A multiple eye paintball loader motor controller having a container and an outfeed tube to direct paintballs to a marker. Ball sensors are in the loader outfeed tube to predict incoming paintballs and the rate of supply. A controller is connected to the ball sensor to sense the incoming balls to control or adapt the operation of the loader in accordance with the supply rate. Secondary sensors may also be utilized to provide additional information. Secondary sensors may be placed in the outfeed tube, placed to provide supplemental side information, or a combination of these placements. Various placements provide feed rate information and may also detect jammed ball positions in the transition area at the end of the outfeed tube.

A spring tensioned paintball agitator using a stretchable tension device providing increased maintenance and replacement access. A base frame and a finger frame are provided defining a movement limit device to prevent overextension of the spring while maintaining a minimum spring position. The agitator includes vertical ball displacement tips for increasing ball agitation inside the hopper and contact finger having a variable contact face for ball position control.

A sight apparatus for attachment to a paintball marker having two distinct reticles to assist with the placement accuracy of paintballs. The sight apparatus comprises a body, a first reticle and a second reticle. The first reticle is substantially transparent and includes a diameter line, at least two radius lines, and at least three segment lines extending from each of at least two radius lines. The second reticle is substantially transparent and has a rectangular outline.

A compactable paintball marker squeegee adapted to compact for carrying on the playing field for paintball games. The squeegee is designed to compact into smaller arrangements while providing the capability of wiping paint out a marker barrel. The present invention is designed such that the system will lock into an elongated position and may be unlocked and flipped closed with a single hand motion for compaction during play of a paintball game. Additional improvements provide for a protective design to provide improved insertion into clothing with a protected cleaning head, and improved cleaning head movements through a pear-shaped connection aperture for the pivoting head.

A paintball loader has a motor-driven impeller with a plurality of resilient arms that engage and move paintballs in the loader housing. The resilient arms preferably are spaced to accommodate paintballs therebetween. The arms are sufficiently flexible to yield so as not to rupture the paintball shells.

Active feed paintball loader with flexible impeller

An impeller for an active-feed paintball loader has resilient arms that engage paintballs in the lower portion (well) of the loader and advance them to and through the outfeed tube. The resilient arms are sufficiently stiff to move unobstructed paintballs located between the arms, and sufficiently flexible to yield when forced against stationary paintballs so as not to rupture the paintball shells, the arms substantially returning to their original shape when the obstruction is removed. Accordingly, when the motor is shut off, the arms will simply flex backward as they encounter stationary paintballs. Should a paintball jam occur in the vicinity of the impeller, the arm(s) can flex around the jammed ball without breaking it, and help to dislodge it so as to clear the jam.
