A telecommunications system is provided to allow for the securement of a module to a chassis in multiple positions. The multiple positions may include a storage position and/or an engaged position.

A fiber management access system includes a guide that can be movably coupled to an exterior of a chassis for routing fibers of the system. The guide can include a channel for directing fibers of the system to a side of the guide, and can have multiple routing troughs located in the channel for routing the fibers. The guide can be movable to allow access to a serviceable element of the fiber management access system.

A fiber optic cable trough notching system with a punch and a punch aperture spaced apart by a wall receiving opening for receiving a fiber optic cable trough component wall, the punch disposed to impart a force on the trough component wall to deform it into the punch aperture, and thereby create a detent and/or projection. The detent and/or projection are then utilized to operatively attach two trough components.

Fiber optic cable trough component notching system

A fiber optic cable exit trough system apparatus and method for routing fiber optic cables from a trough or raceway is provided, the exit trough system including a support or mount bracket and an exit trough which provides for the transverse routing of fiber optic cables from an existing trough or raceway. A method of assembling a fiber optic cable routing system which may include providing a longitudinal trough section, mounting a fiber optic cable exit trough to a bottom section of the longitudinal trough section or to a separate facilities support bracket, and then routing a cable from the longitudinal trough section upwardly and transversely through the exit trough.

Disclosed is a fiber trough coupling system for attaching a first fiber optic cable trough to a second fiber optic cable trough, including an apparatus and a process for the same. More particularly, embodiments of this invention provide such a system which may assembled without the need for installation or assembly tools or additional installation hardware, which will result in a substantial cost savings for the installation.
