.

There are provided in the substrate connector a connector main body that has a leading end face butted against the circuit board, thereby bringing leading end faces of terminal fitting, which are housed and retained in the connector main body, with contact point patterns on the circuit board, thereby butting; and a connector receiving member that is attached to the circuit board and that holds the leading end face of the connector main body butted against the surface of the circuit board. The terminal fitting is provided by spring pieces that impart predetermined contact pressure as a result of contact points, which contact the contact point patterns, experiencing elastic deformation upon contact with the corresponding contact point patterns.

Substrate connector

Provided is a connection terminalincluding a terminal bodyand a movable contacthaving a pair of spring portionsandextending in the same direction from the both sides of a contact tab, wherein the end portions of the spring portionsandof the movable contactare fixed to the terminal body, the contact tabat the tip end of the movable contactis conductively connected to the other terminal to be connected by being pushed to the terminal, and the movable contactis formed in a process in which a metal plate is blanked to form a pair of spring portionsandhaving a wavy shape in planar view at both sides of a central portion of the plate which will be the contact tab, and the portion of the plate is folded in the same direction as a boundary so that the spring portionsandextend in parallel from the both sides of the contact tabincluding the portion of the plate.

Connection terminal with spring portions

A lever type connector comprises a first connector housing; a second connector housing including a projection; and a lever pivotally engaged with the first connector housing and including two arm plates and an interconnecting bar which connects the two arm plates. The each arm plate comprises a provisional-retaining projection projecting from the arm plate toward the other arm plate, which abuts to the projection and causes to deform the arm plate so that the arm plate recedes to the other arm plate when the projection is inserted into the cam groove; and a cancellation lever extending from an edge of the arm plate and positioned at a counter side of the inlet with respect to the pivotal support, which cause to deform the arm plate so that the arm plate recedes to the other arm plate when the cancellation lever is pressed to come close to the other cancellation lever.

Lever-type connector

The present invention is to provide a female terminal for preventing an inserting segment from separating from one inner wall of a tube, and a connector utilizing the same. The female terminal has an electrical contacting portion and a projection. The electrical contacting portion has the tube accepting the inserting segment of a mating male terminal and a spring piece to be electrically connected with the inserting segment. The spring piece urges the inserting segment against the one inner wall of the tube and sandwiches the inserting segment with the one inner wall. A projection inwardly extends from another inner wall of the tube. The projection abuts on the inserting segment when the inserted segment separates from the one inner wall in a direction perpendicular to an inserting direction of the inserting segment so as to regulate the inserting segment to separate from the one inner wall.

Female terminal and connector

A locking member is inserted into a cavity portion in a housing, and the side walls of the locking member are used to constitute part of the outer wall of the terminal accommodating chamber. On the inner surfaces of first locking projections respectively provided on the one-end-face sides of the present two side walls, there are projectingly provided guide ribs so as to extend in parallel to the insertion direction of a connecting terminal. When inserting the connecting terminal into the terminal accommodating chamber, even in case where the connecting terminal is inserted in an inclined manner, the connecting terminal is guided by the guide ribs and the inclination thereof is corrected by the guide ribs, whereby the connecting terminal can be inserted smoothly and the leading end of the connecting terminal is prevented from interfering with the terminal accommodating chamber, the locking member, first locking projections.

Connector

A waterproof connector has an inner housing for holding insulation displacement terminals connected to wires W and an outer housing formed with an inner housing accommodation space A for receiving the inner housing in the longitudinal direction. The outer housing receiving the inner housing is formed in its rear portion F with a waterproofing part made of hot-melt material. This facilitates production of a waterproof connector with a smaller number of parts.

Waterproof connector

A waterproof connector comprises an inner housing made of synthesis resin, which accommodates a connection terminal; an outer housing made of synthesis resin, which surrounds the inner housing inserted in an insertion port with a predetermined space portion therebetween, the outer housing having an insertion port in its block wall, the insertion port being for inserting the inner housing, and an enter port provided in its tip end; and a sealing member inserted in the space portion, wherein a holding projection extending from the sealing member to the block wall is provided, a through hold inserting the holding projection therein is provided in the block wall, and the holding projection is inserted in the through hole. In such a constitution, thermoplastic resin covers at least an exposed portion of the holding projection, which is exposed from the through hole, from the outside of the block wall.

A structure of a waterproof portion of a waterproof connector comprising: an inner housing provided with a terminal chamber an outer housing provided with an enter port receiving an opposite connector at a tip thereof, the outer housing having the inner housing engaged therewith; an interconnector waterproof portion liquid-tightly sealing a space with the opposite connector the inter connector waterproof portion being provided in the outer housing and a wire waterproof portion covering a connection portion of a wire protruding outward from the terminal chamber wherein a communication path communicating between the interconnector waterproof portion and the wire waterproof portion is provided, and the interconnector waterproof portion and the wire waterproof portion are continuously formed by monolithic molding using thermoplastic resin through the communication path
