To achieve miniaturization. A matching circuit is connected to a connection terminal that is one of an input terminal and an output terminal of an amplifier. A mounting substrate has a ground layer. The matching circuit includes a main line, a sub-line, and an IC chip. The main line is formed of a first conductor pattern intersecting a thickness direction of the mounting substrate, and is connected to a connection terminal of the amplifier. The sub-line is formed of a second conductor pattern intersecting the thickness direction of the mounting substrate, and is connected between the main line and the ground layer. The sub-line is opposed to the main line in the thickness direction of the mounting substrate. The IC chip is disposed on the mounting substrate, and includes an adjustment unit that adjusts impedance conversion characteristics of the matching circuit.

High-frequency module and communication device

A radio frequency module includes a module substrate, a power amplifier that amplifies a transmission signal in a middle band group, a low noise amplifier that amplifies a reception signal in the middle band group, and a conductive component that transmits a radio frequency signal in a high band group, wherein the power amplifier is mounted on a main surface of the module substrate, the low noise amplifier is mounted on a main surface of the module substrate, and the conductive component is mounted between the power amplifier and the low noise amplifier on the main surface when the module substrate is viewed in plan.

Radio frequency module and communication apparatus

Loss caused by wiring is reduced. A radio frequency module includes a mounting board, a low-noise amplifier, and an input matching circuit. The mounting board has a first principal surface and a second principal surface. The first principal surface and the second principal surface are on opposite sides of the mounting board. The low-noise amplifier amplifies a reception signal (first reception signal). The input matching circuit includes an inductor. The inductor is connected to the input side of the low-noise amplifier. The inductor is arranged on the first principal surface side of the mounting board. The low-noise amplifier is arranged on the second principal surface side of the mounting board. In a plan view seen from a thickness direction of the mounting board, at least part of the inductor overlaps with at least part of the low-noise amplifier.

Radio frequency module and communication device

A duplexer included in a radio frequency module is used in a communication band in which the transmit band in a single communication band includes a first transmit band and a second transmit band overlapping each other and in which the receive band in the single communication band includes a first receive band and a second receive band overlapping each other. A transmit filter unit in the duplexer uses, as a pass band, a fixed frequency band including the first transmit band and the second transmit band. A receive filter unit of the duplexer uses, as a pass band, a fixed frequency band including the first receive band and the second receive band.

Filter device and radio frequency module

An amplification circuit includes a first switching circuit that includes input terminals and first and second output terminals and that puts the second output terminal into an open state with respect to the input terminals while selectively putting the first output terminal into a state of being connected to any of the input terminals or selectively puts the second output terminal into a state of being connected to any of input terminals while putting the first output terminal into a state of being open with respect to the input terminals; a matching network that is connected to the first output terminal; an amplifier that is connected to an output side of the matching network; a second switching circuit that is connected to an output side of the amplifier; and a bypass path that electrically connects the second output terminal and an output terminal of the second switching circuit. The amplifier is a variable-gain amplifier.

Amplification circuit

A switch circuit includes first and second switches. The first switch includes a first common terminal and at least two first selection terminals selectively connected to the first common terminal. The second switch includes at least one second common terminal and at least one second selection terminal selectively connected to the at least one second common terminal. One of the at least two first selection terminals and the at least one second common terminal are connected to each other via a path passing through a first multiplexer. Another one of the at least two first selection terminals and the at least one second common terminal are connected to each other via a bypass path bypassing the first multiplexer.

Switch circuit, radio-frequency module, and communication device

An amplification circuit includes a first switching circuit that includes input terminals and first and second output terminals and that puts the second output terminal into an open state with respect to the input terminals while selectively putting the first output terminal into a state of being connected to any of the input terminals or selectively puts the second output terminal into a state of being connected to any of input terminals while putting the first output terminal into a state of being open with respect to the input terminals, a matching network that is connected to the first output terminal, an amplifier that is connected to an output side of the matching network, a second switching circuit that is connected to an output side of the amplifier, and a bypass path that electrically connects the second output terminal and an output terminal of the second switching circuit.

A voltage-controlled oscillator has a frequency of oscillation that is varied using a substrate on which the same circuit pattern as that of the voltage-controlled oscillator is printed. In a resonant circuit included in the voltage-controlled oscillator, a first land is arranged substantially parallel to an inductor. A second land is arranged substantially parallel to the inductor and to a variable-capacitance diode. The capacitances of capacitors attached to the first land and second land are changed in order to vary the frequency of oscillation of the voltage-controlled oscillator. The frequency of oscillation can be varied without the necessity of scraping the inductor through which a major signal passes. Therefore, electrical characteristics of the voltage-controlled oscillator are not degraded and the frequency of oscillation is very steady. The frequency of oscillation can be varied merely by changing the capacitances of the capacitors attached to the first and second lands. Consequently, a step of scraping a strip line can be excluded, and manufacturing efficiency can be improved.
