Provided is an operation analysis method for a production plant (), including: acquiring, with use of a Doppler LIDAR (), a distribution of three-dimensional wind condition data at positions of an upper space of the production plant () and a surrounding space thereof including an arrangement region for an air-cooled heat exchanger (); acquiring environment data indicating a state of a natural environment that affects operation of the air-cooled heat exchanger (); and learning, through a numerical analysis with use of a computer, based on a distribution of the three-dimensional wind condition data and on the environment data, a correspondence between a distribution pattern of the three-dimensional wind condition data and the environment data.

Operation analysis method for production plant

An air-cooled heat exchanger () arranged in a gas processing facility for performing a liquefaction process of natural gas is configured to supply cooling air to a tube () through which a fluid to be cooled is caused to flow, to thereby cool the fluid to be cooled, and a mist supply section () is configured to supply mist obtained by spraying demineralized water, to thereby cool the cooling air. Further, the mist supply section () is configured to spray the demineralized water from a lateral position on an upstream side of an intake.

A weather predicting method includes: selecting, from weather information related to areas and times and including temperature data, weather information sets related to multiple times over a fixed period concerning a first area containing a location where the air utilizing apparatus is placed; by solving, with selected weather information sets as input data, differential equations expressing the weather information based on analysis models for conducting weather simulations, generating a first narrow area weather information sets related to smaller second areas disposed within the first area; selecting a second narrow-area weather information set concerning a second area containing the location of the air utilizing apparatus from among generated first narrow-area weather information sets; and generating a temperature cumulative frequency distribution or a temperature exceedance probability distribution during the fixed period by using temperature data contained in the second narrow-area weather information set for calculating a design temperature of the air utilizing apparatus.
