A light vehicle includes a lid that is pivotable about a hinge, provided at the rear end of the lid, for opening and closing a rear trunk. Locking members are provided at the front end of the lid, which are releasably engageable with roof-supporting struts. Thus, the lid can be moved to a fully open position without being interfered by the presence of the struts, which allows the rear trunk to be operated and used with increased ease. The seat, including a seating section and a back rest section integrally formed together, has an inclined lower surface that is superposed on an inclined upper surface of a rear cowl. Thus, rearward force applied to the seat when the vehicle starts moving or accelerating is divided to allow the seat to be firmly pressed downward.

Light vehicle

A three-wheeled automobile comprises a front cowl for enclosing a front portion of the automobile, and a floor forming a passenger step. The front cowl has on lateral sides thereof rear ends positioned above front wheels of the automobile, and a front end surface positioned forwardly of the front wheels. As a result, a large space is provided between a front wall of the front cowl and a seat. A handle post is provided generally centrally of the floor. The floor has roomy foot platforms located around the handle post. As a result, a space left forwardly of the handle post can be used as a feet accommodating area.

Three-wheeled automobile

A resistance welding electrode for supplying a current to metal workpieces to weld the workpieces to each other includes an electrode body as an electrode matrix of a copper alloy and a plurality of filamentary members embedded in the electrode matrix parallel to the direction in which a current flows therethrough. The filamentary members have respective tip ends exposed as lands on a surface of a tip end of the electrode body. The filamentary members are made of a material having an electric conductivity different from that of the electrode matrix. The exposed tip ends of the filamentary members having a total area which is in the range of 0.5 to 40% of the entire area of the tip end of the electrode body.

Resistance welding electrode and method of manufacturing same

A resistance welding electrode for supplying a current to metal workpieces to weld the workpieces to each other has an electrode matrix of a copper alloy and a plurality of members disposed in the electrode matrix and having portions exposed on a surface of a tip end of the electrode matrix. The members are made of a material having an electric conductivity different from that of the electrode matrix. The exposed portions of the members have a total area which is in the range of 40 to 82% of the entire area of the tip end of the electrode matrix.

A method of producing a molded ceramic article comprises the first step mixing powdery raw materials and a liquid additive, thereby obtaining a mixed raw material, the second step press-molding the mixed raw material obtained in the first step in a hydrostatically applied condition of pressure, thereby removing an excess of the liquid additive to obtain a preform, and the third step calcining the preform obtained in the second step to obtain a molded ceramic article. The molded ceramic article comprises, as a principal component, copper and, as essential components, Cr and Ni within composition ranges of 0.1.ltoreq.Cr&lt;2 wt. % and 0.1.ltoreq.Ni&lt;10 wt. % and further at least one additive component selected from the group consisting of the following composition ratios: the following composition ratios: 0&lt;Fe&lt;5 wt. %, 0.ltoreq.Co&lt;5 wt. %, 0.ltoreq.Al&lt;10 wt. %, 0.ltoreq.Ti&lt;20 wt. %, 0.ltoreq.Mo&lt;3 wt. %, 0.ltoreq.Si&lt;3 wt. %, 0.ltoreq.V&lt;3 wt. %, 0.ltoreq.Mg&lt;1 wt. %, and 0.ltoreq.C&lt;5 wt. %, and has at least one composition range selected from the group consisting of the following composition ratios: 0&lt;O.sub.2 &lt;10 wt. %, 0&lt;N.sub.2 &lt;5 wt. % and 0&lt;B&lt;10 wt. %.

Molded ceramic articles and production method thereof

Molded ceramic articles

Ni&lt; 10 wt. % and further at least one additive component selected from the group consisting of the following composition ratios: the following composition ratios: O&lt;Fe&lt; 5 wt. %, O.ltoreq.Co&lt; 5 wt. %, O.ltoreq.Al&lt; 10 wt. %, O.ltoreq.Ti&lt; 20 wt. %, O.ltoreq.Mo&lt; 3 wt. %, O.ltoreq.Si&lt; 3 wt. %, O.ltoreq.V&lt; 3 wt. %, O.ltoreq.Mg&lt; 1 wt. % and O.ltoreq.C &lt; 5 wt % and has at least one composition range selected from the group consisting of the following composition ratios: O&lt;O.sub.2 &lt;10 wt. %, O&lt;N.sub.2 &lt;5 wt. % and O&lt;B&lt; 10 wt. %.

For resistance-welding workpieces of metal, an electrode is pressed against superposed regions of the workpieces and an electric current is supplied to the superposed regions to heat the same due to an electric resistance of the workpieces. The electrode has a body having a tip end for pressed engagement with one of the workpieces, and a matrix of tapered teeth disposed on the tip end of the body except for a center of the tip end. The teeth define recesses therebetween. One of the recesses is positioned at the center of the tip end, and the teeth are progressively higher from an outer circumferential edge of the tip end toward the center thereof.
